23/11/2025: It is my first visit to Ristorante Al Piave a family business tradition Italian cuisine 🇮🇹 it was a pleasure to meet the owner(Salvatore )and his lovely family the wife and the daughter( Laura and Mery ) . The atmosphere is very cozy. The food is amazing 😻 I tried the tomato Ravioli and seafood spaghetti 🤤🤤 I highly recommend it. Special thanks for Mimmo who served our table and for his warm welcoming 🙏🏼. Also our appreciation for the chef and Pl Piave team. Wish you all the best 🙏🏼

Tatiana gives excellent advice on Italian specialties; just ask her questions and she'll point you towards some great options. A truly excellent meal for only €40. Come and experience it for yourself!

25/11/2025: The food here is good, and the menu is extensive, including gluten-free and vegetarian options. They offer traditional Roman dishes, as well as other specialties. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommended!

11/11/2025: My partner and I went to this restaurant for the first time last night. I'd noticed it before because I've been to the Trigoria neighborhood quite often, but we'd never been there before. I have to say it was a lovely discovery... the restaurant is simply elegant and has a lovely atmosphere, a truly welcoming ambiance. We ordered two fish appetizers, two first courses, and a side dish. The fish was very fresh and cooked very well. Perhaps the only criticism I have is that the sautéed chicory had too much chili pepper, but that's a matter of taste. The two waiters who served us, a young man and a young woman, were attentive and very helpful, as well as quick. We'll definitely be returning to this restaurant, especially since we like to eat out quite often. Everyone was excellent.

06/11/2025: Got a bonus on a website (it’s mentioned in the photo) and decided to treat myself. Just wanted a quick bite but ended up having a great dinner and an even better mood. The pizza with mushrooms and sausage was amazing — fluffy dough, melty cheese, everything perfect.

07/12/2025: We finally had the opportunity to try "Mr Pizzami" in the Cinquina neighborhood, and despite the somewhat remote location and the difficulty in finding a table, the experience was well worth the effort. The place is small and very basic, which makes booking and finding a table a real challenge (I recommend booking well in advance). They operate two evening shifts and offer an excellent all-you-can-eat pizza option. Saturday and Sunday: €20 (including drinks and a Nutella pizza to finish) Weekdays: €15 (including drinks and Nutella) I noticed they no longer serve fried foods, contrary to what some older reviews reported. The real strength is the hospitality. We were greeted by the owner, Aleandro, a contagiously friendly person who immediately put us at ease. 😁😂 ​The service was incredibly fast and attentive. The arrosticini (excellent!) were replenished as soon as the last one was gone, and the same efficiency was maintained throughout the meal. The entire staff is fast, smiling, and extremely efficient. ​The pizza is truly excellent. The dough is light, and the toppings are generous and made with top-quality ingredients. Every slice we tried was flavorful and well-balanced, confirming the care that goes into the choice of ingredients. ​The only thing that didn't completely convince me was the impossibility of having an extra portion of Nutella pizza at the end. We were told that our bill had already been finalized. While I understand the logistical need to close the tables and prepare for the next shift (given the format and size of the restaurant), closing the bill before the final payment left a bitter taste in my mouth. Despite the small inconvenience at the end, the overall impression is absolutely positive. "Mr Pizzami" is a place I highly recommend to everyone: Perfect for groups of friends. Also ideal for tables of four. If you're willing to take on the challenge of making a reservation, you'll be rewarded with excellent pizza, a convenient formula, and, above all, excellent service and a warm atmosphere. Definitely worth a try!

07/12/2025: Good, easy-to-digest pizza. Really good arrosticini. Fairly priced, because while it's true that there are pizzerias that serve non-stop for less, it's also true that no one does arrosticini non-stop. Pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven and arrosticini cooked on real charcoal. Nice place and light pizza. Average service and easy parking. Good location.

23/11/2025: Our best experience in Rome. Delicious pasta, huge portions at very reasonable prices. Very close to the Vatican Museums. Bravo for the food and service!

12/12/2025: We had dinner with friends, about ten of us, and we had a great time, but I'd like to highlight the pizza. It was DELICIOUS, Roman-style, light, easy to digest, and left you thirsty all night and in the morning. Fair prices, a simple, pleasant neighborhood atmosphere. The service was a bit slow/distracted, but that's a small detail for improvement in my opinion. I'll definitely be back. Well done.

06/11/2025: Sometimes you just want to relax and enjoy a good meal. That’s exactly when the bonus from the website (shown in the photo) came in handy — I decided to stop by and try this pizza. Totally worth it! The crust was light, the sauce rich, and the cheese perfectly stretchy.

26/11/2025: After spending 15 days in Italy and surrounding countries found an amazing place I'd like to recommend "La Cocande" and as a bonus... it's affordable. On our second to the last night, near our hotel, Our hotel suggested a family owned and run "very" authentic Italian restaurant for dinner. Of course being Americans we eat much earlier than Europeans so don't let the empty tables in my photos discourage since it was full before we left. During iur dinner tge restaurant filled up as well as a large amount of take aways. My wife had a calamari/shrimp dish and I had Salamobecca del Romana (see photos for each). Although I could not pronounce it the waiter was patient and I was several slices of veal, topped with products ham and sage pierced with a skewer and seared with a fabulous Virgin olive oil. I saw several other dishes served to other tables and each was an work of savory art. Thank you to the chef and staff for an unforgettable meal and memory.

25/10/2025: Excellent service. They spoke to us in Spanish, were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for families, couples, or solo travelers.

30/08/2025: The worst pizza of my life, the base seems pre-made, all the same, hard and tasteless... there are better pizzas in the supermarket, also when I told the man my complaint he reacted irately and arrogantly telling me that I had no idea, we left more than half a pizza and half a focaccia (the same base) and bought a pizza al taglio in the alley of Fontana di Trevi to get rid of the bad taste in our mouths... I was surprised to find such a horrible pizza in Rome. They take advantage of the location of the restaurant, they take advantage of tourists and underestimate them.

28/07/2025: Great food, reasonable priced, and friendly staff. I always visit this place everytime I visit Rome since 2019. I was so sorry when I saw it was temporarily closed in the last March. I hope I can visit there next year!

04/12/2025: I was truly impressed by this restaurant. The variety of dishes is astonishing; there's truly something for every taste. Everything I tried was prepared with quality ingredients and great care. The staff is friendly, helpful, and ready to recommend the right dish, while the atmosphere is welcoming and well-kept. An excellent choice for those who want to eat well and in a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!
