17/07/2025: Fast and friendly service. After a long hike from the mountains, the smell of pizza is truly inviting. Clean. If you're not fussy about food, overall it's not bad. But the pizza wasn't Italian; the dough was dry and tasted more like breadsticks than yeast.

12/03/2025: A place we found by chance and where three of us stopped for a quick breakfast. The light but extremely inviting scent that made its way between our nostrils authoritatively close to lunchtime was also impeccable. Thanks to the need to go to the local Court, we were not in a position to try a cuisine that was certainly up to the level of the aromas perceived. Smiles and kindness are also elements worthy of being underlined.

15/04/2025: An experience with potential, between hospitality and room for improvement The Agriturismo Al Cerro, located in the quiet hamlet of Strambino, offers a relaxing atmosphere and a large outdoor space, ideal for families with children. The spacious car park and the football pitch are certainly strong points. However, some aspects of the service could be improved. The initial wait for the order was a bit long and the absence of bread and water at the table upon arrival is a lack that should be filled, as they are fundamental elements for the welcome. The staff are however friendly and helpful, and the drinks and pizzas arrived in a reasonable time. The pizzas, although thin, were a little overcooked for my tastes. The tagliatelle, which I ordered, was the sore point of the meal. The portion, in my opinion, was small for the price of €18 and the meat, served on a cold plate, cooled quickly. I would suggest reviewing the portions and serving the cut on a hot plate to maintain the temperature. Another aspect to improve is the lighting in the bathrooms, which turns off automatically due to external motion sensors, creating discomfort. Despite these negative aspects, the owner's welcome and friendliness were much appreciated. In summary: Pros: Ample parking and outdoor space with children's play area. Friendly and helpful staff. Warm welcome from the owner. Defects: Initial waiting times a little long. Absence of bread and water at the table upon arrival. Pizzas a little overcooked. Small cut portion and served on a cold plate. Problematic bathroom lighting. Tips for the venue: Make sure bread and water are always present at the table when guests arrive. Pay more attention when cooking pizzas. Review the portions and presentation of the cut. Solve the bathroom lighting problem.

02/08/2025: As a traveller I had my first coffee in Turin here... and it was an experience SO PLEASANT that I am definitely returning to this city and this caffè. The staff was SO KIND and welcoming, and the food was excellent. Simply a wonderful place to enjoy a cup of coffee with friends.

30/07/2025: I ordered takeout with a friend. The staff was very kind and accommodating, even though it was peak time. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the portions were adequate/generous, so much so that we had some leftovers to eat the next day, which were still very good. (Here's what we ordered: chicken curry, sweet and sour chicken, chicken and vegetable spaghetti, and the coconut dessert.)

Special thanks to Riccardo, who looked after us all evening with expertise and kindness, and who even helped us give a group of Canadian friends the best advice by explaining the main dishes in English! Truly brilliant!

31/07/2025: I returned to the Hosteria after a while, and I must say that both the quality and the atmosphere are still the same as I fondly remembered. I ate one of their summer classics, the "Fassona Surprise," a mountain of homemade #roastbeef on a bed of cherry tomatoes, Taggiasca olives, and arugula—truly delicious. I drank an excellent Poretti 6luppoli beer and relaxed in the very comfortable atmosphere. I recommend it to anyone who loves good meat and delicious dishes.

09/08/2025: A nice place to spend happy hours.

23/07/2025: We stayed one night at this beautiful agriturismo, which is reached after a stretch of unpaved, rocky uphill road (not the best for motorbikers like us, but it can be done). You reach the agriturismo, which seems like an enchanted place with wooden sculptures, tables, and chairs overlooking the hill below and the mountains in front. They also offer horseback excursions, which is their strong point (besides the restaurant). We were welcomed by Aurora with kindness and friendliness and slept in the Stella room (very nice, huge bathroom, perhaps a little dark during the day, but it's more than enough for sleeping). At 8:00 pm, the aperitif begins (and what an aperitif!!!!). We eat and drink as if there were no tomorrow. Then we sit down in the dining room and off we go, two more appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, and by then we had given up on the generous portions. We didn't even make it to dessert!!! A bottle of Nebbiolo and goodnight everyone! In the morning, we woke up to a simple but genuine breakfast. Thank you so much! We would recommend it and return to anyone like us who is on a motorbike towards the French Alps and wants to stop off after a day of travel.

07/07/2025: I went to dinner with some friends, there were 4 of us... the restaurant was empty on a Friday night... the service was very slow and not very precise. We ordered tajerin and agnolotti with roast ragù and they were very salty, the fillet was burnt, the dessert had a very compelling description but then we got a tart that looked like the one from Esselunga. The only good thing was the wine except for how they served us. The bill was not proportionate to what we ate and how they served us.

08/06/2025: Arrived in Piedmont, Calosso on Thursday 5 June 2025. In the evening we went to eat with friends at Restaurant Ca’Rapulin. What a beautiful location and a breathtaking view. Excellent food. Surprising menu with delicious dishes and carefully selected matching wines from the region. Worth it. There is also a hotel. Recommended. Friendly service. Top experience.

22/07/2025: We ordered four pizzas, and we simply asked for them to be a little thinner (same panella, just rolled out more). They charged us a supplement of €2 per pizza (not specified on the menu, nor did they explain the reason: the wider the pizza, the more toppings we need). The problem is that the pizza had no toppings (most of it was dry, precisely because there was no extra toppings). The pizza was good, for goodness' sake. But €2 more per pizza, especially a Margherita... seems a bit excessive! The waitress was very kind, however.
