21/04/2025: Cambiate mestiere o cambiate chef...Pranzo di pasqua rovinato! 40€ di menu fisso come da immagine. Non so neanche da dove cominciare per esprimere il disagio. A parte l'ambiente grigio, buio e con elementi kitsch da discoteca anni 80 e musica assordante da non sentire la persona di fronte..ma passiamo al menù. La "crespella dorata" che, a casa mia, non è una pizza fritta... comunque, una spugna di olio...tra l'altro senza acciuga (come previsto da menù) a nessuno dei commensali. Il vitello tonnato già nero e la fetta di torta pasqualina della dimensione di un dito e sotto completamente cruda. I primi sono stati degni di una mensa da ospedale. Due primi con due salse diverse nello stesso piatto (forse 20 grammi a porzione). Penne scotte, fredde e slavate con un ricordo di carciofi senza sapore...e senza guanciale (anche qui come previsto da menù) ..non solo al mio tavolo ma anche (ho fatto un breve sondaggio) ai tavoli intorno a noi. Le tagliatelle (dure) al ragù di agnello...che probabilmente era scappato prima di finire in padella.. totalmente scondite. Ma il piatto forte è il pezzo di pneumatico che hanno presentato come agnello al forno...asciutto e duro che restava attaccato ai molari.. indescrivibile! La pastiera era l'unica cosa mangiabile. Senza considerare la differenza di porzioni che variava notevolmente da un tavolo all'altro, sicuramente in base alla conoscenza, considerando che i commensali di altri tavoli che chiamavano i camerieri per nome hanno ricevuto un trattamento decisamente migliore. È risaputo che il menù fisso nei giorni festivi è un rischio..ma la proposta di oggi è stata una scorrettezza totale. Né noi né nessuno dei tavoli intorno è rimasto soddisfatto ed è una vergogna fare ristorazione in questo modo. Do una stella solo per i camerieri che sono stati sempre carini, disponibili e sorridenti!

26/12/2024: Abbiamo festeggiato vigilia di Natale e Santo Stefano. Personale e proprietari cordiali e disponibili. Porzioni abbondanti e cibo buonissimo. Locale molto bello esteticamente e grande.

27/01/2025: In viaggio in Piemonte, dopo aver letto svariate recensioni su questo ristorante decidiamo di visitarlo. Arrivati e accolti dal personale da una calda accoglienza in un locale carino e semplice e molto pulito. il cameriere che ci ha servito, con aria saputella ( poco preparato ) ci ha raccontato il menù, abbiamo preso un antipasto ( crudo di pesce ) molto buono, un plin ( porzione mignon ) senza un briciolo di sughetto senza sapore, e due buoni brasati. Al momento del dolce abbiamo optato per un tris di formaggi, dopo aver richiesto un blue cheese assieme ad altri due formaggi, il cameriere sbagliandosi riprende dal nostro piatto un formaggio che ci aveva servito senza che noi lo chiedessimo rimettendolo sul tavolo di servizio con aria strafottente. ( cioè mi riprendi dal piatto una fettina di formaggio già toccata ? ) Una scena raccapricciante!!! Signori, studiate ospitalità, visto lo sbaglio si lascia nel piatto… 1 antipasto 1 primo 2 secondi 1 porzione di formaggi 3 calici di vino 1 acqua Totale 135 euro. Prezzo alto rispetto alla qualità e la quantità dei competitors. Prima e ultima volta.

05/01/2025: Location adeguata , ottima lista dei vini , prezzo elevato ma in linea con le aspettative. Il servizio… si può fare di meglio, essere interrotti in un dialogo ogni 5 minuti perché devi rispondere alla domanda “ tutto bene signori” o perché devi servire il vino , mi sembra eccessivo. In ogni caso positivo

18/05/2025: I had dinner with my husband and son. We ate meatballs with chips, shin with chips and chicken Milanese with chips. Very good food and friendly service. We had a great time.

04/05/2025: Ci siamo fermati per bere una birra ed abbiamo preso un tagliere. Il tagliere da 25 euro presentava 4 fette di formaggio, 5 di pancetta e una dozzina di nocciole, è stato portato sul tavolo senza nemmeno un coltello. Alla richiesta di un coltello x togliere la crosta ci è stata portata una busta di posate (e quello ok). Nessuna tovaglietta o altre posate né tantomeno del pane. Ordinata una coppa di fragole e portata scondita con la bustina di zucchero eventualmente da mettere sopra All’uscita paghiamo 4 coperti…. In definitiva x 2 birre medie, una piccola, 4 bottigliette d’acqua (con 1 solo bicchiere) e un tagliere (con posate x 1), senza effettivi coperti né pane paghiamo 61.50! Assolutamente troppo è una presa x i fondelli….

