Every establishment is free to decide whether or not to let them in! But the arrogance with which the "gentleman" who comes out to call customers to come in said this is truly unpleasant!!! Dogs aren't allowed in, it's even written on the door!!! So we turned around, and in the meantime I replied: "The only establishment in Rome that doesn't allow dogs!" And he, in his ignorance, replied: "I'm unique in everything!!!" And I said: "Lucky you!" I'll conclude with no comment! The food may even be good, but with this presentation alone, FAIL!!! A place, in addition to having good food, must also have good manners towards its customers, and they clearly don't have any!

22/02/2026: We went to this place recommended by acquaintances. We went in winter, and they had both a veranda (very nice) and an indoor dining room; we were seated in the indoor dining room. We opted for a variety of appetizers (also to accommodate the diverse tastes of our guests): baby octopus, sautéed clams and mussels, battered vegetables, and Calabrian cold cuts. I must say they were all good, the only complaint being that the sautéed dish was almost entirely mussels and just a few clams (I would have expected a few more clams, a more balanced mix, but never mind). For our first courses, we opted for cacio e pepe, tagliatelle with meat sauce, two seafood pasta dishes, Calabrian-style inferrettata, and seafood risotto. As for the first courses, with the exception of the tagliatelle and a bit of cacio e pepe, the rest was disappointing. The risotto, which I was counting on, was completely tasteless; the rice didn't really pair with the seafood flavors; they seemed like two separate things, and the seafood ingredients themselves were also tasteless. Since we didn't know what the Calabrian-style inferrettata was, we asked the waiter for details. When we specifically asked if peppers were among the ingredients, we were told no, but they were. Furthermore, the vegetables and sauce didn't pair well. The seafood pasta dishes, besides being flawed (we'd ordered spaghetti and scialatiello, but we received two plates of spaghetti), were overflowing with sauce (too much for my taste) and the seafood was overcooked. In short, we weren't entirely satisfied with the first courses, except for the two mentioned above. Desserts: Delicious lemon delight and tiramisu (we were told it was tiramisu cake, but it was actually individual tiramisu portions). We then had a Ribolla Gialla to accompany it, which was decent. In short, I have to say that overall I'm disappointed with this place. The appetizers and desserts were good, but the entrees were lacking in quality.

21/02/2026: This Calabrian restaurant-pizzeria offers a varied menu with Roman first courses, meat-based main courses, and pizzas. We didn't order pizza, but the aroma could be smelled from the nearby tables and appreciated its deliciousness. Our meat choices—both steaks and saltimbocca alla romana (the dish of the day)—we thoroughly enjoyed. Ample quantity, well-cooked, and flavorful, definitely satisfying. The meat was accompanied by very well-cooked baked potatoes and chicory. The meal concluded with a classic tiramisu and a berry cheesecake. Both desserts were exquisite, especially the cheesecake with its firm, crunchy biscuit. The cream cheese filling was perhaps too similar to panna cotta, but it was definitely good. The waiters are present, but perhaps they don't listen to the customers well enough, perhaps they're in a hurry due to the number of customers in the restaurant, and they aren't overly attentive, but overall they're a hit. The price is definitely average, especially considering the meat option, and they're certainly not cheap. Overall, recommended for a quiet and tasty dinner.

19/03/2026: In my opinion, this is a very authentic pizzeria and one of my favorites in the Garbatella neighborhood! The pizza is made in a wood-fired oven, so you can enjoy the authentic flavor of Roman pizza! I also recommend the traditional Roman fried dishes like fiori di zucca, supli, olive fritte, etc. A highly recommended place! 🍕My favorite is the pizza diavola! (Be careful if you don't eat spicy food!)

17/03/2026: Er panonto is one of my favorite pizza places in Rome, whenever I receive friends in Rome this is a must around Garbatella. They serve typical Roman pizza, with a thin, crunchy and slightly burned crust with creamy cheese and light tomato base. The quality of the ingredients they use speaks volumes. Prices are fair, also, I LOVE that they sell big beers. The experience doesn’t revolve only around food, the insane amount of tables and the way in which they are packed creates a slightly overwhelming atmosphere of noise, laughs, screams and human noises. This is not a place to have a quiet dinner, for sure. It is common to wait in order to get in, but it’s worth it. I absolutely recommend this place 💗

05/01/2026: 5 pizzas and 5 supplì for €52: a rarity these days! And the pizza was really good! And it was home delivery, so it was definitely even better on the spot! The supplì were special :) Plus, upon request, you can pay by card even if you're having dinner delivered.
