Piccolo Buco In Roma

Honestly, I didn't have high expectations since it's in a very touristy area, but thinking that there couldn't be bad pizza in Rome and trusting the reviews, we went there last night and waited in line. It was our turn after half an hour, and we went inside. The atmosphere seemed like a "eat your pizza and leave" kind of place. Unlike other restaurants we've tried, it wasn't the kind of place where you could spend hours enjoying your wine. The table we sat at was a small two-person table, but even though we were alone, there were people sitting at a four-person table. I guess the system is that when a table becomes available, they seat you at a four-person table, even if you're only one person. The air conditioning was blowing incredibly hard on our table, so it was impossible to sit there. Thankfully, they moved us to another table. As for the pizza; I've never eaten a pizza with such fluffy crusts before. I don't know if it will appeal to everyone, but I love crusts like that :) I started eating it as soon as I saw it, so I forgot to take a picture of it at its best 🫣, so you'll see a half-eaten pizza :) If you're someone who likes Neapolitan pizza like this, I think you'll love it. It doesn't matter what the interior of the place is like, I left very satisfied ♥️

I went there after seeing other people's reviews and pictures; it looked delicious. As a Chinese person who's been here for a week, I still can't get used to Italian food, but this was better than anything I'd had before. It was actually quite fragrant, and the crust was especially delicious—very soft when it was fresh out of the oven, and even the slightly charred parts were tasty. The burrita cheese just tasted a bit sour to me; I didn't really taste a strong creamy flavor. Maybe I was too hungry and ate too quickly to appreciate it! This serving cost €15, plus a €2.50 service charge. The portion was quite large; if a woman with a small appetite came, she might be full after eating about a third. If you're eating alone, you can take it home. Mainly, I didn't really like the taste (so I only gave it 4 stars). People who like Italian food might really enjoy it. Also, when I went in the afternoon, there was a long queue. I went around 6 pm and waited in line for about 30-40 minutes. If your schedule is tight, remember to check the potential waiting time beforehand! The wishing well is right next door, it's very close, just a minute or two's walk away. If you're visiting this area, you can try this shop.

Super delicious pizza! The crust is thin and chewy. I ordered the yellow one (third one), which is a flavor I don't usually get, and I loved it. The red one (third one) is stinky cheese!! Super stinky!! Prompt: only order if you like stinky cheese. Even on a weekday evening at 9 pm, there's a queue for almost an hour, but the staff are very friendly.

Good pizza, but a very small and crowded restaurant.

We waited in line to get in for an hour, but it was worth every minute. All the pizzas were impeccable, some of the best pizzas I've ever had. We ordered four pizzas for three people because we wanted to try more flavors, and I don't regret it. The panna cotta dessert was the BEST dessert I've ever had; it was divine, so good you'd want to eat it on your knees. Order the panna cotta and you won't be disappointed. The restaurant is small but has its charm, and we were seated in a spot where we could see the pizzas being made, which, as a pizza lover, I adored. The waiters were very attentive to us. I highly recommend it!

Simply the best pizza in the center of Rome, and on top of that, the service was super attentive.

The place is cramped and small. The pizza is good. There are no extra dishes. The menu is limited.

We arrived at the restaurant around 7:45 pm. After a 30-minute wait, we were allowed in. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to our table. Buco probably employs the friendliest people in Italy. I have never experienced such a warm, calm, and attentive welcome. Now, let's talk about the food: What did the guys in the kitchen conjure up?! It was absolutely AMAZING! The Neapolitan pizza was fluffy, thin, and topped with unusual ingredients. It was simply delicious. I highly recommend that anyone visiting Rome eat a pizza there.
