03/04/2025: We were in Carlforte on a spring day and walking through the streets of the center we noticed this place where we stopped to read the menu which was very inviting, we were immediately welcomed by the owner who explained the menu to us a little and then seated us. Varied menu with a wide choice of typical local dishes and wines, the food was delicious and the portions generous, excellent service and very good value for money.

05/10/2024: Un hermoso entorno con vistas a la bahía es tan relajante. La comida y el servicio son de primera categoría - me encantó el Turbot y los sofás. Excelente pan (un hallazgo raro). El chef realmente produce sabores increíbles. Buena selección de vinos y personal muy servicial. No tiene un precio excesivo y no es nada pretencioso. Realmente una visita obligada. Libro aunque como es popular y sé por qué ahora.

17/10/2024: Staff very professional and nice, also interior nice. However we had fish plate for two (55 €) but was very ordinary. The taste was very pure without any special spices. A bit salt amd garlic. I mean.. it was good but nothing special. In the end the receipt was 80 € for our dinner for 2 persons but I don't think it was worth it. We had better food for cheaper price elsewhere..

12/10/2024: I can only give 5 stars to this restaurant. Excellent service, with very kind and knowledgeable people. The food was delicious, luckily with vegetarian offerings. The beef my boyfriend ate was superb and my pasta with vegetable sauce was also delicious. We also got a taste of the mixed cheeses and the tiramisu. The wine very good and also the myrtle. Definitely a place to return to and to recommend. Not to mention the terrace and the interior, which are truly special. As for the price, I consider it more than fair: we ate and spent time much better than the majority of the restaurants we went to in recent weeks, traveling along the east coast of the region. Thanks for everything ❤️

08/03/2025: We went to this restaurant and had a great meal, the fish was fresh, the octopus salad was delicious, the fried calamari was excellent, we will definitely return. The lady who served us was very kind.

08/10/2024: Unfortunately the waitress was alone and was visibly struggling to serve the entire room, but despite this she was very nice and kind. We sat down at 8.30pm, set the table around 9pm, a starter for 2 arrived at around 9.30pm, while at 10.30pm the 2 practically inedible fried dishes arrived: hard calamari, they crunched in the mouth, we barely finished the dish due to hunger, while I left half of it. While collecting our plates, the waitress asked us if everything was okay and we explained to her the inconvenience of frying and she replied that she was sorry and that if we had informed her beforehand she would have made us do them again, she was kind for goodness sake, but after two hours of sitting, still waiting, after having already waited 2 hours, we really didn't feel like it. The fried food was then frozen, €22 each and you left like that and I think that if we had done it again, we would most likely have had the same result. The starter was 4 TASTES on one of those dishes divided into 4 parts, it also seems like 22 euros. He offered us the next 2 grappas, let's say that it could also go, given that one dish was finished anyway. Maybe in periods with extra staff it's a different type of restaurant, but that's how it went for us.

25/03/2025: If I may make a note, it is the following: I ordered two glasses of wine which I chose from many. The wine was brought to me but it was poured behind the scenes and not in front of me as it should be done. I have to see if the wine poured is the one ordered so I have to see the bottle while the wine is being poured for me. Then perhaps due to inattention I felt that at the other tables they indicated the recommended dishes of the day and at our table they didn't, but I guess it was an inattention, it doesn't matter

17/02/2025: Superdecantato per il posto (che indubbiamente merita) e per la cucina (assai deludente e di lentezza esasperante). Pane carasau con olio, neppure stie idito. Frittura senza attinie. Fregola di mare affogata in brodo e pomodoro con cozze e vongole ma senza granchio e altri crostacei. Orata al sale spacciata per spigola: per carità… Amara delusione complessiva.

15/01/2025: Unforgettable New Year's Eve dinner. I can't say more than from the staff's attention to us and our dog, and of course the presentation, decoration, and good work in the kitchen, we were delighted with all the dishes, although there were diners who thought fish was not their strong point. They left nothing on the plate. Quite an achievement! Although the price may seem high, it is not for what they gave us, I mention this since I have seen other menus for a little less and lower quality. Thank you and I hope to return to ripetere. 18/09/2024: I have to give only one star because the restaurant is closed and no one bothered to update this status on Google, which instead always reports it as open. I went the other evening, they kindly pointed out to me that they didn't serve dinner, and while I was eating at the nearby restaurant, which was excellent and provided extremely kind treatment, I had to attend a private dinner right at the Baretto. Maybe we should be a little more clear with customers, because being bounced elsewhere with a few words crossed and then attending a private banquet, which is also very noisy, is not the best. Sin.

08/09/2024: Another excellent dinner at il Baretto. Thank you again. The spaghetti with violet shrimp and bottarga was and is perhaps one of the best pasta dishes I've ever enjoyed. Delicious croaker (think sea bass), tempura seafood, and tuna tartare. Highly recommended. Thank you 🙏🏼 💙
