03/07/2025: Please cook something else, because crepes are not edible. I ate one that looked like a cracker because of its consistency. Even with little seasoning. At that price!!!!! Never again, for goodness sake.

03/07/2025: The best bar/cafe in Saluzzo! A little hidden away, it's also a bit quieter, and only 10 steps from the main square. The decor and the restrooms are worth stopping by, and once you're there, just ask Simone what wine she recommends and then just enjoy until 3 a.m.

18/02/2025: Completamente delusa dalla torta di compleanno che avevo ordinato. Pochissima crema, la sfoglia praticamente asciutta, secca, in compenso solo panna. Non tornerò.

28/01/2025: Unfortunately I find myself having to give a negative review. We ordered a birthday cake which was supposed to be a puff pastry base, with chantilly cream and chocolate. Not even a hint of Chantilly cream. Only cream, and a little chocolate. The pastry remained completely dry, separated from the creams. The creams (or rather, the cream and that little chocolate) were small. In short, we honestly expected much better and we were completely disappointed. A real shame!

17/06/2025: A bit small, but in my opinion the best Chinese restaurant in Asti! Slightly more expensive than other Chinese restaurants, but absolutely worth it! Absolutely not heavy and not greasy, as often happens in other Chinese restaurants, with traditional Chinese dishes (not the classic "Westernized" dishes). Also many vegetarian and vegan options.

16/05/2025: Pranzo di Pasqua 2025, con la mia famiglia in 7 persone, abbiamo prenotato per la prima volta con molto ritardo visto il periodo dopo avere effettuato una ricerca internet, parlato direttamente con il proprietario, gentilissimo e squisito, ha confermato il giorno dopo. Locale molto pulito e accogliente, in una cornice Monferrina spettacolare, personale molto preparato e competente, servizio impeccabile e disinvolto, atmosfera sobria e serena, cibo alla piemontese con menù variegato con prodotti quasi esclusivamente a chilometro zero. Tempi di attesa e svolgimento del pranzo degni di un ristorante di alto livello, vini eccellenti. Prezzo a persona 45 euro tutto compreso, praticamente un regalo! Ringrazio veramente il proprietario e tutto il personale, complimenti a tutti! Sicuramente CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!

05/05/2025: Locale molto alla buona in mezzo alle colline, bella posizione posteggio privato, buona scelta di menu con piatti principalmente tipici piemontesi, porzioni abbondanti e ben cucinate, molto buone, vino della casa da pasto, in bottiglia qualità prezzo molto valida !! Le persone di sala cortesi, unica pecca i tempi di attesa un tantino lunghi, a locale pieno al 60 % non ma eravamo in giro per gita di piacere senza fretta.

19/05/2025: Abbiamo prenotato sul posto questo ristorante, La signora che ci ha preso la prenotazione ci ha confermato la disponibilità. Siamo tornati all’ora con lei convenuta e siamo entrati nel ristorante. Dopo 10 minuti la signora, pur avendoci visto, non ci ha degnato di uno sguardo. Quando mi sono rivolta a lei per dirle che avevamo una prenotazione, mi ha risposto “un attimino”. Dopo mezz’ora di attesa, questo “attimino” non era ancora passato e la signora continuava ad ignorarci. Altri due camerieri erano presenti e il loro atteggiamento era lo stesso della signora. Ce ne siamo andati sconfortati e delusi e ovviamente non torneremo mai più. Veramente inqualificabili, per nulla professionali e per niente educati! Consigliamo a chi volesse visitare il Lago delle Fate di pranzare altrove o di portarsi la colazione al sacco!

02/05/2025: Pranzo pessimo, La polenta immangiabile per il retrogusto amaro poiché era stata bruciata, lo spezzatino salatissimo e nel piatto di gnocchi al ragu abbiamo trovato un capello. La loro fortuna è la posizione.. La cosa che fa arrabbiare è che capita di bruciare una polenta ma non essendo una preparazione che richiede molto tempo poteva essere rifatta visto che andava servita anche a dei bambini! Peccato

16/05/2025: Cenare al Il Cavallino è sempre un’esperienza gratificante; non è solo cenare in un bel ristorante gustando un buon cibo, ma sperimentare un’avventura enogastronomica unica, guidati dalla maestria dello chef Stefano e dalla professionalità del maître Giuseppe. L’accuratezza nella presentazione dei piatti, la ricerca degli abbinamenti, la qualità delle materie prime, l’ abbinamento dei vini… senza dimenticare il pane, che è molto di più. Cosa dire? Il Cavallino è sempre una certezza. 👏

02/08/2025: We went on the recommendation of acquaintances. Personally, I like well-rolled, thin-crust pizza, so I found the dough to be excellent and, above all, light—not the kind of chewy, thick pizza that lingers in your stomach all night. I also appreciated that when booking online, they pay close attention to allergies and intolerances. The staff was smiling and courteous, very attentive and kind to guests' requests. I tried the philotes pizza, highly recommended for those who love sweet and sour flavors. If I'm in the area again, I wouldn't rule out returning.

09/08/2025: It's rapidly going downhill, it's a shame it used to be my favorite place but lately it's getting worse, they recycle bread from other tables, rotten and smelly fish not to mention the "grilled potion" you can't even distinguish the flavors anymore it's a mix of burnt taste gone bad, spring rolls soaked in oil and chestnuts, I don't know, I'm really sorry it was a point of reference for me, I don't know what has changed

29/06/2025: We went to Pizzeria Le Due Torri in Gattinara as a group of four with some dear friends and unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. We ordered two margherita pizzas and another pizza from the restaurant (two for €6 and one for €8), two sparkling waters and a small beer for €2.50, but we were presented with a bill of €60. Only at the end of the evening were we told that the total price would be divided per person because "we were in company", a detail that was not disclosed to us when booking and ordering... In addition to the excessive and not very transparent bill, the quality of the pizza left much to be desired: burnt, bitter and excessively salty. The evening was still very pleasant thanks to our friends, but next time we will go somewhere else. I hope that the restaurant can review its approach to transparency and quality, because hospitality and fairness towards customers are fundamental.
