25/07/2025: It's a shame, because the pizza was really good. The problem is that the prices are high for all the other dishes served. You can't pay 14 euros for a small plate of penne with tomato sauce (a child's dish), 20 euros for a Milanese, and then add an extra cover charge. Who knows why? Maybe instead of starting from zero, they start at one... not to mention the prices for the basic focaccias served and the French fries with two mini-samples of sauce. They'll never see us again.

14/07/2025: Cena del 01/07/2025la La posizione è centrale, a ridosso di piazza Solferino, e l’ambiente moderno, forse un po’ impersonale, con numerosi tavoli sufficientemente distanziati da garantire un buon comfort acustico. Il menù è piuttosto ampio, con proposte sia di terra sia di mare della tradizione italiana. Preparazioni, a mio giudizio, un po’ disomogenee: molto apprezzati l’insalata di polpo con patate, pomodorini e olive ed il vitello tonnato, troppo unta la “orecchio di elefante”, in origine proposta con pomodorini e rucola a cascata sulla carne, con il rischio di inumidire l’impanatura e cuocere le verdure fresche. Carta dei vini abbastanza ampia, comprendente anche qualche “mezza” bottiglia. Servizio cortese ma, nonostante il ridotto numero di avventori, un po’ lento. Voto: 7

09/07/2025: A fantastic place to get takeout pizzas with the three Bs. Delicious, wood-fired, and reasonably priced. The only downside is that you can't eat them there because it's incredibly hot and the place is very small. The staff is very friendly too.

09/08/2025: Locale accogliente con servizio ottimo, la proprietaria Susanna, ci ha consigliato il vino perfetto per le portate del menu degustazione. Materie prime di primo ordine, lavorate in modo da esaltare i sapori. I proprietari del locale Susanna e Mario sono due persone disponibili e appassionate, ci hanno consigliato anche altri ristoranti e cantine della zona per completare al meglio il nostro tour gastronomico. Grazie ancora per il buon cibo e la disponibilità, torneremo sicuramente a trovarvi

13/08/2025: It was three relaxing days in an intimate location, meticulously curated down to the smallest detail. Matteo made us feel welcome, and at dinner (with breathtaking views and food) he showed us the wines in a simple and interesting way. The short tour of the winery was lovely, and the pool was a huge plus! Thanks Matteo!

27/07/2025: Che piacevole scoperta ritrovare la Cava aperta dopo anni di chiusura! Ricordi di cene piacevoli con antipasti e primi tradizionali, e come secondo della fantastica carne fatta cuocere sulla pietra ollare a disposizione di ogni tavolo. Il tutto a dei prezzi più che ragionevoli degustando una bella bottiglia della loro cantina. Ricordi, appunto... Ora non è più così. 45€ x un tris di assaggi di antipasti (2 freddi e 1 caldo; quando finisci i primi 2, anche il terzo diventa freddo), un primo (ravioli plin alle erbette, si sentiva solo la rucola) e 1 secondo (guanciotto di maiale, unica cosa veramente buona, ma 40g circa), dolce minimal. Vino a parte, 20€ x un vino di loro produzione venduto in cantina a 10€. Insomma, 110€ x un menù ristretto, dai sapori veramente discutibili e a tratti imbarazzanti, con un servizio gentile ma totalmente incompetente e impreparato. PS. Siete a San Damiano d Asti, non a Montecarlo. Mai più. Viva i ricordi

12/08/2025: This is such an amazing traditional and friendly restaurant. The chef prepared all the food all by himself, he is a one man show, and adapted the meals to suit preferences. The service was sooooooooo lovely. They prepared a special pasta for my 4-year-old daughter. I ordered sword fish and my husband ordered the beef fillet with wine. My aunt ordered the sphaghetti with prawns. The beef is a must try dish. The wine flavour is so rich, so special that I have never tried in my life and I came from a food paradise. We also tried the fried porcini mushrooms and caprese salad, both were intensein flabours and amazing. The entrance of the restaurant was small and might not be appealing. However, this is a restaurant you must try when you are in Turin.

25/08/2025: Amazing dining experience. Been on a road trip with the family from UK and fancied good pasta with great Bread and this place did not disappoint. Authentic tasty home made Italian food. Staff were all amazing and kind. Definitely will recommend this restaurant to everyone. We had a great time

27/08/2025: Amazing restaurant, very friendly and helpful staff an extraordinary food. We went to this restaurant because had a flat-tire on our car a few meters in front of the restaurant. They let us sit in the garden while waiting for the towing service although the restaurant was still closed. The owners were very helpful and friendly and offered us some wine and snacks while waiting. In the end we decided to stay for dinner and it was the best decision. The menu was a aperitivo-style dinner, all home made and freshly cooked with high quality ingredients. The wine list is excellent. Thank you for an unforgettable dinner!

Obviously, we got up and went somewhere else... they should close... plus, my dear friend who worked as a waitress during COVID was never paid... not even when the market resumed its natural cycle... Thieves and incompetents

05/07/2025: This restaurant is just amazing, set in a naturally cool cave, the environment is authentic and rustic. It’s a typically family-run restaurant yet with very high-level cooking skills by chef Francesco. Loved every dish, and you see the chef cooking in front of you in an open kitchen :) The service is attentive and people are genuinely nice. 😊

08/06/2025: Delicious wine shop that offers a variety of excellent wines, not to mention the fantastic Gin Aroma of its own production. You can't miss stopping by if you are passing through Tortona. Furthermore, the food proposals are excellent and of the highest quality. I will always and only return there when I happen to be in those parts again.

27/07/2025: I ordered four gluten-free and lactose-free pizzas: an exorbitant price tag unheard of even in Milan. The pizzas were small, dry, and had very few ingredients or toppings. They were for a small party, and besides overpaying, I made a fool of myself in front of the guests.

02/07/2025: I stopped for a coffee (good) and came out with some exceptional ham focaccias, compliments. The lady behind the counter was great, I'll be back
