26/10/2025: Lovely place and great pizza! Child friendly, good choice and good prices. The serving staff were very friendly. The restaurant is closed during low season which runs from November until some time in March so worth checking if you are visiting over the colder months.

18/11/2025: Il Caminetto is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Cabras. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, with attentive and always smiling service that makes you feel truly welcome. The dishes are a tribute to Sardinian tradition, prepared with the freshest ingredients and expertly presented. The fish is extraordinary: authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and generous portions. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in presenting each dish and the chef's ability to enhance the flavors without ever weighing you down. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. I highly recommend Il Caminetto to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable gastronomic experience in Cabras. I will definitely be back!

10/11/2025: We chose it because it has eels on the menu and were satisfied. There were eight of us and we were greeted kindly and cheerfully. Everything was delicious, well-cooked, and plentiful. We ordered something extra, and in fact, we had two mixed fried fish and calamari left over, which we asked to take away. Smiling and joking, the waiter echoed our joke: "Nothing goes to waste," and added that they used to have people to whom they gave the leftovers of customers who knocked in the morning asking for them, but now the customers ask for them too... This bitter joke doesn't detract from the quality of the restaurant: excellent table linens, cleanliness, and everything was excellent. 14/11/2025: In a completely closed-off San Teodoro, I found this little restaurant, and it was a great experience. The culurgiones were excellent, with a tomato sauce that was clearly from the garden. The desserts were also homemade. The owner was very friendly and kind. Highly recommended.

06/11/2025: We had lunch on Wednesday for my mother-in-law's birthday. The place is rustic, no frills, but still impressive. You go to a place like this to eat excellent fresh fish. You eat whatever's available: octopus with potatoes, bites, mussels, and grilled and fried fish—all delicious. Unfortunately, I couldn't have the burrida because I'm allergic to nuts, but I made up for it with the rest. Congratulations!

05/11/2025: 1 STAR because it's intolerable that a public establishment decides to open or not open "just like that" based on who knows what. This happened Thursday evening, November 5th, with several potential customers waiting until 9 pm.

21/10/2025: 100% the best food we ate n the 4 days we spent in Sardinia! Wow, the pasta was DELICIOUS. We had spaghetti made with olive oil, garlic & mushrooms, and it was so good, I can still taste it while I'm typing this. The service was also fantastic, and the prices were very affordable! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in the area.

08/08/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato a Quartu Sant’Elena per una settima e abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante per ben tre volte. Abbiamo sempre mangiato pesce e la qualità dei piatti era veramente altissima. Disponibili molti piatti senza glutine o comunque riadattabili. Il personale era molto attento alla celiachia oltre ad essere molto professionali e simpatici, ma non invadenti. Consigliatissimo!! Piatto secondo me più buono: pasta con astice!

Marcello, the owner of the hotel, his partner, and the entire staff were competent and professional in every way. Marcello's friendliness and helpfulness were unique and truly wonderful. The menus offered at the restaurant we chose were exceptional. The entire hotel is meticulously maintained, with ample parking available for guests. Three wonderful days with Marcello, who deserves a solid A+. Thank you ❤️

06/11/2025: Very popular place, and for good reason, we asked if it was possible to have dinner, even though the place was full after a few minutes of waiting the seats were free, the food was really excellent, I was looking for typical dishes, excellent service, a characteristic and well-kept environment, I felt really at ease, for a very small error in the service the staff apologized 3 times 😄, what can I say, kinder and more gracious than that, they even stayed to chat while I paid the bill having pointed out to a girl of the staff the astonishing resemblance to an acquaintance of mine in the Marche 😄, you feel welcomed even like this, truly a beautiful memory of my last day in the city.

11/11/2025: Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and a great location. The best part is that. I booked a room with a garden view and found myself in a room overlooking the ditch wall, small and damp (no. 115). There was no way to raise the temperature to get rid of the damp. We slept with damp sheets, and in the morning our clothes were damp. The bathroom was small and without a bidet (hotel regulations require a full bathroom in 4-star hotels). In its place, a technological toilet that only guests with poor hygiene standards would consider using. The furnishings were Swiss chalet-like, a bit worn, and the cleanliness was sub-par. We had a terrible stay and spent a lot of money on a room worthy of a much lower-class hotel. And after completing the online questionnaire, not even an apology from management. Four stars undeserved.

13/11/2025: Absolutely not recommended. The photo gives you an idea of ​​the inedible food. The burger was burned by the dirty griddle from cooking other food, leaving a nauseating smell on the meat. The fries smelled fishy. I won't go into more detail to avoid upsetting you. It's a shame because it's completely out of step with the other branches of the group, where the food is excellent. It's a real shame, but I highly recommend it.

10/11/2025: At least once a week we treat ourselves to a pasta dish, but last night, for the second time, we came across the wrong chef. As far as we're concerned, of course. After this last experience last night at dinner, where we left most of the pasta, we decided to go somewhere else where we pay to eat and eat without leaving anything. The waiters are super good and very hospitable. Very good, but paying is enough to not eat as you expect.

08/12/2025: We spontaneously decided to eat there in October. We hadn't made a reservation, but since it was already the off-season, they still had a table for us. The owner is very friendly. The service was generally good too. I think because our Italian wasn't very good, they kept their conversation to a minimum. I imagine staff are more communicative when they realize you speak the language. But overall, there's nothing to complain about. The food was absolutely delicious. We'd gladly come back if we're ever in the area again.

05/10/2025: Delicious meal, everything we tried was good. Especially enjoyed the bottarga pasta and mix grill fish. We also tried the Sardinian cheese with honey, tiramisu, and caramelizad pears for dessert and all were amazing.

05/10/2025: You arrive at the restaurant and are immediately noticed. Without fuss, you're escorted to your table. The view is of the harbor, with boats and the sea, and the decor is elegant and refined. I tried a raw fish appetizer accompanied by their sparkling wine, and it was a perfect pairing. The tuna tasted of the sea, and the scampi was sweet and savory at the same time. I would definitely return to try the first courses, which, I've heard from the people at the table next to me, are an explosion of flavor.
