22/08/2025: The Parco delle Rovere is located at the end of the Cervo Valley in the village of Piedicavallo, a green space alongside the Cervo River, perfect for picnics or relaxing on hot summer days. There's a large parking lot for those visiting the valley for the many hikes available. Several trails depart from the park to various refuges; to the Vecchia Lake, Rivetti, Madonna degli Angeli, and Gragliasca. There's also a kiosk that recently changed management and is worth a stop for its friendly service, reasonable prices, and beautiful scenery. It's a popular spot from June to September during hot weather.

21/10/2025: We discovered this restaurant on Sunday for lunch after a long walk from Bardonecchia. A very pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, and simple, flavorful cuisine. We'll definitely be back!

13/09/2025: The aperitif was paltry: 7.99 for a drink and a mixed plate, the sign says, but if you order two because you're a couple, the drink is double, but the main course is still one, and it's paltry, too. You'd expect minimal variety with the mixed plate, but instead you get a plate full of supermarket-quality tortillas to dip in tomato salsa, four equally mediocre onion rings, and four tiny pieces of plain quesadilla.

13/05/2025: It often happens that I come to this pizzeria especially on Sunday evenings when by tradition my friends and I organize a pizza together. The pizzeria La Lucina is one of my favorites. The pizza is excellent and the service is always up to par. The place is welcoming, simple but very clean and I always feel at home. I recommend it to those who love pizza, evenings with friends in a relaxing environment.

01/08/2025: On our wedding day, everything was perfect, even the fake cake: beautiful, romantic, just how we dreamed it would be. It made the atmosphere even more magical. Then there was the real one... an explosion of flavor! Soft, with just the right amount of sweetness and a delicious cream. Everyone loved it, and some even came back for more. 18/10/2025: An experience with potential, including a welcoming atmosphere and room for improvement Agriturismo Al Cerro, located in the quiet hamlet of Strambino, offers a relaxing atmosphere and a large outdoor space, ideal for families with children. The spacious parking lot and soccer field are certainly strong points. However, some aspects of the service could be improved. The initial wait for the order was a bit long, and the lack of bread and water at the table upon arrival is a shortcoming that should be addressed, as these are essential elements of a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was nevertheless friendly and helpful, and the drinks and pizzas arrived in a reasonable time. The pizzas, though thin, were a bit overcooked for my taste. The tagliata, which I ordered, was the sore point of the meal. The portion, in my opinion, was small for the €18 price tag, and the meat, served on a cold plate, went cold quickly. I would suggest reviewing the portions and serving the tagliata on a hot plate to maintain the temperature. Another area that could be improved is the bathroom lighting, which automatically turns off due to external motion sensors, creating discomfort. Despite these negatives, the owner's hospitality and friendliness were greatly appreciated. In summary: Pros: Ample parking and outdoor space with a children's play area. Friendly and helpful staff. Warm welcome from the owner. Cons: Initial wait times were a bit long. No bread and water at the table upon arrival. Pizzas were a bit overcooked. Small portion of tagliata served on a cold plate. Problematic bathroom lighting. Recommendations for the venue: Ensure that bread and water are always available at the table when guests arrive. Pay more attention to pizza cooking. Review the portions and presentation of the steak. Fix the bathroom lighting issue.
