I can only judge the appetizers and grilled fish, as I haven't tried the first courses. It's mediocre, but I wouldn't recommend it. The bill is reasonable.

No reservation, but still got a spot. Admittedly outside in the tent, but that was no problem at all. The food was exceptionally good and the staff excellent. And outside the tourist area. Worth a lot.

We had a wonderful time at this traditional trattoria. The welcome was warm and friendly, the food was excellent, all homemade and full of flavor (we had Sardinian pasta and spaghetti al Alguerse, a plate of Sardinian cheeses, and a sabayon-style dessert – absolutely divine! – with local white wine), all at a very reasonable price. In short, an unmissable and unbeatable address in Alghero, thank you! 🙏

Good value for money, we tasted 2 pasta dishes which turned out to be delicious, the welcome is great, it's worth going a little away from the very touristy area.

A lot of name in the guides but little quality in reality. Some spaghetti and macaroni not very good, nothing special, we have had better dinners in Algerho in many other restaurants.

We returned many years after our first experience. We found a restaurant with neither excellent nor infamous cuisine, very courteous staff, but an unfriendly and rude host. We paid a lot, ate very little. I don't think we'll return. I recommend always checking your receipt before paying. It was incorrect (excessive!) for both us and another customer shortly before.

11/04/2026: I rarely write reviews, but here we got exactly what we were looking for in Ischia. Traditional dishes, prepared traditionally. There were no trained waiters or forced smiles. It was a homey, cozy atmosphere and amazing dishes, "just like grandma used to make." No burgers, no fast food. Delicious peasant soup with porcini mushrooms, pasta prepared as if you were eating for yourself, not for a tourist, and amazing Ischian-style rabbit. Large portions at low prices. A truly atmospheric restaurant, preserving the traditions of local cuisine. Thank goodness such establishments still exist. Wishing you prosperity! And understanding customers.

RISTORANTE LE ONDE

27/04/2026: Very pleasant. The fixed menu is €40, all-inclusive, so drinks (water, wine, spirits) and dessert are included. The quantity, but above all the quality, is very good (the seafood salad for the appetizer is homemade, and you can already taste the quality of the fish, which is always fresh). Kudos to the owner and the waiters, who were super efficient and super kind (every request was accommodated). I regret not being able to leave a tip because I didn't have cash with me. The only downside, given the number of people, was the bathrooms: despite having one for men and one for women, they weren't enough, and lines formed. If I'd go back... I'd be quick! BRAVO!!!
27/04/2026: At this seaside restaurant, we had a set menu for €40, which included everything from appetizers to dessert, coffee, and liqueurs. Everything was delicious and fresh, and the service was friendly and prompt, despite the restaurant being packed. The only downside was the restrooms; there's only one for women, which is insufficient for the size of the restaurant. Other than that, we had a great time and will be back.
