11/10/2025: In a restaurant serving Como cuisine, I'd always expect the local specialties: at least lake fish dishes and local cheeses. The menu didn't offer what I expected. Despite this, I ate well, enjoying the goat cheese ravioli (which is available here) with caramelized onions: I was captivated by their perfect balance of sweet and savory. A more than adequate wine list, the friendliness of the staff, and the average price rounded out the evening.

08/10/2025: Tucked away in a quiet alley in the heart of Como - “Locanda Barbarossa” is a true hidden gem，peaceful and charming despite being so central. .We had lunch outdoors, and it was absolutely lovely — calm, comfortable, and beautifully set. The food was outstanding, made with the freshest ingredients and full of authentic flavors. The staff were warm and attentive throughout. Special thanks to Roland for his kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality — he made our experience even more special!

23/06/2025: Totally a rare find, we lived across the street and the “other” seafood restaurant was full so we walked into this joint for alternative late dinner. Little do we know, we were surprised by the place, the quality of the food, reasonable price, super friendly (and pretty) service by Tonya n her chefs, and even the little things like the quality and cleanliness of the toilet impressed me so much! Especially in Italy, good toilets are hard to see. All in all we had such a great time that we had to go again on our last day before we fly off, had another awesome dinner time with good wine recommendations! Please give this restaurant a good try, u will love it!

27/09/2025: Despite our last-minute reservation, right before closing time, the staff welcomed us warmly, allowing us to fully enjoy our dinner and providing impeccable service, always being helpful and professional. We highly recommend it for the service, but also for the high-quality products and the location.

24/08/2025: Nothing special. The lasagna was good, the T-bone steak was average, and the Milanese cutlet was very weak and fried in fish fryer.

27/08/2025: I went with my family on a very hot, sultry weekday. We preferred to eat inside, relying on the air conditioning... but the air conditioning was out of order because it was leaking, so the heat inside was unbearable. The food was very good, but the wait was unnerving; over an hour was too long. I'll return on a cooler day, counting on the excellent food and hoping the wait times have improved!!!

17/09/2025: Excellent restaurant with a prix fixe menu (tasty and well-cooked) and pizza at lunchtime (my wife loved it). Reasonable prices for Milan. We had a great time, recommended.

13/07/2025: Excellent business lunch. High-quality food and a warm welcome. I had excellent spaghetti with truffles and shrimp tartare, and a perfect sea bream in salt! Recommended.

20/06/2025: Everything was very good, excellent raw appetizers and equally good first courses. The only flaw was the pasta was a little too al dente.

02/06/2025: Not an interesting building with a tiny parking lot, but the interior is old and elegant. Three appetizers, two first courses, a second course, two desserts, water and two drinks, about €40 per person. Everything was very good, my gnocchi with parmesan cream and truffle flakes were worth the visit alone. Too bad we were all practically teetotalers, because the sommelier has certifications hanging everywhere. The place is a bit cold, I recommend a sweater.

20/09/2025: We came for pizza, but we had to go to the kitchen because there was an hour and a half wait. Then, when they served us from the kitchen, they told us we could also eat pizza. Very rude behavior.

05/09/2025: Terrible experience at the Kiosk (August). We were greeted by a stressed pensioner who huffed and puffed, talking behind his back, and shaking his head at every customer request. It's a shame about the restaurant, which is very nice, and the owner, who seemed very professional. But for goodness sake, let stressed pensioners act like pensioners.

05/10/2025: Four of us spontaneously stopped in today. We were very nicely persuaded and didn't regret it. Everything was wonderful and delicious. Thank you for the very pleasant service. Gaby and Metty, Iris and Ingo.

05/10/2025: Among many restaurants, we felt welcome at Al Fattore. All the dishes delighted our palates. The owner is old-school when it comes to hospitality and friendliness. We'll be happy to come back next time.

14/09/2025: Typical Italian! Friendly, cheerful, and delicious 😋. The service is very attentive and offers tips on the cuisine, including the food, and is even up for a few funny remarks. The food was very tasty. The only downside is the plastic garden chairs, so you just hope they hold up. Children are welcome.
