13/08/2025: Yesterday I returned to the Derby and experienced the change in management. The service girls began by saying, "We're great at drinks." They brought me the list. Of the drinks invented by the bar, there weren't even two I would have tried. A chapter on the gin and tonic. The worst thing I've ever had!! And it takes a lot to make a mistake with a gin and tonic. They basically served me a lemonade. I asked for gin, which they charged me for, and the taste didn't change. I left it there after paying 12 euros plus the gin. Friends joined us for dinner. My son asked for Fanta, which wasn't available, and got a Sprite, which he left there because he said it was flat. My boyfriend got a Cuba Libre, which was a Coke without rum. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND APERITIF THERE.

18/04/2026: Reservations or not, the wait is always long; you can't wait an hour to eat a pizza. For us, it's a no, never again.

05/09/2025: Excellent bakery in central Turin, with a wide variety of products and high quality. The sales assistants, especially the blonde woman, are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended; I love stopping by whenever I'm in the area.

05/09/2025: Today I stopped by this bakery for the first time and was amazed by the variety and quality of their products. The location is very convenient for people who live in the center of Turin, and the staff is kind and helpful.

22/02/2026: 16 euros for 2 spritz half glasses obviously, together we asked for 2 platters and they brought 1 after 1 hour and a half! We specified that there were 2 another half-hour wait and nothing! After 2 hours we left. All for the modest sum of 28 euros! At the cashier the guy wanted to charge us for 2 platters, when I complained he justified himself by saying that the waiter was young (minimum 30 years old) and couldn't write 2 instead of 1! Pitiful! I obviously don't recommend it

26/03/2026: Nice place. The chef was quite grumpy. One appetizer for two (she said half a lobster, but there wasn't even a claw) - 2 main courses (sea bream fillet with potatoes and John Dory fillet with potatoes) - 1 loose ice cream with berries - 1 miniature portion of Sicilian cassata - 2 coffees - 1 bottle of water and 1 37.5-ounce bottle (half a bottle) of Gewürtraminer = €152.70. The only positive note in all this was the girl who served us, always attentive, kind, and helpful. I think the price was truly excessive and it felt like they were doing us a favor. It's definitely an experience we won't repeat.

26/10/2025: I agree with the previous posts. Excellent seafood cuisine in a quiet setting, a bit hidden for those unfamiliar with Novara. However, I think the prices are a bit high. The open kitchen is good. Good service and an extensive wine list. It's a shame about the high prices...

20/12/2025: During Christmas dinner, we found ourselves crammed into a makeshift inflatable in the courtyard. The lack of safety and food regulations was evident, and common sense was completely absent. We were so crowded together that getting up from the table was practically impossible. The din was unbelievable, amplified by deafening music that made it difficult even to communicate with the person next door. The food, of poor quality, was served almost cold, which further disappointed our expectations. I would, however, like to applaud the waitresses, who were always helpful and kind, despite having to work in this difficult situation. It's not my practice to comment, but enough is enough. I'm not writing this review to hide behind a keyboard, as the owner commented regarding the comments made, but to share my experience with you and hope that the owners will reflect on these aspects.

19/12/2025: There are no words to describe a place like this. We were placed inside an inflatable "bubble," heated by two mushrooms. The noise was deafening! The food was poor quality. The only positive aspect: the kindness of the staff.

04/04/2026: The pastry shop looks good, but the quality is really poor. The pastries are beautiful to look at but tasteless and lack freshness. The cream chantilly is questionable in terms of freshness and is low in sugar. For 40 euros per kilo, I would have expected something better.

26/03/2026: I enter the pastry shop to buy some Baci di Dama. I try one from the display and find it truly delicious. When I ask for €10, I'm offered a pre-packaged bag that I'm assured contains the same fresh Baci di Dama. When I get home, I open one of the two packages I bought and am deeply disappointed because the Baci di Dama are obviously old. I'm giving one star because zero isn't possible.

02/01/2026: Unjustifiably EXPENSIVE bar: 1 soy latte, 1 regular, and 1 small biscuit €8.30. We tried this place today for the first time, but we'll never be returning. I'd like to point out that when we got the receipt, we were asked how we intended to consume (at the counter or at a table), so we immediately assumed it was a mistake when we were told the price, especially since we didn't sit down. The bartenders and cashier confirmed that the price doesn't vary between counter and table, so €3.80 for the soy latte and €3 for the regular one isn't a service charge, but rather the bar's decision to be overpriced, unnecessarily so, given the service and the standard quality of the products. And speaking of service, I applaud the bartender's courtesy and politeness. When I asked for clarification, he addressed my husband like this: "Boss, if you're not happy with it, we'll give you your money back." Excuse me, dear, but who knows you? I suggest a little more respect for the customer. Obviously, not recommended.

30/10/2025: Good breakfast, there's nothing to complain about, but even though the price has increased, for a latte macchiato that costs 3 euros it seems a bit excessive.

06/03/2026: Excellent place in the central square of Moncalieri, you can enjoy simple toasts or dishes of the day, spacious and clean environment and very friendly staff.

17/02/2026: The only thing I have to say about this place is that the best hot chocolate, by a MILE, that I had in Torino was at this place. In fact, it spoiled hot chocolate for me because I'm still trying to find a similar one.

13/04/2026: Highly not recommended!!!!! Terrible service, total disorganization. There were six of us, and we didn't even eat together; everyone was served at different times. Never again... I absolutely don't recommend it.

05/04/2026: As soon as you arrive, they don't even welcome you, and in an arrogant manner, before letting you sit, they ask you to pay for the menu right away! (€50 per person excluding drinks). Once you get to the table, no one pays attention to you! You call a waitress to order a drink and she arrives with a frown written all over her face. Which creates an overall hostile atmosphere! And then, for €50 just for the menu, you expect at least a good variety of quality food, given that at a churrasqueria they don't give you portions but tastings! That said, the buffet was decent to say the least! And the meat was mostly pork, and of poor quality! As for the entertainment, we were expecting some shows with Brazilian music and entertainment, but instead it felt like we were at a water park with 90s dance music (Gigi D'Agostino, Raffaella Carrà, and Ricchi e poveri). I'm sorry, but it was a disappointing evening and I certainly wouldn't recommend it. Above all, I think it's very expensive for what they offer.

22/12/2025: There's only a shadow of the old croissant shop left. The place needs to be completely demolished. The counter, tables, floor, and everything else in the place are completely filthy at 8 AM, not to mention the bathroom, which I don't think can be considered up to code, and what's more, it's unheated in the winter. If you want to experience a nightmare, go there at your own risk. Let's just say it's a nice Salmonella-themed place. As a citizen, I wonder how they get past the health department's inspections.
