We loved that the family cooked for us, preparing Carbonara and Amatriciana, and we noticed they enjoyed the exact same dishes themselves — a sign that we experienced a 100% Italian meal, just like locals do. Thank you! The atmosphere was calm, cozy, and welcoming, and the family was incredibly kind and attentive to every detail. If we ever come back to Turin, we’ll gladly return here for the same authentic traditional experience.

20/10/2025: The manager is delicious and truly special: trust me. Rolls of all kinds, freshly made. The best are the taj. Then the coconut duck and sautéed octopus. The barfi!!! Bottled wine from Terre del Barolo and excellent rose grappa.

16/11/2025: It's a modern bar at the entrance to Castiglione Falletto, a pretty village in the Langhe region worth a visit, if only for the church, castle, and splendid view of the snow-capped Alps. We had lunch there. Since it's primarily a bar, there's not a huge selection of dishes, but traditional Piedmontese fare is present, including vitello tonnato, ravioli del plin, and gnocchi. The special of the day was grilled polenta with sausage ragù; my son had it, and it was truly excellent. Also worth trying is the Piedmontese antipasto. Generous portions, service a bit slow, but it's managed by two young, friendly people, so that's okay. Great place for an aperitivo or a quick, but good-quality lunch. We spent €50 for three, including drinks and coffee.

15/11/2025: I've been going to this restaurant for many years. It's definitely the best in Pinerolo and the surrounding area. It's nothing like the all-you-can-eat restaurants. The food here has a distinctive flavor. The grilled fish is very good. Good value. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

25/10/2025: I'm very sorry because we've been customers for years, but I'm forced to write a negative review because this evening, and for a while now, the quality of the products has significantly deteriorated... the pizza arrived late, as always, and was very dry and poorly topped.

19/08/2025: Dinner at a friend's house: perfect atmosphere, wonderful company, everything was fantastic... until the pizza. We chose "Il Chiacchierone," but calling it a pizza was already an act of generosity. I'm not sure where to begin: The dough was hard and dry, almost inedible. One of the pizzas, with salami, was incredibly salty, almost thirsty at the first bite. The flavor? Flat and unbalanced. The cooking? Hard to tell: I don't know what kind of oven they use, but it felt like the product was poorly cooked and left there. Honestly, even at the worst kebab shop in the world, I've never experienced anything like this. Fortunately, I've never personally ordered from them, and I think it will continue that way. In Nichelino, there are many other good pizzerias where you can eat real pizza, made with passion and skill. --- Final note: A disappointment that clashes with the evening. Pizza should be a moment of joy and conviviality, not an exercise in endurance. I hope they improve, but for now... I'll pass.

09/11/2025: This place has fallen a lot since it started.

05/11/2025: We came in for lunch and were amazed by the dishes on the fixed-price menu. After ordering two first courses, with some difficulty because the waiter spoke broken Italian, we realized our mistake. The linguine with scampi and crabmeat was a pipe dream, the scampi had a questionable flavor, and the crab surimi was a sauce that wasn't classified. The gnocchi with sausage and creamed broccoli were flavorless; I don't even know if there was sausage. Not to mention that the side dish arrived before the pasta and was almost cold (it was cauliflower). The only pass mark was the tiramisu. The music was completely unbearable, too loud. Unfortunately, it was a truly negative experience.

16/11/2025: It was a nice evening, but it was a shame about a young, slightly muscular bartender who rudely asked us to leave a table that was reserved. When he pointed out his rudeness in the way he asked us to leave, he decided to show off by raising his voice, almost as if he wanted to argue. This message is for you: don't do this job if you don't know how to manage your emotions and how to deal with customers. You're ridiculous.

27/07/2025: This is a lovely spot to stop for authentic, delicious, and very reasonably priced coffees, €1.20 for an espresso and €1.50 for a latte. This is a popular local spot, the antithesis of a tourist trap, an authentic, pleasant experience.

16/06/2025: Beautiful location, good service - food was lazy. Just stop for a drink, the pizza and Caesar salad was well below average. Worst pizza I have had in Italy.

12/10/2025: Nice and elegant place. Friendly staff, but the prices have definitely gone up too much: €4 for two flavors! The pistachio flavor didn't arrive. The coffee and cheesecake flavors were good.

24/09/2025: The prices are unclear, as a €3.00 cone only includes one scoop, which is very small. The flavors are decent because they're more original than usual. But nowhere is it specified that if you order a small cone, one scoop will fit, and since it's unclear, the customer is told. Never again.

For me, coffee, green tea, and soy milk! Amazing! Vanessa's professionalism and kindness are unsurpassed. She makes everyone happy: plenty of sweet and savory, well-presented, and with the care that shows passion for her work. The entire staff, including the new managers, is worthy of praise. 09/11/2025: An experience not to be repeated. The place looked promising, but unfortunately they made us change our minds. We waited an hour to order while the guy who seated us continued to take orders and serve the customers who arrived after us. We pointed this out to him, saying that otherwise we would leave, so he finally took our order. Another half hour and not even the drinks arrived, while our neighbors at the table were eating and also shocked by the situation, seeing us with two small children, sitting outside in the cold. We asked again and after a while the drinks arrived, another wait... we lost patience and got up. We went to pay for the wine and water, telling the lady at the counter what had happened, who simply asked us if we had asked and said that she couldn't know everything and made us pay for the drinks because they had already poured. The service and management were SHAMEFUL.

07/12/2025: I arrived at this seemingly nice place, but as soon as they assigned me a seat, I changed my mind. The chairs get stuck in the grates. The service is terrible, the waitresses are very unfriendly. Then I spent 13 euros for a plate of fries with beef steak, and the dish I received was inedible to say the least. Not to mention the wait for the drink.
