25/09/2025: What a fantastic restaurant! We received excellent service from our waiter, Gennaro. As a starter, we had fish prepared in four different ways, followed by a main course of steak with pepper sauce and black pasta. Dessert, a delicious tiramisu, completed the meal. The wines were also very reasonably priced. In short, a wonderful evening in a charming location!

14/01/2026: Excellent choice, I was there in August. Staff: Qualified and very friendly. And very kind. With excellent quality food. Large dishes, paella. More than excellent, super large dishes. I can say that I will be back, thanks guys, everything was super excellent 😘👋🏻. Highly recommended.

02/01/2026: Terrible experience, one of the worst restaurants I've tried in Alghero. The only really nice thing is the seaside location, which unfortunately turned out to be just a classic tourist trap. I had booked a specific table, but when we arrived, they completely misplaced the table, and when it came time to sit down, they assigned us another one that wasn't the one we'd agreed upon, without even a serious apology. The service was embarrassing: extremely slow, disorganized, and unnerving. We waited over an hour for our food. And we're not talking about an exceptional evening: the place is always busy, so they should be used to managing the flow, but nothing. Slowness seems par for the course. The food was the final blow. The fregola sarda was tough and clearly undercooked. The calamari was rubbery and lacked any seafood flavor. The shrimp pasta, which cost a whopping €20, was a very simple tomato pasta with ONLY ONE shrimp on top. Just one. Besides the ridiculous price, it was also completely tasteless. In short: exorbitant prices, poor quality, terrible service. You're only paying for the view, but nothing on the plate makes up for it. A truly negative experience; I absolutely do not recommend it. You can (and should) eat much better by the sea in Alghero.

12/04/2026: We had dinner for two: quick service and friendly staff. Good appetizer, delicious first courses. We shared an appetizer, two first courses, wine, and dessert for just over €80. Approved!

31/03/2026: The charm of this place is indescribable. It's far from an Instagrammable spot, but you won't be disappointed by the friendly service and delicious food. The short menu and the owner's smile will make the risk of coming here worthwhile. I recommend it to any foodie :)

05/11/2025: We spent two weeks in Palau and this was the nicest and most complete dining experience we had. The service and hospitality were spot on, attentive but not intrusive, and all the food was lovely - the grilled calamari was wonderful - I had it both evenings - the starters of marinated mussels and the monkfish Catalan were a delight, as was the grilled sea bass. We ate here our last two evenings and it was a delightful way to bring our holiday to a close.

28/09/2025: Super friendly and attentive service. Since we were coming back from a quick shopping trip and spontaneously stopped by this restaurant, we even got a shopping bag. Delicious pasta with seafood, good house wine with water, and a dessert.

21/09/2025: We stayed at the hotel next door and walked over for dinner. The staff was very friendly and when selecting catch of the day Chef Gusieppie came out and described each fish and how it was to be prepared. We also ordered the Mussels in Myrtle which were excellent! We selected the rockfish and was very pleased with it.

19/09/2025: I know that many people find it scandalous to have a dish served on a bathroom tile! But we're open-minded! The tile was a tile anyway! The girl from Turin was super nice, welcoming, and helpful. I don't think they'll have another season. The mussels were dried out; the appetizer was good, but if I'd tried harder, I could have had a better one on the beach. Then I chose the catch of the day, a scorpion fish that the girl from Turin kindly served us! It was good, and I'll tell you tomorrow if it was fresh! Anyway, one adult and two children (the eldest is 10) with a glass of wine, two appetizers, a pasta dish with tomato sauce, a fried mixed seafood dish, and a scorpion fish = €200. Fine if everything is perfect! But given the shortcomings we can find, I can't give more than 3 stars. If it weren't for the girl from Turin who served us, I'd give it 2 ⭐️⭐️

26/01/2026: Excellent experience at Pizzeria La Grotta in Oristano. I had a pizza with Antunna mushrooms, which was truly delicious, well-cooked, and made with quality ingredients. It was all washed down with a very good red beer. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service pleasant. I will definitely be back, highly recommended! 🍕🍺

28/03/2026: We finally had dinner at Balena for the first time, after hearing so much about it. It was like stepping back in time: a seafood dinner with simple, intense flavors, hard to find elsewhere, especially in an era where dishes seem to need to be overly elaborate to have an identity. I think the choice of simple dishes is perfect for showcasing the quality of the ingredients. Straightforward and unfussy, some might not like it, but for me it was a wonderful discovery.
