24/05/2025: Was expecting a nice setting and delicious food considering came to see Fontanafreda and read about food on reviews. Unfortunately food was average. Just did not compare to all the great food we had in Barolo region. Taste was so so. The place looks like a large coffee shop in a big hotel and considering we are in the middle of vineyards it’s totally indoors with no views. Quite disappointed. The service was friendly.

Ampia sala.
Menù non ampio.
Buon il vitello tonnato e il brasato.
Pessimo il vino scelto (un Barbera, mal di testa tutta la notte).
Bene il servizio.

22/07/2025: The pizza lost two stars. Another observation: waiters with nose piercings are absolutely not welcome. I'm sorry but I don't find it hygienic or professional at all.

20/07/2025: A magical, heart-warming place! Open until 9:30 PM, it welcomes lovers of life and avid card players. Tables, stools, and large tables for celebrating and socializing. Wine, ice cream, chips galore...taralli, and plenty of friendship. Breakfast and lunch are also available, with indoor and outdoor tables. A library is available. Spectacular views, and parking is available everywhere.
20/04/2025: I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his customer friends. Extraordinary and welcoming people to the point that they helped me reach my destination despite the bad weather. Rest stop and beacon of salvation. I hope to return soon!

I also have a business and I know well how much effort and patience it takes!!! Congratulations indeed
14/06/2025: My experience at this bar was disappointing to say the least due to the extremely slow and inattentive service. I waited a good 30 minutes just to order a water, which by the way never arrived.

22/06/2025: Good pizza and friendly staff, but terrible service: ordered take-away pizzas for 7:30 pm, arrived at the pizzeria and was told that they would be made immediately... after ONE HOUR of waiting at the pizzeria they still weren't there...

Correct price (€28 for 2 people with 1 complete menu, 1 second course with side dish, 2 water and 1/2L of wine, 1 coffee)
