11/07/2026: A great experience after a day at the lake—pinsas passed!
We went to Il Boschetto restaurant in Marino for a Sunday dinner at the end of June, returning from a wonderful day at Lake Albano. Having made a reservation, we were greeted warmly and seated without a long wait, even though it was Sunday. The restaurant is welcoming and spacious, with several indoor and outdoor areas.
The service was very fast: they brought us menus right away, and the ordering process was quick and efficient. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful throughout the evening.
Here's what we ordered and our impressions:
🫓 The fried dishes (fried vegetables and zucchini flowers): Truly excellent. The fried food was light, dry, flavorful, and pleasantly crunchy. A full pass!
🍕 The Pinsas: We each had a pinsa. The dough was definitely good, light and well-aired, and the toppings were generous and high-quality (the combinations were excellent, like the one with porchetta and potatoes or the rich one with red onion, anchovies, and cherry tomatoes). My only small personal comment: I would have added just a pinch more salt to the dough or the toppings to bring out the flavors even more, and I'll start by saying that I'm not a savory eater.
Overall, it was a wonderful and relaxing culinary experience. Definitely worth trying again if you're in the Castelli Romani area!

What more could you ask for?

01/06/2026: Good morning, I ordered last night through Just Eat, and it was clearly written in the notes that I didn't want tomatoes.
The pizza arrived 30 minutes late and was full of tomatoes. I had to throw it away.
They probably don't read the notes, so be very careful if you have any allergies. I don't recommend it.

18/07/2025: Location graziosa, in estate area all'aperto. Serata con cover band. Scelta di tre menù o alla carta. Cibo buono, considerato che è un pub, personale cordiale e tempi di attesa brevi. Qualità prezzo più che corretta. Nelle serate dove c'è organizzato un evento è, da parte mia, stra consigliato. La prenotazione è fondamentale.

Per questo non vado quasi mai, però ho voluto provare un giorno.
Ordino tra i pochi piatti a disposizione un gamberi e zucchine..
La faccio brevissima, nel piatto non c erano nessuno dei due , solo pasta….
Ho cambiato per un amatriciana . Buona !
A parte l inconveniente se sei di passaggio può anche andar bene
20/05/2025: Non conoscevo questo ristorante. Oggi sono stato invitato a pranzo da mio fratello che festeggiava il 25° anniversario di matrimonio. Devo dire che i cibi serviti sono stati tutti eccellenti ed il servizio è stato impeccabile. La cameriera che ci serviva ai tavoli era veramente attenta ed efficiente. Insomma, un posto da frequentare con piacere.

Antipasto con 2 fette di prosciutto, una ciotolina di fagioli secchi e Collodi, trippa così e così.
Rigatoni alla pajata scotti, pajata inesistente.
Coda e abbacchio duri e salati, coniglio passabile.
Non ci ha proposto nessuno dolce, questo è grave.
Faccio presente che erano tutti assagini, pagato 46 euro a persona.
Abbiamo preso una fregatura certificata.
Mai più, sconsigliato.
