01/05/2026: Rustic setting in the Florentine hinterland. Well-crafted home cooking, varied dishes, and generous portions. The wait times are a bit long, but more than anything, they're uneven: appetizers and first courses are very quick, but then there's a long wait for main courses and side dishes. Otherwise, the staff is courteous and very friendly, and deserves a special mention.

04/05/2026: Don't be fooled by the simplicity of the place or its suburban location: pizza here is a serious business. The atmosphere is very casual and no-frills, just like the pizzerias of old, but the quality of their gluten-free pizza is astonishing. It's hard to find anything this good: light, tasty, and carefully crafted. If you're looking for substance and authentic flavor, this is the place.

19/04/2026: This restaurant was suggested by AI. We truly wanted to find something non-touristy and avoid a tourist trap, and were hoping to try local meats, so we decided to give this steakhouse a chance. Unfortunately, we were very negatively surprised by the level of service we received. First, the waiter didn’t really understand English. We don’t blame anyone for that, as there’s no requirement for everyone to speak it, but it made communication very difficult. The waiter mixed up our order several times and brought out a different wine than what we had asked for. On top of that, he brought the wrong bottle size and struggled to open it. We ordered two steaks and received them very undercooked, despite having ordered them medium. The steaks were simply not enjoyable. We were also puzzled by some of the unusual service choices — after the meal, they brought out a large stand filled with lollipops and candies, and insisted on cash payment collected in a plastic toy car-shaped can, which felt very strange and unprofessional. Overall, the experience was disappointing and we would not recommend eating here to anyone looking for a delicious meal with great service.

Everything, absolutely everything my family and I tried was exceptional, from the platter to the tartare, to the homemade first courses, to the grilled meats. In short, you'd be fools if you didn't try it. The atmosphere was informal, the wine selection excellent, and everything was top-notch!

01/05/2026: I was here for dinner to say goodbye to a colleague who was saying goodbye to us (04/30/2026). The place is very pleasant, the staff are helpful and friendly (all or almost all young). The food was good and in fairly generous portions, and everything for only 25 euros per person. Recommended! 👌👍

20/04/2026: The pizza was very good, with a nice selection of ingredients, and the mozzarella they use was excellent. The pizza dough was tasty and beautifully toasted in the wood-fired oven. I'll definitely be back.

03/05/2026: Terrible experience overall, both in terms of quality and service, with an ignorant and rude owner. Frozen, almost mummified croissants were displayed for €1.40 each. We ordered two, plus a cappuccino and a coffee. I'm attaching a receipt to prove the price increase at the register, justified by the "table service." The insult? We brought everything to our table ourselves, and eating at the counter is impossible. They deserve to close down, for the "service" they provide to their unfortunate customers and for the damage they've done to Italian restaurants. P.S. In a REAL pastry shop just a few steps away, excellent breakfast at a fair price!

22/02/2026: A Saporito di Rende is a very well-known and popular bar. For me, breakfast couldn't have gone better! The kindness, friendliness, and quality were top-notch! The display case at the entrance is well-stocked with a variety of sweets, including cakes and other treats to go. Service is super-fast, both at the counter and at your table. The space is small but tidy, clean, and private, with seating available outside. Highly recommended!

24/06/2026: Smiling, professional, helpful, a clean, thoughtfully renovated environment, a red beer to recommend, a wide selection of pizzas and ciaccini. To be nitpicking, perhaps I'd make the pizza base a little thicker. But overall, it's a good place. I agree with what I wrote above: it's a good place. Today, the anchovy and caper pizza was truly satisfying, but the other pizzas are also worth trying. Unfortunately, with some concerns about the thickness of the pizza base, my overall review is largely positive. Convenient parking spot, and it's also suitable for street parking. Even reheated, the pizza is satisfying, and it's topped appropriately. I sincerely hope they double the thickness of the pizza base. I agree with everything, I appreciate owner Lorenzo's explanations about the thickness of the pizza, and I continue to recommend trying it because it's worth it.
