10/04/2026: Disgusting sandwich. Breaded microwave chicken – at least heat it up in an air fryer, then it would be crispy and not so soggy. Disgusting. Waitress friendly. View nice and quiet. The panini, however, was disgusting.

30/03/2026: I was there on Palm Sunday, on the lovely terrace. It wasn't very busy, but the waiter completely ignored me and I wasn't served. I left the restaurant – so I can't comment on the food or drinks, but unfortunately the service was terrible, even though the location is very nice.

22/01/2026: Excellent experience Quick lunch with lasagna and mashed potatoes. Quality, friendliness, and price. I was struck by the smiles that reigned over every employee. Recommended

10/09/2025: Small and cold portions, a while ago the food was better and then not exactly cheap for a self-service.

12/10/2025: Nice and elegant place. Friendly staff, but the prices have definitely gone up too much: €4 for two flavors! The pistachio flavor didn't arrive. The coffee and cheesecake flavors were good.

24/09/2025: The prices are unclear, as a €3.00 cone only includes one scoop, which is very small. The flavors are decent because they're more original than usual. But nowhere is it specified that if you order a small cone, one scoop will fit, and since it's unclear, the customer is told. Never again.

27/03/2026: We stopped for an aperitivo, around noon. We went in: the lady invited us to sit outside and wait for her to take our order. I specified that we were there for a drink; she was keen to clarify that they don't serve food to accompany an aperitivo before 6 pm. I noticed we were the only ones sitting outside; inside, I didn't see any customers. I asked for a draft white beer: it was sold out. She offered me a red. It turned out to be less than mediocre. We asked if they made non-alcoholic fruit cocktails: yes. In fact, they'd serve us a glass with a mixture of industrial Bravo-flavored syrups, and tons of ice cubes. Cost: five euros. We asked if we could at least have some chips with our food: the request seemed difficult to understand. When the drinks arrived, I noticed she'd added an order of chips to the order. I asked her to decline it. Let's just say it didn't seem like a good place for a drink, and they needed to improve their communication and service.

13/01/2026: It exceeded my expectations in every way. The service, the food, it's truly a gem. A TRUE family-run business with enviable quality.

18/01/2026: Terrible experience after ordering a mille-feuille cake without any kind of cream. When I went to pick it up, it was presented to me with cream on the edges and sides. Plus, I discovered that it had been frozen, which for a mille-feuille cake is the final straw. As everyone knows, a mille-feuille cake, when thawed, is no longer crumbly but crumbles and no longer tasty, and the chocolate is watery and therefore inedible. I had to throw it away. And I paid the asking price without receiving what I asked for in return.

14/11/2025: Last week we were invited to an eighteenth birthday party of a very dear friend of mine, a splendid party and an exceptional cake for beauty, creativity, goodness, shame that in the emphasis of the celebrations I did not take a photo but believe me it is truly amazing, I can not wait to do some event to be amazed again..... Well done 🎂🎂🎂

15/04/2026: La Moderna restaurant in Sirmione is ideally located in the beautiful piazza overlooking the lake. The intimate, relaxing atmosphere is well-decorated, and you can also eat outside. The staff is friendly and attentive. We had tortelli and a fish main course, in this case excellent tuna. The wine list is decent, and we had a bottle of Lugana Riserva, Zenegaglia, which was excellent. The ingredients used were good, and the price was in line with other local restaurants. The dessert was also delicious. Parking is easy if you're staying in a hotel in Sirmione, but otherwise... I'll definitely be back.

09/04/2026: Ate here recently with my wife and daughter (my daughter ate her own pre-prepped food due to allergies)-staff were absolutely understanding. We had pizza marinara and tagliatelle Ragu. Dishes were fresh and hot and didn't take too long to come out despite it being pretty busy. Marked down one for atmosphere, there are only two toilets at the back of the restaurant and you walk between a kind of storage area, that bit didn't feel like I was in a restaurant. Other than that id recommend this place and cant understand the negative reviews.

29/03/2025: It used to be my favorite Japanese restaurant, but the last time I was there (last week) I was quite disappointed. The freshness in the dishes that always set them apart from other all-you-can-eat restaurants is gone. It's a shame.

15/04/2026: We sat outside for an aperitivo, which explains the 5-star rating, given that the terrace is in a beautiful, quiet square. A kind young woman took our order (two glasses of bubbly), which was brought to us—plain and simple—by another waiter. We waited patiently for someone to bring us two olives or two chips, and when they didn't arrive, we asked the same young woman if she could bring them. She implied that since she hadn't served us, it wasn't her job. Then a bowl of chips arrived. No menu, in case we'd wanted to try something, nor a price list. Two glasses (the minimum quantity) of Alta Langa and a bowl of chips, €16. There are much better options in the area.

10/12/2025: Truly awful pizza. Extremely dry, poorly topped, and tasteless. I wonder how a pizzeria that serves such bad pizzas can stay open. Worse quality than those served at kebab shops.

27/10/2025: I hate to give bad reviews, but I honestly feel like I'm being taken for a ride. A Milanese woman who, as soon as you cut into a piece of meat, loses the breadcrumbs at €16 (a piece of meat for €16?), and the dessert tasted stale. Lunch total almost €70 for two, for lunch? An appetizer shared between two people and two Milanese pasta dishes with potatoes. I'm really sorry, but I'll never go back, and honestly, I felt ripped off!

25/09/2025: We ate at the trattoria, but we didn't stay at the hotel. The staff was very kind, serving us even after 1:30 PM when other places were already closed. The food was good and reasonably priced. The house wine was good. Parking available.

16/08/2025: Guys, this is an old-school trattoria. The owners are kind but have been working hard for too long. It's a place from the '80s, but it does its job. The food is plentiful and really good. Lunch feels like you're at Grandma's.

12/12/2025: We bought some tajarin for dinner and they were really good. The staff was very friendly. We'll definitely be back.
