05/10/2025: For those of us who live off pizza, I couldn't have found better. I had dinner with my wife and three-year-old son. The pizzeria is small but welcoming and family-friendly. Those few tables conveyed a sense of serenity, courtesy, customer care, and love for the work each member of staff does. The menu is varied and spoiled for choice. Despite the takeout option, the service was impeccable, and our orders arrived shortly thereafter. My wife and I had a SUPERB appetizer of montanarine, dry fried pizzas topped with top-quality ingredients that were a thrill just looking at them. My three-year-old son had a splendid Margherita. Our pizzas, a Bufala and a Reginella calzone, arrived later. The dough was soft and melt-in-the-mouth, perfectly rolled out. Impeccably cooked, and the ingredients, such as fior di latte and buffalo mozzarella, are sometimes unheard of in Naples. TOP. It's a shame we're just passing through, but it will remain one of my favorites if I ever return.

20/10/2025: The owner and the entire staff were incredibly nice. The hotel's location is simply fantastic. With the slightly cooler temperatures, the room was very cold because the windows weren't airtight. Breakfast was good, but not great. Overall, I can recommend the hotel.

29/09/2025: The hotel is a little gem, with lovely courtyards and a beautifully furnished lower level. However, the rooms are very noisy. I felt like my neighbor's toilet was right next to my head. The rooms should be better soundproofed. The service is excellent; very friendly, helpful, and generous.

27/08/2025: I visited La Darbia for lunch. The place is stunning, nestled in nature, with breathtaking views over Lake Orta. The style blends perfectly with the surroundings. The food is made with top-quality ingredients, and the vegetables come from the on-site garden, which you can even see while dining. You can opt for a 5-course tasting menu, with the option to add the chef's signature dishes (around €100 each, portions for two). We went à la carte. The quality and taste of the dishes are undeniably high, but the portions are quite small. So either keep the prices with larger portions, or lower the prices while keeping the dishes small, allowing you to try more items; at the moment, they feel more like “bites” than full courses. Aside from this, the place is absolutely worth a visit: both the food and the view make the trip worthwhile—maybe next time staying in one of the suites for the full experience. Let me start by saying that I was here for lunch and did not stay at the hotel. The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature, with a breathtaking view of Lake Orta. The style blends perfectly with the surrounding environment. The food uses the highest quality ingredients, and the vegetables come from the garden, which is visible even while you eat. You can choose a five-course tasting menu, with the option of adding the chef's signature dishes (about €100 each, portions for two). We opted for the à la carte option. The quality and flavor of the dishes are unquestionable, truly top-notch, but the portions are too small, especially considering they aren't part of the tasting menu but were chosen à la carte. So either they maintain these prices with larger portions, or they lower the prices by keeping the dishes small so you can also try other dishes; for now, we can consider them more like "bites" than actual courses. This detail aside, the place is definitely worth a visit: the quality and view are worth the trip, perhaps in the future staying in one of the suites to enjoy the full experience.

25/08/2025: Not worth the price. The chef’s tasting menu consisted only of vegetarian dishes, save for the last dish of the night. That’s great if you like vegetarian food, not so if you’re a meat eater, also not so for the price. The cocktails were superb. Everything else was just okay - lacking in depth. Food aside, the service was lovely (the blankets provided were divine) and the setting was beautiful. Would I go back? Maybe but stay away from the chef’s table - it’s was not worth it in our minds.

25/09/2025: A welcoming restaurant in the heart of the historic center. Refined and intimate atmosphere. Delicious food where the chef's skill meets quality ingredients. The Russian salad served as a welcome appetizer is nothing short of a masterpiece! Highly recommended!

21/10/2025: Too bad the Terminus restaurant is closed today. I wanted to try the Meridiana. The worst, most disappointing, worst experience of my life. The worst restaurant I've ever visited. We had 2 seafood appetizers. At first glance, they looked like 2 dirty plates, with 5 stains. I thought, if it costs 18 euros, it must surely be delicious. Instead, I had to ask: the salt, lemon, oil, pepper, basically, were not seasoned or spiced, it tasted of nothing. In fact, it disgusted me and I wanted to throw up. How is it possible that it is in the Michelin guide????? LET'S THINK ABOUT IT TOGETHER. My rating is 0.00

22/09/2025: I was at Grande Oriente for the first time and I have to say I was very pleased. It's a welcoming place, with a lively atmosphere, and the owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. There's a great atmosphere, and you immediately feel at ease. My compliments to the staff: I'll definitely be back. I recommend this place to everyone!
