03/09/2025: Cozy atmosphere really an Italian square you felt like a local. But you can get the same pizza in Sweden at any pizzeria. The olives are boring and the canned mushrooms. Very disappointed. Had heard a lot of good things about this place but am disappointed.

29/08/2025: Ordered a pizza for takeout. The opening hours on Google are incorrect; the restaurant didn't open until around 6 p.m. The pizza is delicious and tasty at a fair price. We'll be back when we're in the area.

02/09/2025: As expats we were looking for a place to get authentic Italian pizza. And their particular type „Salsiccia e Friarelli“ is in my opinion maybe the best pizza I was ever enlightened to eat. That’s why we baptised this restaurant just „The Pizza Temple“. Grazie.

26/07/2025: The ingredients are high-quality, the revisited pizza dough is good, but I personally prefer the traditional one with a variety of doughs and more sophisticated flours. The quality/price ratio could be improved.

20/07/2025: I think the price is excessive, given that the pizzas are very small, thin, and sparsely topped. They look more like covaccini than pizzas. Among the pizzas, there was a della (the only one that could be saved), a black forest (which should have been heavily topped but had very little to no toppings), and a sausage and stracchino. The stracchino was out, so we asked if it was possible to add burrata, which we were charged €3.50 more for without being told in advance.

18/09/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, and immediately found the atmosphere very welcoming. Quality homemade food, excellent value. For lovers of thin pizza, this is the place to be. Impeccable service. Clean.

04/09/2025: My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant on a Google recommendation. It's not a large but well-maintained restaurant, with outdoor seating in the center of town. For starters, we had ricotta and spinach ravioli with butter and sage, and a cream of truffle and porcini mushrooms, both delicious. For main course, grilled chicken breast for two, with a side of lemon spinach and French fries. For dessert, we had tiramisu (homemade) and caramel panna cotta, water, and a Coke. Everything was truly well-cooked, combined with friendly and professional service, so there were no long waits despite the crowded restaurant. The bill, €50, proved to be a truly excellent value. Highly recommended!

29/09/2025: The pizza, although nicely presented, unfortunately didn't satisfy me at all. It wasn't very tasty and wasn't even piping hot when served. Service was exorbitantly slow. The outdoor patio has some issues that are even dangerous.

30/09/2025: I was with a group of 30 people and we booked a special menu: a cured meats and cheese appetizer, two amazing first courses: tagliatelle with ragù and tortelli with cheese and truffle, mixed grill, side of potatoes and salad, tiramisu, unlimited wine, water, and coffee. All for just €40. The food arrived hot and quickly, with no delays between the first and second courses. They also always brought unlimited focaccia and bread. The atmosphere was very charming and welcoming, allowing us to mingle with others, even though there were many of us, without any problems, and the terrace was really useful for strolling between courses. Highly recommended!

08/10/2025: A down-to-earth restaurant, excellent dishes, generous portions, and fair prices. Many dishes are also available gluten-free. The staff is very helpful. I especially thank the girl who takes questions, who is kind and attentive. I recommend the tagliatelle with fresh porcini mushrooms, very good!

29/09/2025: For me, it's one of the best pizzas in Pisa. Excellent selection of ingredients, the option to choose the type of pizza or flour, the quality of the beers is varied and very good, and the staff is also kind and friendly. Of course, everyone has their own tastes and everyone has their favorite place. But since I've been eating pizza at the Officina, I haven't had it anywhere else.

11/09/2025: The food is very good and is ordered via QR code. The service is good, but could be better. Outside, it's a typical Italian restaurant in a side alley, but there was a bit of a strange smell. On the other hand, you're not directly on a tourist strip, which has its charm.

20/09/2025: We really enjoyed the food; we shared the pizza and received it on two plates. The service was friendly, and we and our German Shepherd felt very comfortable.

29/08/2025: On our way back from vacation, we decided to stop in the hills for a quick dinner. Finding this place was a lovely surprise. Everything was delicious, the staff was super friendly. If I had to make a comment, I'd make the fried food a little more generous.

05/10/2025: We eat there at least twice a year on vacation. The service is very attentive and very friendly. The table is set with proper tablecloths, matching cloth napkins, wine glasses, good cutlery, soft drink glasses, and a small table lamp in the center of the table. The food, whether appetizer, main course, or dessert, is delicious, generously portioned, and fresh. The value for money is excellent. We'll be back, and not just because of tradition.

11/09/2025: We were a part of 11 and we all enjoyed this restaurant that much we went twice. Staff were very friendly and nothing was any trouble . Food was bello and it all came out at the same time 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 I would highly recommend

09/09/2025: DELICIOUS LUNCH INSIDE A CASTLE ! My wife and I arrived in Florence by Bullet Train from Rome on Sunday, March 23rd. A well appointed king suite on the 5th floor of the luxurious Hotel Berchielli would be HOME for the next 4 days. Hard to beat that view of the picturesque River Arno ! We had a couple of day tours planned while in Florence and had engaged the services of our fav limo tour driver Martin who knew the ropes around here better than most. And more than that Martin had become our good friend since we first used his services 18 months before when he drove us from Florence to Bologna via the scenic route. On Monday Martin picked us up out front to begin our road tour of Tuscany. AMAZING SCENERY EVERYWHERE ! We stopped at Piazza del Campo for a look around...Siena Cathedral was beautiful ! In the distance I could see a large structure that looked like a castle. I said to Martin that I had never seen a castle....then we will go there Michael was his reply. Martin let us out at the front entrance while he parked the limo...and then he joined us within a few minutes. WOW ! What we could see out front sure looked majestic. NOTE ! San Gimignano is a small walled medieval hill town in the province of Siena, Tuscany, north-central Italy. Known as the Town of Five Towers, San Gimignano is famous for its medieval architecture, unique in the preservation of about a dozen of its tower houses which with its hilltop setting and encircling walls, form "an unforgettable skyline". In the 3rd century BC a small Etruscan village stood on the site of San Gimignano. Shortly after we entered through the front gate my wife bought a beautiful Italian wide brimmed straw hat to replace the one left behind on the Bullet Train. We walked along the pristine paved paths looking at the wide variety of small businesses designed to please the hordes of tourists who visit here. At around 1pm we decided it was time to have some lunch and Martin knew the perfect spot...La Biscondola. We found a level table on the sloping outdoor patio and a smiling server named Giusy brought us menus. FIRST UP ! I ordered a bottle of Vale Blonde Ale to come out with our glasses of iced waters. I also asked Guisy to bring me a tall stem glass. FOOD ! I wasn't really sure what I wanted so I thought ordering a Bruschetta would be a good start. My wife and Martin both went with serves of Zuppa Toscana di Farro ( Tuscan spelled soup ). My ice cold blonde ale in a tall stem glass tasted very good. SUPER FAST SERVICE ! Before we knew it our server Giusy brought everything out to our table. My wife and our friend Martin commented how satisfying their soups tasted....it was a chilly day. OMG ! When I ordered my bruschetta I figured it would be a small serve and then I would order something else. BIGGEST BRUSCHETTA EVER ! But I tell you what....it was totally delicious. DESSERT ! We had plans to buy gelatos at a very famous gelateria up the street but some sort of cake sounded nice. When I was checking out inside a bit earlier I saw this interesting looking cake on the bar counter. Giusy told me it was called Panforte Fichi e Noci ( figs, nuts, honey ). Everyone agreed we should have some. Soon after Giusy brought out 6 thin slices on a platter...it tasted dense, rich and very flavorsome. We loved it. I had a lovely chat with Stefania the owner before we headed off on our merry way. A VERY ENJOYABLE LUNCH !
