31/05/2025: Terrible service, (tried several times...) the courses are brought alternately, basically one diner eats and the other watches, then vice versa. I am referring to a table always composed of two people not twenty. In the same evening I reported the mix-up several times and the annoyed owner replied that you have to ask when ordering to be able to receive the courses together. No comment!

31/07/2025: A big thank you to Mrs. Daniela. Despite our mistake in the booking, which was neither changeable nor cancelable, she was able to accommodate us, which was unexpected. The hotel did not disappoint. The small spa provides a welcome touch of relaxation after the excursion, and finding a lit heart in the room as soon as you enter creates a romantic atmosphere. The details make all the difference. Thank you all.

24/05/2025: Gran peccato! Delusione totale! A partire dal servizio che è stato poco professionale, lunga attesa per quattro piatti in croce quando c'era il locale quasi vuoto e soprattutto al freddo. Il coperto di 2,50 euro per tovaglia e tovaglioli di carta.Rapporto qualità prezzo molto scarso: carne tiepida,asciutta e la cottura sbagliata. Abbiamo chiesto un contorno diverso da quello stabilito da loro e hanno fatto pagare 5 euro due foglie di insalata perché considerate ulteriore contorno. Piatti descritti nel menù inferiori alle aspettative: vedi quattro tocchetti di pancetta fatti passare x pancia di maialetto. Oppure anelli di cipolla surgelati in un panino da quasi 20 euro. Non torneremo!

24/08/2025: We had dinner for two in August. Two veal with tuna sauce, a mixed fried fish, and pasta with clams for €83 (with just a bottle of water). The problem, besides the prices, is the quality of the food: the veal with tuna sauce tastes like the one you get at the supermarket, the pasta with clams is washed out, and the fried lake fish is full of fish bones and inedible. The service is impersonal. The only redeeming feature is the lake view, which is lovely. Highly not recommended; don't go!

08/09/2025: A truly terrible experience. We arrived at 1:00 PM and stood in the first line for about half an hour, until 1:25 PM. Then, to get a simple sandwich, we had to stand in a second line (another half an hour), and we didn't get our turn until 2:00 PM. A whole hour wasted in two lines for sandwiches! The surprise? Of the two sandwiches I'd chosen, one wasn't even available, so I calmly chose to get another one, but politely asked for the price difference since the one I'd originally chosen was more expensive. They sent me back to the cashier, and when I asked for the difference, the employee in charge looked at me with disdain, as if it were my fault and not theirs for not communicating with the cashier and sandwich management. The most absurd thing is the total disorganization: at lunchtime, in a place that knows full well it's the only one open in Bardonecchia (in September, almost everything else was closed), there was a guy alone making sandwiches, while the lines became endless. Only after a while did a girl start helping him, but by then the situation was unmanageable. A real shame, because the place looks promising and could potentially even be pleasant: certainly, in a quieter environment, it wouldn't deserve such a negative review.

07/09/2025: Wonderful! Surrounded by greenery, perfect for a relaxing lunch on a day of pure indulgence, without too many frills. Excellent food (polenta sticks with gorgonzola and delicious fettuccine with ragù!) Fast service (a bit of a wait for a table, but without a reservation on a Sunday lunch, what can you expect?) and a kind, friendly, and helpful owner... after lunch, he even let us sit on the loungers in the sun to end the day in style! He's definitely found some new loyal customers! Federica and Denise will be back!! :-) Highly recommended.
