14/11/2025: I've been there many times for both lunch and dinner. Unlike all the Allyoucan Eats, they have a refined selection of dishes that aren't overwhelming, but rather truly satisfying. Perfect for both dinners with friends and a romantic dinner.

10/11/2025: I went for lunch yesterday and the food was really good. The waiters were courteous and fast. The atmosphere was very nice, nothing to complain about. The food was very good, especially the fresh sushi. You could taste it fresh and good. I hope to return.

19/03/2026: The food was good, and the atmosphere wasn't bad either. There were four of us, but paying €99 per person for two dishes, a dessert, and two bottles of Franciacorta (the price of which was unknown) seemed crazy to me. Never again in my life.

18/03/2026: Wow, I'm absolutely blown away! This is incredible! I had some amazing wine and schnapps for an aperitif, as you can see in the picture. And all for a mere ten euros! You absolutely have to come here!

28/12/2025: Good, but not great. The service wasn't very attentive. As soon as we were seated, there were some nice, and overall good, salamis that we started cutting and tasting. However, the bread and breadsticks that were presented at the beginning of the meal were missing. This didn't go down well with the diners, and not just me. The food was good, home-style. Some dishes were good and enjoyed by almost everyone, while others reminded me of a military canteen. The price was fine, as it was a company dinner paid for by the owner.

10/03/2026: Reluctantly, even though it's not my style, I have to leave a bad review. I showed up at 2:35 PM asking if I could stay for lunch and was told yes, despite being informed they were closing soon. They handed me a Cantonese rice dish of terrible quality, half of it cold and burnt, which I didn't finish. As soon as I put my fork down, a waitress asked me to leave because they were closing. Furthermore, the interior was really poorly maintained, dirty, and with very dated decor. A terrible experience, I won't be returning.

15/03/2025: A lovely evening with Wally Gators and Juda's Kiss. ​​Before the concert, a delicious pizza and draft beer. The venue has a beautiful stage, designed for live music. Excellent acoustics, and a skilled sound engineer. A casual spot for a lovely evening with friends and good, strictly live music. Very easy to get to, with plenty of parking.

14/02/2025: We went for dinner on a Friday night to see the band MalaMente. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and professional. I had the ganassino with mashed potatoes, which was delicious. The pizza was also good and easy to digest. Great music and fun. Recommended.

03/01/2026: The Norman cubo, a thin brioche with pistachio cream, is simple and delicious. Coffee is served with a small glass of sparkling water. A little away from the crowds, it's a lovely spot for a snack.

16/12/2025: About 8 months ago a group of us had our monthly meeting at this particular cafe. The ratings are from that visit. In general we found a philosophical disconnect. The service and prices seemed to target high end customers while at least the café offerings (not meals) and the decor were reminiscent of Las Vegas casinos. At the same time, the customers who were there when we visited were few and were all demonstrable working class locals or tourists. --- Coming forward to 15/12/25: We had noted some paper signs on the windows and the fact that this landmark was closed about 2 months ago. In fact it was closed on September 10, 2025. Today, finally one of us had a chance to pass by on foot. The photos are from this visit. It was still closed. According to the sign the café is in police custody. According to local news reports there's an ongoing investigation into fraud, perhaps to the tune of up to 100 million euros. Sometimes businesses come back after this kind of scrutiny and sometimes not.

03/10/2025: A restaurant in the historic center of Ovada The staff were friendly, though "very direct." The "standard" aperitifs (as our server described them) were excellent, with no platters, and the prices were very reasonable. We went there with friends on market day, so while sitting pleasantly outside, we saw the most authentic Ovada passing before us.

07/04/2026: Very quiet location, full breakfast with good local products, very welcoming host. We stayed there because it was close to the Skydream Centre, a place we will definitely return to.

16/02/2026: Very friendly host, good food, clean rooms and a bike wash and big tent for working and storing bikes. Great experience overall.

02/02/2026: Small bar, excellent coffee, friendly sales assistant and good service, lots of chatty old people sitting around who don't know how to pass the time. I'll definitely be back.

11/01/2026: GIORGIO IS THE BEST BAR IN JOLANDA! THERE'S NO COMPETITION!!!
