18/11/2025: I had breakfast in this place and I had the usual cappuccino and croissants, classic frozen and microwaved, unprofessional staff especially the older woman, she never responds to the customer's greeting even though it is the customer who greets first not to mention the look, perhaps more suitable to work in a morgue than in a bar (shame)

02/11/2025: Aside from the architectural setting, everything else was negative. Starting with the crumpled tablecloths, we continued with a 20-minute wait for a small plate of cold cuts: four slices of raw salami, two of lard, and three of cooked salami. Another 45 minutes for a second course, ordered with the appetizer. We also ordered roast shank with potatoes, and three slices of braised beef arrived on top of a ladle of polenta. Only water, no wine, 70 euros for two. Forget it.

01/11/2025: Since I last stopped here, about four years ago, I've found the atmosphere and food to have deteriorated somewhat, with prices higher than the quality. It's a huge shame to see this business decline in quality like this. I hope it was just a bad day. It will still be a favorite.

07/11/2025: We were warmly welcomed and our food was excellent. The selection of different pizza crusts, including one that's easier to digest and much thinner than the others, is a great option for those with food intolerances. The service was perhaps a little slow, but very friendly.

23/10/2025: A lovely, popular and well-known place, whose signature dish is pizza 🍕. Various doughs, varying in thickness, and a variety of flavors. There are some good alternatives. The desserts are surprising, especially chestnut-based ones, given the season. Worth trying again.

27/10/2025: I'm sorry, but calling this place's pizza awful is still a compliment. Work on the dough; it was a heavy, unripened brick. You have a lot of room for improvement. The service was good, and we ordered pizza for delivery, no problem.

13/07/2025: Ordered 2 pizzas for takeout, 2 portions of farinata, and 1 calzoncini. Ordered at 9pm, arrived earlier than expected. Very kind delivery driver. Very good pizza and farinata, cooked just right and with the right amount of ingredients.

15/11/2025: I've been to Paolo Bistrot several times for both lunch and dinner, both to eat in and take out. Excellent home-cooked food, varied, tasty yet light and easy to digest. The staff pays great attention to their customers and welcomes them with a smile. I particularly enjoyed the gnocchi with tomato sauce, the rice with vegetables, the stewed meatballs, the stuffed cabbage, and the stewed cuttlefish with potatoes and peas. An excellent option near the Mauriziano Umberto I Hospital.

26/08/2025: While I was having breakfast with my girlfriend, the waitress and her friends started chatting about past incidents, presumably involving an African man who had stopped by the bar, constantly using obnoxious terms like "NO" and so on. It's a disgrace that people like that have the opportunity to work with the public; it was a terrible experience, never again. Furthermore, the food was poor quality and stale. Highly discouraged.

08/11/2025: I think it's changed management. The pizza was raw and not risen. The uneatable spaghetti carbonara was just pasta with eggs. The spaghetti amatriciana was tomato pasta with lots of raw onion. We pointed this out, and they said, "What's the problem?" I'll start by saying we paid for everything, but they'll never see us again.

14/12/2025: Everything was very good. Authentic Piedmontese cuisine and impeccable service. Definitely worth a visit.

10/10/2025: I went with a friend of mine for lunch, the next day and the day after we felt very ill, the raw fish and the rice didn't seem to be preserved well, despite this the staff was very polite and the restaurant seemed very quiet

06/09/2025: A very simple but well-kept pub, fantastic value for money. The pizza is good and the price is excellent: two fried foods, two pizzas, and two beers for only €40. The service is also very friendly. There aren't any places like this anymore, we'll definitely be back.

31/08/2025: We enjoyed an excellent, crispy mixed fried fish platter, truly delicious and a generous portion, along with an excellent hamburger with delicious fries. The staff was kind and very attentive! If you want to enjoy a delicious end to a meal, Lele's pastry shop will delight you in an extraordinary way! Recommended!!

28/06/2025: I want to compliment the owner who reports my account and thus deletes the reviews that are not to my liking because maybe they are true... congratulations... At least you are consistent with the quality and professionalism of the ice cream... poor!! I stopped by a few days ago to get a 1 kilo tub of ice cream... I only made one mistake, I should have gone and gotten the sub-brand from any nearby supermarket instead, and it would have been hands down twenty times better. Ice cream that is also sold for its weight in gold, you can't tell the difference between one flavor and another by the taste, the pistachio has a color that alone tells you "eat something else" it seems like it's been in a highlighter factory, the stracciatella looks like fiordilatte since the chocolate is only and exclusively on the surface... congratulations for the excellent work to whoever takes care of the preparation of the ice creams, done with great care and quality ingredients..!.!.!.!. I am willing to bet that the raw materials are quite poor. Speaking of fairly poor raw materials, avoid the spritz...the flavor does not taste like the classic aperol, nor good quality prosecco. Recommended? No
