31/10/2025: We were absolutely delighted! The food was delicious, the desserts were huge, and the service was incredibly friendly.
Every pizza could also be ordered gluten-free for an extra €2.50, which I think is fantastic.
We'll definitely be back! 😍

Ristorante La Contrada

11/07/2025: This is a historic restaurant in Domaso that has had several different owners for varying lengths of time, but all have maintained the unique character of the osteria. Access is gained by descending two steps into two rooms with exposed stonework and vaulted ceilings. An internal staircase leads to the first floor, where the rooms are modernly furnished.
The menu offers classic lakeside specialties and well-prepared seafood. The wine list is decent, and prices are reasonable. It's popular with tourists seeking this historic atmosphere, and they don't mind the lack of lake views. July 2025: closed until a new owner is found.
03/07/2025: Our second visit to this restaurant, and this time we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite! The food and service were excellent, and the interior was cozy. A very nice and warm atmosphere.
This year, the older chef came by again and asked us if we were enjoying our meal and if everything was okay. And it was!
As we left, we made sure to thank him personally once again!
We'll definitely be back. Thank you very much!

23/11/2025: Congratulations on everything, from the food (Livorno-style mussels, mixed fried fish, and seafood scialatielli pasta—superb!) to the service, to the location!
Perhaps I would have expected a more generous first course, but that's just my personal preference, which I admit is a bit trucker-like 😅
Next time I'll get the Nando's menu, which was highly recommended.

06/12/2025: The pizza was very dry and almost burnt. The place was super crowded. The waiters were trying their best, but the deliveries arrived at different times even though we had all ordered pizza. The place was very chaotic, very hot, and poorly ventilated. When we left, we were all filled with the smell of onion.
22/11/2025: Great experience, family-style pizza. The welcome was excellent, as was the service, and the pizzas and desserts were equally good. Perhaps the tables were a little small and very close together. We'll definitely be back.

We were quite out of time and unfortunately couldn't try various entry dishes but utterly love matured and mastered to a perfection main dishes so we will certainly come back soonest we can. Staff was super nice and helpful as well.

In family-run restaurants like this, you can truly experience the Italian spirit.
The food is delicious and affordable. You can eat at prices similar to those in Poland, or maybe even cheaper (09/2025).
I highly recommend it.

13/10/2025: We went there for the first time for a fantastic exhibition at the castle.
Excellent experience, warm welcome, attentive and friendly service, especially from the young man. The dishes were quality. We ordered mushroom risotto, pumpkin gnocchi with gorgonzola, etc. Everything was very good. I confess I would have liked to try the pizzas too.

06/10/2025: For a quick lunch, I arrive at this place at 2:32 PM (closing time is 3:00 PM) and am rudely asked not to sit down, shouting, "There are plenty of other bars around here."

Spacious room and everything was very clean and quiet.
At breakfast, we were greeted by a charming, smiling, and attentive lady. She made our experience wonderful, even drawing on our lattes 👌🏼

Additionally, the restaurant (hotel) offers 2 halls suitable for group/company events.
The venue is strategically positioned between Como, Lecco, Milan and Bergamo, which offers excellent logistical connections to main North Italian arteries and 3 airports.

07/09/2025: First visit to Milan and our hotel recommended this restaurant. We were really pleased with the tuna and snapper. The sides and the dessert we also nice. I strongly recommend this restaurant!
28/08/2025: They don't make fresh fried fish. They still use nonstick in the kitchen (long ago abandoned by many chefs because they were unreliable/unhealthy). We left without trying anything. Impeccable service.
