06/08/2026: Whenever I'm in a city, I try to rely on local recommendations rather than online reviews. This particular place was recommended to us, and we weren't disappointed. The prices were very reasonable. Lots of Italians were eating there, which was a plus for me. The pizza was very good, the pasta delicious. I opted for the seafood option and wasn't disappointed. I could smell the delicious tomatoes, and after the meal itself, I felt very good (which I'm always afraid of when tempted by seafood 🤭). The wine was also delicious. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was great, and a liter of Coke complemented the current heat in Rome – perfect 👌

19/05/2026: Classic pizzeria. The giant 4-flavor pizzas are excellent. Fried foods and bruschetta are recommended.

08/05/2026: You can't wait two hours for a pizza. We sat down at 8:30 PM and didn't get our pizza until 10:30 PM, and needless to say, it was busy. Disorganized.

02/07/2026: We went to this place at the recommendation of our hotel and let me tell you it was amazing. The server Tariq took care of us like we were family, and even played multiple practical jokes on us, which was great for our family of practical jokester. We left feeling like family and was a great way to cap off our trip in Rome.

25/06/2026: Our hotel was across the street from the restaurant, and we went there for lunch and dinner. The dishes were delicious, well-prepared, and the food was high quality. The service was spectacular! When we come to Rome, we will definitely return.

27/05/2026: The locale is lovely, the decor and ambiance is staying. But I found the food (courgette entree and truffle pasta) service quite average. But there were lots of actual Italians enjoying their food there so perhaps I got the wrong dishes!

20/05/2026: My favorite pizzeria in Frascati. I've never bought anything there that wasn't excellent. The quality of the dough and ingredients is absolutely unparalleled.

15/05/2026: Great pizzas by the slice, great selection, it's even hard to choose. The only downside is that there are only two small tables to sit at (but it's warm inside in the summer) We took it outside. Friendly staff, they warmed up the pizzas, helped with the choice.. Excellent taste of mushrooms with cheese, as well as the one with potatoes... I recommend them as an option for a quick and tasty meal.

25/07/2026: My move deserved a film crew. Last Monday, I moved to Villaggio Adriano, and the trip was something between a comedy and Noah's Ark: in the car were me, my son, my brother, two cats, a dog, and a rabbit. All that was missing was the giraffes, and we could have docked directly on Mount Ararat. After hours of traveling, we arrived at 9:40 PM, tired, hungry, and certain that everything would be closed. Instead, fate had decided to give me a gift: the Cardinal Lounge. I walked in almost apologetically, because they were closing, and asked if it was still possible to get three takeout pizzas. They could have said no. It would have been understandable. Instead, they looked at me, saw my face, the castaway of the move, and, with a kindness that is increasingly rare these days, they went back to making them. The next day, I went back to thank them. Then I went back again. And then again. Because the beauty of the Cardinal Lounge isn't just the delicious food. It's the atmosphere that makes you let your guard down, strike up a conversation with those around you, and feel welcome even if you've just arrived in a city where you don't know anyone. Moving means leaving behind pieces of your life and starting over. Finding a place like this, on my first night, was a small gift of fate. I'm convinced that the Cardinal Lounge will become my Tivoli refuge, the place to go when I want to eat well, have a laugh, and feel a little more at home. Thank you to the owners for not seeing a last-minute guest, but someone who needed a little welcome. Sometimes it's precisely these gestures that make the difference. And, after all, the first people who made me feel truly welcome in Tivoli were you.

The hospitality and cuisine were top-notch ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ​We arrived at this restaurant almost at closing time, when many other places would have rightfully passed us by. Instead, the staff welcomed us with open arms: they seated us without the slightest problem, immediately demonstrating a rare kindness and helpfulness. ​Despite the late hour and the tiredness of the kitchen staff after their shift, the service was impeccable, and we ate truly, truly delicious. Everything was excellent, from start to finish, without any rush or sloppiness in the dishes. ​As if that weren't enough, they even gave us a small discount when it came to the bill, a gesture of unique courtesy that shows how much they care about their customers. ​We really wanted to publicly praise this restaurant because finding such a welcome so close to closing time is not something everyone can do. Professional, kind, and the cuisine was fantastic. We'll definitely be back!

30/06/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance during a work break. The restaurant, as you can see from the photos, is very quaint. It offers traditional fish and meat dishes, fairly fast service, and good value.

13/07/2026: Honestly, I didn't have high expectations since it's in a very touristy area, but thinking that there couldn't be bad pizza in Rome and trusting the reviews, we went there last night and waited in line. It was our turn after half an hour, and we went inside. The atmosphere seemed like a "eat your pizza and leave" kind of place. Unlike other restaurants we've tried, it wasn't the kind of place where you could spend hours enjoying your wine. The table we sat at was a small two-person table, but even though we were alone, there were people sitting at a four-person table. I guess the system is that when a table becomes available, they seat you at a four-person table, even if you're only one person. The air conditioning was blowing incredibly hard on our table, so it was impossible to sit there. Thankfully, they moved us to another table. As for the pizza; I've never eaten a pizza with such fluffy crusts before. I don't know if it will appeal to everyone, but I love crusts like that :) I started eating it as soon as I saw it, so I forgot to take a picture of it at its best 🫣, so you'll see a half-eaten pizza :) If you're someone who likes Neapolitan pizza like this, I think you'll love it. It doesn't matter what the interior of the place is like, I left very satisfied ♥️

12/07/2026: Super delicious pizza! The crust is thin and chewy. I ordered the yellow one (third one), which is a flavor I don't usually get, and I loved it. The red one (third one) is stinky cheese!! Super stinky!! Prompt: only order if you like stinky cheese. Even on a weekday evening at 9 pm, there's a queue for almost an hour, but the staff are very friendly.