The pizzas arrived on time but the toppings were completely spilled inside the carton. We had to scoop them up with a spoon to put them back on the pizza. We called the place to report what happened, asking them to be more careful, but the response we got was "I'm messed up at the moment". This doesn't seem like correct behavior to us and it made everything much more unpleasant.

19/03/2025: Bad choice! Purchased some sweets for Father's Day, assuming they were fresh that day, given the festive occasion. Wrong...terrible! The maritozzi with cream were dry as if they had been in the fridge for three days; the raspberry tart was soft and moist inside, as always happens when you keep it in the fridge for several days, even with the raspberries melted by the humidity. Almost double the normal market price. An experience not to be repeated!

23/04/2025: I hope that the guy who took the orders isn't the owner... a rude, grumpy and irreverent person... because if he were, it would mean that he didn't understand anything about what it means to be an entrepreneur. I don't want to go on too long... it's not the first time we have lunch in this place which we like for the furnishings and also for the food even if lately it has become too expensive for our pockets. The lady has always been courteous, but the guy wasn't having his best day yesterday, a really bad performance... and he knows what I'm talking about. I would also like to point out that lately they only want to be paid in cash, citing the fact that the ATM doesn't work... a trivial and redundant excuse. I also had to ask questions about the cover charge... the menu says a price (2.50 per person) they ask for 3 on the non-receipt... well we definitely won't be back... too bad.

23/04/2025: mi auguro che il tizio che ha preso le comande non sia il proprietario... persona scortese, scorbutica e irriverente... perché se così fosse vorrebbe dire che non ha capito niente di cosa significhi fare l'imprenditore. Non voglio dilungarmi troppo...non é la prima volta che pranziamo in questo posto che ci piace per gli arredi e anche per il cibo anche se ultimamente é diventato troppo caro per le nostre tasche. La signora é sempre stata cortese, ma il tizio, ieri, non era nella sua giornata migliore, davvero una brutta performance... e lui sa a cosa mi riferisco. Segnalo inoltre che ultimamente vogliono solo essere pagati in contanti adducendo al fatto che il bancomat non funzioni... scusa banale e ridondante. Ho dovuto fare questioni pure sul coperto...il menù dice un prezzo ( 2.50 a persona) loro ne chiedono 3 sul non-scontrino...bho sicuramente non ci torneremo... peccato

19/04/2025: BY COMPLAINT, SOMEONE MAKE THIS PLACE CLOSE UP. Let's start with the misleading advertising: on the outside it says "cocktail €5", but instead they make you pay €7. I don't expect much from a cocktail at that price, but I don't expect it to be poison either. We order long island and gin lemon. Describing how disgusting these drinks were is not easy, let's say they were vomiting, literally vomiting because a friend of mine got sick shortly after and vomited it. I don't know what the barman put in the cocktail, in fact I went back to ask for information about the ingredients and he replied "in Long Island there is rum, vodka and... What is written on the menu" translated he absolutely didn't know how to do it, in fact he probably had put some ??white wine?? Even the gin lemon, the simplest drink in history, was undrinkable. I had to explain to that troglodyte (whom calling a barman is an insult to all the workers who carry out the art of mixology) the procedure and the ingredients for making Long Island Ice Tea, but I doubt he understood a single word, seeing as he was staring at me with that glassy eye, lost in the void, probably high on who knows what substance, perhaps his own mysterious concoctions that he drinks while listening to that vulgar music blasted at maximum volume that forces the unfortunate customers to shout in his ear to make himself heard. To demonstrate how out of this world that abominable being was, I returned an hour later to ask for some water to bring to my friend who was unwell and seemed to have already forgotten about me. I kindly asked if he could at least offer water since he was the cause of our ailments and with a great act of benevolence he decided to give me a discount and make me pay €1.50 instead of €2.50: THANK YOU, HOW HUMAN YOU ARE. I wish he could read this review, I would suggest he never sets foot behind a counter again, but I doubt the caveman yokel knows how to read. SHAMEx1000

10/04/2025: The sign outside said €5 per cocktail, but for no reason I still had to pay the price on the menu (which was more expensive). I asked why I had to pay more and of course I didn't get a clear answer. It's a shame that incorrect advertising has to be made to ultimately charge the full price.

15/03/2025: Cristallo is exactly where you want to arrive after a long day doing tourist deeds in Torino before you proceed onto your cheaper-than-downtown accommodation — on normal days that is, because it's next to the Torino FC stadium so on match days it should be quite hellish. And there's a market in the mornings which should add to the nice atmosphere. In F&B terms I remember having excellent sandwiches and coffee, and a remarkable antipasto to share with my brother and my friend, with good beer to water all things down. Remarkable means remarkable here ❤️ Service was very good in line with the local temperament, slightly posh but warm and approachable — but they had 'the Argentine that every bar needs' in Matti, who was very helpful taking care of our food and giving us tips to navigate this fascinating city. Of course we'll be back.
