10/04/2025: I ate lunch today and I have to say I strongly advise against this place. Poor quality food, lousy service, and the place smelled awful. The mussels looked awful, the fried calamari was extremely salty and not at all crispy. Bottom line: they'll never see me again. There were three of us, and we practically gave away €78.50.

01/11/2025: Truly excellent pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven as it should be, with a light dough and good-quality ingredients. The flavor is authentic, and you can taste the care taken in the preparation. The only downside is a few minor service issues: a bit of a wait and a few lapses in attention, but nothing serious. The place is welcoming and clean, and the staff is friendly even at peak times. Overall, a good place for a good traditional pizza. We'll definitely return, hoping for a more organized service.

28/10/2025: This is where the restaurant is rated, and it gets an excellent rating. Finally, here too, the history of family cooking is rediscovered. But there's also a focus on new dishes, with a distinctive touch of culinary skill that many trendy restaurants in metropolitan areas forget. The wines (red in the case of our lunch) selected by the restaurateur were all completely satisfying in terms of taste. The need to also cater to vegetarian/vegan guests led to the discovery of delicious flavors, with dishes that, just by looking at them, inspired everyone to try them. And it was all delicious. Ideal for small tables, but for larger groups, it leaves even more room for fun. At very fair prices. Amazing! We'll always return!

14/09/2025: As a truck driver, I will never visit this place again. I went to take a shower. They are looking for my personal documents, a prerequisite for the theft of personal data. Second shower in miserable conditions. No hot water. Doors don't close. Hygiene is zero. Rating: -10. In the comments, I see that a manager wrote that he will fix the problems. Maybe the technicians can't find the button to turn on the water heater, or it's broken and someone stole the money for a new one. There's definitely a theft in this place, and it's a serious theft.

29/07/2025: Viajando con un grupo de 33 personas, cenamos en este atractivo restaurante anoche. Pasando por el comedor principal hacia atrás hay un comedor al aire libre con plantas y arbustos. El servicio fue rápido y eficiente. Empezamos con una ensalada mixta, que tenía muchos trozos de tomate. Lo siguiente fue muy buen risotto de hongos, y una galette de queso y espinacas. Me hubiera gustado tener algo de guarnición en el plato.

20/07/2025: Certo, non sarà il Grand Hotel Et Des Iles Borromees, ma se cercate un buon alberghetto tranquillo, in pieno centro a Stresa, a 3 minuti a piedi dal lago e dall'imbarcadero, con camere essenziali ma pulitissime e perfettamente insonorizzate con bagno con sanitari rinnovati, e letto supercomodo, il Fiorentino fa per voi. Molto gentili il signor Federico e i suoi collaboratori, pronti a soddisfare ogni necessità; convenzionale, ma con prodotti di qualità dolci e salati (veramente ottime le marmellate) la colazione, con bevande calde espresse direttamente dal bar. Prezzo nella norma. Possibilità di usufruire di un ottimo servizio ristorante (che ho già valutato positivamente in passato).

08/11/2025: The buffet, which is already minimal, is an understatement. Potatoes, surimi, and other cheap fare were all we found. The only decent thing was some ribs soaked in a sauce that was practically all sugar. The meat they brought us was nothing special; it was dry and stringy, and in my opinion, no premium cuts. The meat was overcooked, and they were incompetent at cooking it. 50 euros for the menu alone, which didn't satisfy me at all. It was a styleless dump. Of course, you have to add drinks, etc. Unfortunately, I didn't check the reviews before going. Never again.

10/11/2025: The restaurant and pizzeria Il Gallo Verde in Gattico didn't impress me at all in terms of food. On the other hand, the pizza is decent. They should improve the food a little more with the cooking of the pasta, and it's too cooked for my taste. The staff is very kind and friendly, I don't argue about that. Next time I want to try the food again and I'll keep you updated. Enjoy your meal everyone.

28/10/2025: I decided to celebrate my birthday in this pizza restaurant (Saturday evening) The dishes from the kitchen are really excellent. But the pizza is really super. Thin and very easy to digest with great ingredients. Even though there were a lot of people, we were served quickly. Friendly and welcoming staff

07/10/2025: maybe Google will sort out the mess of their own making. Bombay Tandoory exists here, always had done, and it is also called Donar Kebab Hallal. The other premises at Via dei Mille 9, is now a Sri Lankan restaurant

15/08/2025: I'm giving it a 1 because there's no way to give it a zero! I went to this place with my family. We arrived at 8:00 PM and ate at 9:10 PM! We waited over an hour for three plates of ravioli, which were also really bad. The excuse was that they only have one pot to prepare the food... While I'm eating, the waitress comes over: "Are you finished?" She takes my plate, still half full of ravioli, away from me in a second. I'm truly speechless. Obviously, there's no discount at the register. Highly discouraged.

20/08/2025: If they could restore the petanque/bocce courts, it would be a blessing. It's difficult to find, extremely beautiful. Some experience with scopa or all card games is also good. Highly recommended.

27/07/2025: I'm still Veronica Monzeglio but since I've already left a review I can no longer respond. However, this is precisely the problem: you don't answer half of the 4/5 numbers you have (I can say this with certainty because I've called all the numbers several times and among other things, most of the customer complaints are for this reason)!!! If you only had 1 I could still understand, but precisely because you have more! That aside, the problem is not now that you are on holiday (among other things, it's not even specified in the hours because you are open, so one might not know) but it is valid for the whole year because it has always happened! ZERO Organization, I hope for some change for you

27/07/2025: Delivery is always at least 20/30 minutes late from the scheduled time and when you order pizzas by phone they either don't answer or they do so but after trying 15 times (in short, you waste an hour ordering pizzas)... It's a shame because the pizza is good, but I don't think I'll even try to call again!

19/09/2025: This is the place that the locals come - and it shows. Food is great at a great price with excellent, friendly service to match. They were able to accommodate my special needs (veganism) with a pizza without cheese, replacing it with olive oil. You'll find more fancy places near by, but if you just want a great meal, nothing fancy, this is your location. Visited mulipe times during my stay in the area. To any vegans out there: Just ask the staff to replace the cheese with olive oil, it is the way - way better than any vegan cheese option you may dream of which will just dissapoint.

11/07/2025: This pizzeria located in Monesiglio offers excellent pizzas, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The cooking is perfect and the flavor is impeccable. An ideal place for those looking for a tasty, well-prepared pizza. Highly recommended.

29/10/2025: We ordered two simple pizzas with quality ingredients. We weren't disappointed, and the price was reasonable. The wine was good and cost us less than half the price of another restaurant.
