21/07/2025: A great find, fresh fish, generous portions. We were definitely surprised by this restaurant, which didn't promise much, but instead... I'll definitely be back.

02/08/2025: Good evening, I'd like to start by saying this isn't the first time I've ordered from this pizzeria; I've usually had a great experience, both with the food and the staff. Tonight, something went wrong... I called asking for four pizzas and a piadina kebab for 7:30-45 PM, but at 8 PM it still hadn't arrived. So I decided to call them and ask how my order was going, and the girl replied (very worried and agitated) that she had put the delivery boy in the oven... very funny... except that my order arrived at 8:15 PM, with cold pizzas and rubbery dough. Never again...

02/07/2025: We went to this trattoria pizzeria while passing by. We saw many take-away pizzas, a constant coming and going of people. We took meat and fish dishes but we did not find them cared for, indeed very rough. They could do better, perhaps taking care of the raw materials and preparations. The fruit is missing.

23/06/2025: Stopped for a drink after visiting the Canischio with my 92 year old father, the place where his ancestors are from. Some Wonderful residents of the area took us around, explaining the history of the town. We ended our visit at this lovely bar! Friendly staff and patrons!

30/07/2025: A Disappointing Experience Not to Be Repeated My recent visit to Sol Levante Japanese Restaurant was a profound disappointment, far from what a Japanese restaurant should offer. Unfortunately, the experience was fraught with a series of issues that made the meal unpleasant and made me want to never return. The first negative aspect that struck me was the interminable wait. Although the restaurant wasn't overly crowded, we had to wait an inordinate amount of time for our dishes. This unjustified delay contributed to a growing sense of frustration and ruined the evening's mood. But the real sore point was the quality of the food, which fell far short of acceptable standards. The raw fish, a cornerstone of Japanese cuisine, didn't appear fresh. The sashimi was tasteless and had a rubbery texture, suggesting it hadn't been freshly prepared or had been stored improperly. The sushi and nigiri rice was also overcooked and sticky, lacking the expected texture and flavor. The tempura was greasy and heavy, not as crispy and light as they should be, and the flavors overall were flat and undistinguished. The service left much to be desired. The staff was distracted and inattentive to our requests. We had to repeatedly call for attention to order drinks or ask for clarification on the dishes. The lack of friendliness and professionalism contributed to an overall unwelcoming and rushed atmosphere. Finally, the value for money was decidedly unfavorable. Considering the low quality of the dishes and the poor service, the final bill seemed excessively high, in no way justifying the experience. In conclusion, Il Sol Levante proved to be a restaurant to avoid for those seeking an authentic and enjoyable Japanese culinary experience. The excessive wait, the poor quality of the food, and the inadequate service made my visit extremely unsatisfactory. I hope this review can help steer those looking for a good Japanese restaurant elsewhere.

30/08/2025: The bread is excellent quality. You can tell it's made with sourdough starter and it lasts for days if stored well. I also get rice and tomato puree. In short, everything is top-notch.

22/08/2025: Eataitaly in the Langhe! Yes, You'll find the excellence and quality of Italian products. It's a real surprise to find this famous shop and restaurant, just past Alba on the way to Bra, half an hour from Cuneo. You'll find many excellent Italian products and a wide selection of wines and sparkling wines from every region of Italy. Both the restaurant and bar offer a variety of delicious specialties. The staff is professional and friendly. The bakery department is excellent, with superb bread and focaccia. It's worth stopping by at any time of day, whether for breakfast, lunch, a snack, or dinner... any occasion is a good one for a taste experience!

07/06/2025: We had the end of school year dinner with the pizza tour mode... prepared and attentive staff, very beautiful and well-kept location, the pizzas were one better than the other and arrived at the table with perfect timing (in many places the pizza tour makes you wait too long between one pizza and the next) and at the end of the dinner there was also the Nutella pizza... I will be back soon. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

13/05/2025: Unpleasant staff; when I asked for a Red Bull (I want to point out that Red Bull is not alcoholic) one of the bar clerks started making jokes in bad taste about the fact that I was drinking a Red Bull at my age (I'm 14) until she recommended some ALCOHOLIC drinks! Red Bull based (which is completely illegal). In fact, I do not recommend this place because it is not the first time I have heard of certain behaviors in that bar; NOT RECOMMENDED!

22/08/2025: Lured by the menu featuring typical mountain dishes, we sat down. Service was a bit slow; they took 15 minutes to bring the menu (the place is small), and when we raised our hands to ask if we could order, the waiter wasn't exactly kind... Okay, let's move on. The menu doesn't list allergens, and given the limited availability, I couldn't order dishes due to my lactose intolerance. So much for lactose. The tagliatelle were good and homemade, although we could have used a few more porcini mushrooms, which were also fresh and good quality. The polenta with wild boar was very tasty and good. I don't think we'll be back, though, sorry.

03/08/2025: Very large and very good pizza, very kind staff and excellent choice of wines even if unfortunately we didn't have the chance to taste any.

17/07/2025: Paying 16 euros for a spicy salami pizza and a medium beer I'd say no... 2 euros for the cover charge when I was sitting outside is ridiculous... I went there with friends, it's the last time they'll see me, goodbye!
