We had dinner with friends and had a great time. The place is very cute, and the food is generous and carefully prepared. The cutlet is huge and doesn't fit on the plate!

Just steps from Novara's city center, Hostaria offers a comprehensive menu from which you can order the most delicious dish for your taste buds. Generous portions and beautifully presented dishes. Prices are average, not exactly cheap, but the quality/price ratio seems spot on.

A very nice family-run restaurant (I believe) with very good dishes, especially meat dishes. The prices are a little high, but the taste is worth it, and the ingredients are definitely very fresh. The desserts are also good.

Nice place, I'd say beautiful, fairly close to the center. Good food. Average prices (but not cheap). Quick service. Recommended.

Family dinner at this truly charming place, with attentive and extremely polite staff. The Milanese cutlet was delicious. I recommend it for a quiet and pleasant evening.

24/02/2026: There was a fixed menu for €13, but we opted for the a la carte menu. Disappointed with the appetizer, cured meats, and cheeses for €9, perhaps it was right not to expect more... the sore point for me was her majesty the paniscia! It was just a creamy risotto with beans, that's all! The great chef expects it and prepares it this way, but life isn't a paniscia. You can drink it à la carte.
14/02/2026: The service and food are truly excellent. The chef's risottos are out of this world. We've tried several dishes, and they've always been top-notch. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, almost like being at home. Highly recommended.
