Beautiful, modern, and familiar atmosphere. They may not be super professional restaurant owners, but that's precisely why they're genuine and genuine. Absolutely excellent food!!!! The best snails I've ever eaten, even better than the ones in Cherasco. You can tell they have a love and passion for what they do. Lovely, warm-hearted people. I highly recommend it.

We picked out a nearby restaurant with good reviews via Google. Truly excellent in every respect. We have had the best food and drinks of all the restaurants so far, and what super friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Everything homemade!

We stumbled upon it by chance after visiting Govone Castle. We were warmly welcomed, despite the late hour. We realized their specialty was snails when we sat down. My Parisian snails were very happy. My friend, who doesn't like them, enjoyed an excellent tartare and a taste of raw sausage. The tagliolini with sausage ragù were excellent. The icing on the cake were the desserts, all homemade. It was a tough choice... We opted for a strawberry bavarois and a hazelnut cake with zabaglione. We finished with a complimentary liqueur on the house. Recommended for those who love snails or even just good home cooking.

Going to dinner at Gusto lento Bistrot has become a treat we happily indulge in whenever we feel like eating well and having a wonderful evening!
We met Luciana and Franco shortly after moving to Govone, and I must say we feel like family when we're there.
The restaurant is well-kept and offers both traditional Piedmontese cuisine (their specialty is Chicciole, a must-try with a mouth-watering special menu!) and pizza al Tegamino, a pizza you'd be hard-pressed to find better within miles. The soft, melt-in-the-mouth dough is enriched with quality ingredients (among my favorites are the vegetarian version with seasonal vegetables and the sausage).
Tip for true connoisseurs and lovers of the genre: the veal tagliata served on the stone is DIVINE!
