25/05/2025: Ho sempre sentito parlare bene di questo ristorante e finalmente ho deciso di provarlo insieme ad amici. Abbiamo assaggiato diversi tipi di antipasto e non li ho trovati eccezionali soprattutto in rapporto al loro prezzo, a mio parere, troppo elevato. Successivamente abbiamo scelto gli scenografici tagliolini allo scoglio in crosta, piatto molto buono e consigliato. Sconsiglio il vino bianco della casa che aveva odore e gusto sgradevoli. Non penso di tornarci in futuro.

03/05/2025: The hotel is located directly on Lake Como. The rooms are simply furnished, but nothing is damaged and very clean. There's nothing to complain about at breakfast either, there's enough choice and something for everyone. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! There is also a free parking lot at the hotel.

The last few times I came, even during the week, we waited really too long, with the order counter standing still for longer than actually ordering, even though the place was half empty, with half the tables free. The line was endless. I lost the desire!!!

14/05/2025: Definitely avoid for lunch. I went to this restaurant for lunch with a friend during the week and we left really disappointed. We took the lunch menu with a first course and side dish (with water and a glass of wine included) of your choice. The spaghetti was pre-cooked and reheated on the spot, the shelled clams were clearly frozen (but not marked with an asterisk on the menu). It looked like spaghetti with oil... tasteless. I can understand that you want to offer good-priced lunch menus to attract workers, but I suggest you review your proposals: instead of offering spaghetti with frozen clams for €12 (we know that fresh clams are expensive), instead make simple and economical dishes that will help you cover your management costs but, at the same time, quality dishes. Even a pasta with fresh cherry tomatoes can be good if made with quality raw materials. As a side dish we had chosen grilled aubergines. Two (I repeat, two in number) round, small and thin slices of aubergines arrived... a very sad dish. Really disappointing. We left the restaurant really disappointed. If I had known that the lunch menu was so poor and of poor quality, I would have taken an à la carte dish with a couple of euros more on the bill. Rather than leaving people disappointed, you do not offer certain options to customers at all. You are not a diner but, on the contrary, you want to give an image of a chic and quality restaurant... and then you fall on a pre-cooked spaghetti that was sticking together (I had to detach it with the knife at a certain point...). Really a shame. But what I was most sorry about this episode is that the managers think that customers are stupid and do not notice the poor quality, frozen and pre-cooked food. Bad bad for lunch. Avoid it or choose à la carte dishes.

11/05/2025: Mother's Day... My mother and I, two people for lunch, receipt for 4 place settings. The couscous was terrible..., the fried food and appetizer were excellent. Too bad the long wait!

20/04/2025: We were on holiday right near this restaurant and one evening we decided to try it. I ate A WONDERFUL meal. They brought us homemade focaccia and pizza and that in itself was very good. We took a rare steak, which was delicious and cooked just right, and a sandwich that was a little elaborate but really, really good, the meat melted in your mouth. The desserts, also homemade, were excellent. The portions were larger than I expected, especially the desserts.

26/05/2025: unfortunately I found this in my plate of sea bream with mushrooms and I can't think of anything else. How disgusting. Before finding this surprise I thought that the fish must not be very fresh, the taste was not pleasant, and then this. They took it off my bill but it's not enough to not strongly advise against this place. mammamia how disgusting mammamia... they should send NAS

23/05/2025: Excellent lunch based on asparagus, fast service, courtesy of the girls in the dining room excellent and professional. Clean and tidy place. Place suggested by Mrs. Antonella Croci in Catella, of the Franco Catella Farm in Cantello, growers and producers of white asparagus! Excellent suggestion, thank you very much

20/05/2025: During our Uber ride to pick up our rental car we asked the driver for his favourite restaurant. Osteria del Gatto was the first on his list. He said they made the best pizza in the world. The experience didn’t disappoint. Great food and wonderful people. Full of local life and culture.
