I went on a Sunday and was offered two menus, one meat and one fish, for €20 and €25 respectively, including water, wine, dessert, and coffee.
The food quality is acceptable considering the prices.
I'm celiac, and they offered alternative dishes.

The internal parking is definitely an added value, as is the smile of the waitresses; the furnishings, especially on the outdoor veranda, however, leave a little to be desired

Posto all’inizio di strada del traforo del Pino, nei
pressi della stazione di partenza della ferrovia per Sassi, il locale, spartano come si addice ad una bocciofila, offre una cucina prevalentemente piemontese adeguata alle aspettative e all’esborso.
Comfort acustico, tenendo presente la scarsa affluenza di avventori, di buon livello.
Noi abbiamo ordinato: tomini al verde, un antipasto sabaudo, abbondante e di discreta qualità (solo il vitello tonnato lo avrei preferito con una salsa un po’ più gustosa), una bistecca impanata sottile e ben cotta ed una bistecca alla valdostana, seppur difforme dalla ricetta tradizionale, gradevole.
Carta dei vini, comprensibilmente, ridotta.
Servizio cortese e abbastanza rapido, almeno nella serata del giovedì della nostra cena.
Se badate al sodo e volete cenare a buon prezzo, è un posto da tenere presente.
Conto abbastanza economico, in considerazione anche delle porzioni.

We are now on our fourth visit to Castello di Montecavallo, and each time it is an unforgettable experience. We chose to celebrate my birthday here and, as always, everything was perfect.
The castle is a magical place, cared for down to the smallest details and managed with passion. Martina is an extraordinary hostess: she welcomes you with a smile and tells the story and the work behind each glass with contagious passion. The wine, needless to say, is simply incredible — each tasting is a journey through authentic aromas and flavors.
This time we wanted to complete the experience by sleeping a night in the B&B inside the estate. The rooms are large, elegantly furnished and perfectly in tune with the beauty of the place. The view of the greenery is picture-postcard, everything is kept with a care that can be felt everywhere.
In the morning we were greeted by a dream breakfast, prepared by Erica, who with sweetness and attention makes you start the day with a smile and many delights.
In summary? A place of the soul, where you can always return. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, excellent drinks, and a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere with the option to watch all the sporting events on TV (including soccer). The quality/price ratio is more than good. The only downside, though, is the wait for food, which can be a bit long at times.
