30/08/2024: Excellent pizza here, everyone speaks English very well, and the service was very friendly. Very reasonably priced as well, between 5-9 euros for a pizza, and €5 for a beer. Nice English music on too, very nice place if you are staying near the airport.

27/07/2024: Excellent place for dinner with friends, I have good memories from when I went as a boy and I also add the polite and helpful staff especially Marco, smiling, joking and attentive to our requests, I recommend you go there to spend a nice evening

17/08/2024: We can say that this place is a symbol of Roman culture. A small, remote but quality place. I had a carbonara and simply dug the air. Even though the wait was long, it was certainly rewarded.

07/06/2024: Originally a country restaurant - it's been there for 65 years now and I can imagine what the area might have been like back then - wedged between petrol stations and pedestrian crossings. With a little effort you can find it. Nice surprise. The place is not large, but is divided into two or three rooms communicating with each other. Excellent pizzas, large, tasty, very seasoned but not greasy or salty. Very good and well cooked grilled meat; fried foods of various kinds, all very pleasant. Well organized service and Gabriele is kind and helpful with everyone, adults and children. Overall excellent value for money

14/08/2024: Siamo tornati dopo qualche anno in questo che ricordavamo come un valido ristorante/pizzeria senza troppe pretese a pochi chilometri da casa, con tavoli all'aperto e piacevole vista su Roma in lontananza. Prima di prenotare ho voluto consultare le recensioni e, tralasciando ovviamente le onnipresenti sperticate lodi a 5 stelle farcite di superlativi che lasciano il tempo che trovano, avevo intuito che qualcosa non sempre era andata per il verso giusto. Ciononostante ho voluto ridare fiducia al locale e verificare di persona. L'accoglienza è gradevole e il cameriere molto cortese e preparato. Nota però stonata per un ambiente che vorrebbe presentarsi di un certo livello il far mangiare su piani di vetro senza tovaglia. Buona la carta dei vini a prezzi ragionevoli. Ottimo il vermentino di Gallura. Buona la focaccia, non certamente il pane, vecchio, non richiesto e fatto pagare 2€ a persona. Antipasto 2 Lune abbondante ma, ahimè, con alcune portate sotto la sufficienza. Cozze fresche mescolate a quelle vecchie, perchè servirle? Buoni gli spaghetti cacio e pepe, non altrettanto si può dire degli spaghetti neri (spacciati per spaghetti al nero di seppia che è tutta un'altra cosa) con bottarga e tartare di tonno, proposti fuori menù, e proprio per questo voluti assaggiare per poter dare un giudizio sulla cucina di piatti non convenzionali. Troppo salati e troppo olio. Dentice per 4 persone al forno con guarnizione di verdure semicarbonizzate (sfoglie di patate e, intuiamo, zucchine) per averle messe al forno con gli stessi tempi di cottura di un dentice di circa un chilo e mezzo. Perchè rovinare una portata di pesce pregiato che sarebbe stato altrimenti discreto (anche se ben lontano dall'eccellenza, intendiamoci), con un inutile immangiabile contorno? Il cameriere, consapevole e imbarazzato, mi offrirà un amaro a fine pasto. Pur riconoscendo ed apprezzando la voglia di alzare il livello del locale e dei piatti con qualcosa di ricercato, senza una cucina all'altezza si rischia di pastrocchiare e a quel punto il rapporto qualità/prezzo non regge più. Concludendo, se volete godervi la vista di Roma in lontananza andateci, se volete mangiare bene andate da un'altra parte.

28/08/2024: I know the restaurant, I have already visited it other times, always with great satisfaction. Yesterday we reached the top. Fish evening. First of all, very fresh, which is not common, the preparation is fantastic. The aroma of the mixed grill arrived before the dish. Let's not talk about the fish soup. To say a masterpiece is an understatement. From the flavour, to the quantity, to the preparation, everything was exceptional. The staff as usual always present and very kind, we won't talk about the owner, kind, friendly. This may seem like an exaggerated review, but it's the simple truth. 11/08/2024: Small family dinner with different orders: two pizzas, a first course and a second course. They served us regularly together and we were all satisfied. First strictly pan-fried, fragrant and digestible pizzas, second course with authentic meat. An extra point certainly goes to the waiter who protected us from mosquitoes and bees with all natural methods so as not to ruin the taste of the dishes.

09/08/2024: The top, whether it's first courses, meat, appetizers, pizza, absolute top. Try the sea bass, asparagus and pecorino linguine. Oh mama

30/08/2024: I find the quality has deteriorated a lot lately. Pizza with aubergines, the last time I threw it away, they were greasy and tasteless, a pizza that used to be much better. Well something has changed

26/08/2024: We arrived around midday and sat inside, the girl at the checkout was very kind in her welcome and manners. The very low value of the review is due to the internal environment with destroyed and dirty walls but above all an absurd mess on the part of the staff who do not speak but shout while narrating their adventures of the day before. For goodness sake it doesn't appear to be something that shouldn't be done but not in this way, I couldn't hear my partner in front of me due to the decibels being too high. Furthermore, the pizza chef went around punching the counter as he passed to make even more noise. We took the remaining pizza to take away, I don't think we will return.

28/08/2024: I was so blatantly racially discriminated against that I don't want to go there again. There were four tables for four on the outside of the street (the best atmosphere), two of them were occupied by a white couple, one was occupied by a family of four, and one was empty, so I said I wanted to sit there, but they said I couldn't because it was for four people. I could clearly see two couples sitting there, so I didn't understand why I couldn't do that, but I had no choice but to sit at the middle two-person table. But soon a white couple came in and they immediately showed us to that empty table for four people. I felt really bad. As we were eating, another table of four where a white couple was sitting was missing, and we were immediately ushered to another white couple coming in. When we came in, we were immediately shown to a table for two, and even though we said we wanted to sit at an empty table for four, we were refused. However, when a white couple came, they were immediately shown to a table for four, which was absurd and made us angry. I feel bad and don't want to go again. It's a pity that I can't give it a score.

28/08/2024: The best pizza we’ve eaten in Rome, cooked freshly in front of you in stonebaked oven, the service was very attentive and atmosphere was relaxed.

27/06/2024: I got some pizzas and fried food to take away because I was passing through that area. I must admit that the pizzas were really good and the fried foods were exceptional, especially the courgette flower. Very kind and punctual on time. A pleasant discovery.

23/08/2024: I left home seeing that it was open on Google... when I arrived in front of the pizzeria I realized that it was closed (August 22nd)

13/07/2024: This is a fantastic place! Salvatore is friendly, funny, welcoming and delightful. The pizza was great, the sausage flambé was a lot of fun. We had a great time! We’ll be back soon.

28/07/2024: Ci sono stata ieri sera col mio fidanzato per la prima volta. Io sono vegana e appena l’ho riferito mi è stato dato un menu apposito, con vastissime opzioni. La pizza era spettacolare, il personale gentilissimo e cordiale, si assicurava sempre che andasse tutto bene. straconsiglio❤️
