17/04/2025: This is a tiny takeout place with only a few varieties of pizza. It was decent pizza and a good price. It's a good choice for a quick meal if you are in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

18/05/2025: I am very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. First of all, the website is completely out of date: the online menu differs significantly from the paper one that was delivered to my table, causing confusion and an incorrect expectation about the dishes available. In fact, as a regular customer, I went with other friends to take advantage of the no-stop pizza menu, but when we requested it we were told that it was a minimum of 8 people, in reality on the website it says a minimum of 4 people so it put us in a bad mood for the evening and we were not even given a solution since this change had been made only the previous day. From a user experience point of view, this misalignment is unacceptable and denotes a lack of care in the management of digital information, which is also fundamental for the restaurant business today. Furthermore, the waiting times were excessively long and not justified by the complexity of the dishes. This indicates problems in the management of the workflow in the kitchen or in the logistics of the service, with obvious operational inefficiencies. It took 55 minutes to eat a courgette flower. As for the food, the fried food was excessively greasy, a sign of oil that was not well filtered or not changed with the right frequency, compromising quality and digestibility. The pizzas, on the other hand, were very simple in terms of variety, resulting banal and not very well cared for, far from an acceptable gastronomic standard for the price requested. A positive note should be broken regarding the pizza dough and the quality of the product. In short, this restaurant shows serious shortcomings both in digital and organizational management, and in the variety of the product offered. I strongly advise against it until these fundamental aspects are concretely improved.

04/06/2025: Excellent gluten-free cuisine!!! The pizza was really delicious, the staff very friendly, witty and kind. Francesco, the owner, is very nice and the waiters are delicious. I will definitely go back and more! I recommend it to all celiacs (and not)!

14/05/2025: I was hungry, so I went to a place near my accommodation with many Google reviews and good scores without looking at many reviews, but I highly recommend it. There were about 10 people waiting in line in front of the store, and when someone who seemed to be the owner suddenly told me to come in, I wondered what was going on, and as expected, he guided me to an empty seat right in front of the bathroom. The bathroom smelled a little, and there was a shelf right behind the chair where the employees were putting away their cutlery, so it was uncomfortable while eating. There were a lot of people in the store, and the employees were a bit crazy, but they were friendly. The vongole was very bland, but the margherita pizza was a bit salty, so the balance was pretty good. While eating, I looked up reviews of the store, and I read some reviews of racism, and I wondered if I had been subjected to it too. Did they give me a bad seat without even asking if I wanted to sit here? When I paid, the owner was at the counter, and even when I greeted him, he chewed my food. This was the worst service I've ever had. If I hadn't met the owner, I think I would have given it 3 or 4 stars.

17/05/2025: An historic Roman taverna still retaining an authentic atmosphere. The food is excellent, a variety of dishes for everyone, seasonal and everything is freshly made in-house including the pasta and the desserts. I highly recommend stopping by the Volpetti Taverna for lunch or dinner and visiting the Volpetti Salumerie for an aperative and for carefully selected produce to buy and take away.

18/05/2025: We were passing through Cerveteri this morning and decided to stop for lunch at this restaurant, luckily we found a place to have lunch, usually on Sundays many restaurants are full, however we were welcomed by the waiting staff with unique kindness and also by the owners themselves. We ordered a cheese and cold cuts platter as an appetizer, really very good there were samples of Taleggio, Pecorino Romano, Grana etc etc, accompanied by honey, for the cold cuts all the classics from ham to salami, already cut sausages and so on. Then we had two first courses, a matriciana and gnocchi with wild boar sauce, really excellent. It was a really nice discovery, now I think they will have to put up with us for a while. Really thanks to the guys in the waiting room and the owners who worry about the customer passing by the tables to ask if everything is going as hoped. Really worthy of note. See you next time for sure. Very kind
