Capperi! In Roma

Stefano (Uber) picked us up at Fiumicino Airport and made an effort to speak to us in Spanish. He recommended Nannarella in Trastevere and Capperi! near our apartment (CIPRO). We ate there on our first and last nights. Christian (Capperi!) was our food guide. We started with very good quality medium beers. Since we aren't cheese lovers (except for mozzarella), he offered us some delicious spaghetti with clams, followed by the obligatory Margherita pizza (to savor the quality of the dough, tomato, and mozzarella) and a few others as we pleased. Everything was delicious. Their weak point is desserts, but in Rome you can find magnificent gelato at any time. We saw some tempting meat dishes and promised to return. We did so three nights later and discovered some magnificent cuts of meat, perfectly aged and grilled to perfection. WE WILL BE BACK!

We went to this restaurant for a colleague's birthday, and I have to say everything was perfect: tasty, well-served dishes, very welcoming and discreet staff, lovely location, slightly above-average prices, but it was worth it. Recommended!

The pizzas aren't leavened and don't have the classic crust; furthermore, since they're all perfectly round, they don't give the impression of being hand-made by the pizza chef. The fried foods aren't great, and the mozzarella inside the zucchini flower was cold. The service was precise and attentive. The price-quality ratio wasn't exactly optimal.

Everything was very good, the service was slow but professional and serious.

I often go to Capperi, and I have to say the food is excellent, from the starters to the meat, everything is well-prepared! And if you're lucky enough to be served by Simon, you're in the right place; I've never met a better waiter!

I had dinner at Capperi! last week with a friend and was thrilled. The restaurant is located in the Balduina area, next to the Virgin gym. Parking isn't always easy in that area, but there's a reserved parking lot there. The restaurant is spacious, with several rooms inside, bright and welcoming. The friendly and helpful staff welcomed us, letting us choose both the dining room and the table. The extensive menu ranges from a wide variety of appetizers to pizza, as well as various meat and fish options. There's also a nice selection of desserts. The food is excellent, cooked simply and lightly. I ate mostly fish, but I saw some very tasty pizzas, which had a smell that was hard to resist. A great experience, one I'll definitely repeat, as a blogger says 🤍

High-quality cuisine: fresh, tasty, and well-prepared dishes, with generous portions and excellent value.
