02/10/2025: Small but very nice place, without too many things hanging on the walls like other places. I was seated right away. Service was very fast. The Margherita pizza was delicious, as was the panna cotta. At other tables, I saw truly inviting burgers, tartare, and pasta dishes. The waitress was very kind. It's close to the motel where I was staying. The only downside is that the street is completely dark and halfway there's no sidewalk. The bill for 1 Coke, 1 pizza, and 1 panna cotta was 17 euros. Absolutely reasonable.

15/11/2025: The mixed hot/cold fish appetizer was overrated; it didn't look good and didn't taste fresh. The first course of paccheri with fish ragù was nothing special. They had praised it a year ago, but today the appetizer and first courses were adequate. Spaghetti allo scoglio, more like "stallo"... Inedible... Service was adequate... the wine wasn't even served in glasses, and the waitress was clearly and apparently not 100% lucid 😉. Unfortunately, if they don't improve the food and service, we won't be coming back...

11/11/2025: Is a gem! So glad to dine at this place for dinner. The food was awesome, especially the hot mussels which warmed me up. Of course, the service was fantastic, want to give a shout out to Tisana! (may not have spelled it correctly) Thank you so much for the joy and the attentiveness.

11/10/2025: Yes, excellent quality food! But the bill was exorbitant, the cover charge was staggering for two simple courses, and the portions were meager, neither meat nor fish. I wouldn't recommend it.

02/11/2025: Excellent venue, excellent service, excellent food. We choose the Veliero when we want to eat good fish. I recommend the fried fish: not at all greasy and sublimely crispy. The new management hasn't completely transformed the venue, but they've improved an already excellent restaurant. I really liked that the 18-lune grappa was poured directly at my table.

31/10/2025: Il Veliero is a restaurant/pizzeria offering takeout. We had the pizza and I must say we enjoyed it; it was tasty and not at all heavy. The staff was helpful and friendly. When I booked, I mentioned that we had a 2-year-old with us, and they provided her with a high chair and a cartoon character glass at her reserved seat. I thought it was a very nice touch. Thank you so much. The seafood risotto is delicious, as is the spaghetti with clams and the mixed fried food! The restaurant has a dining room and a large lounge suitable for group lunches/dinners and special occasions. They also offer a summer terrace in the summer. There is ample parking outside.

30/11/2025: I ate well, the fish was excellent quality, but unfortunately the service was a bit poor, they gave me a reservation at 9:15 pm without mentioning that the kitchen closes at 10 pm and as far as I'm concerned I would have had the same right to order what I wanted as someone who arrived at 7 pm otherwise they should set a time limit for reservations because I ate well but I wasn't full and leaving the restaurant and then having to go home to nibble... No way.

27/11/2025: I went to celebrate my sister's birthday, and besides being really kind in letting us bring the cake, we enjoyed some truly exceptional fish dishes!

16/11/2025: Just had dinner with friends, everything was excellent. The girls were great, including Eleonora, who together created a truly family-like atmosphere.

15/05/2025: Fantastic restaurant in Vimercate. This is an extraordinary restaurant at the main square in Vimercate. There are just a few tables therefore an reservation is highly recommended. There is a small menu to choose from however all dishes are excellent and tasty. The menu starts with an ‘amuse gueule’, a starter, a secondi, a main and a dessert. Both the food and its presentation is perfect and worth every Euro. There is a decent wine list and the service is highly personal, friendly and attentive. This is not a restaurant for every day however for special purposes in a relaxing and elegant atmosphere. Go there and enjoy!

01/05/2025: Capitato per caso in questo locale con mia figlia di 3 anni.. location molto bella. Non c’è nessuno e ci fanno scegliere.. un tavolo grande per 4 persone.. trattamento ottimo! Ordinato un risotto allo zafferano per la bambina, arriva dopo 18 minuti.. tempistiche perfette. Come entre’ ci offrono arancini di riso molto buoni un cono originale e del pane caldo. Ottimo anche per la bambina. Pur non essendo un fan del risotto classico questo devo dire che è cucinato alla perfezione, chicco corposo ma giusto. Uno dei migliori. Da un posto elencante ti aspetti tipicamente una porzione troppo small ma sorprendentemente era corretta! Ci hanno portato fofaccine e pane e grissini.. niente male per me e la piccola. Prezzo caro ma allineato all offerta. Visto i pochi coperti (meriterebbe ben altra affluenza) il prezzo è tanto più corretto. Cosa dire.. premio perché se lo meritano ! Pur essendo amante del pesce e di un altro taglio di locali non posso non riconoscere come ogni dettaglio di questo ristornate sia eccellente.. dalla delicatezza nell’offrire il cuscino alla bambina alla bella fattura di questo fino alla bruciacchiatura gradevole della parmigiana che ha regalato un tocco magistrale di texture al boccone. 5 stelle.

16/11/2025: Historic lakeside kiosk serving excellent fried fish, in a beautiful setting with tables overlooking Lake Iseo with a stunning view. Service is excellent, you choose the various types of products you want, you're given a number, and when your fried fish is ready, you're called. A great way to avoid crowds and unnecessary queues... it can get chaotic on weekends.

22/10/2025: Super pizza! The Caesar salad was very well prepared and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

19/10/2025: We booked at 9:15, and the table was delivered at 9:45. We finally ordered, and it took 1 hour and 20 minutes to receive two pizzas and three slices. I'm giving it two stars only because we were offered dessert; otherwise, it would have been zero stars.

22/11/2025: This was a wonderful experience! Visiting from the US and wanted a good pizza spot near our airbnb / duomo and came across Flash. Highly recommend! Great pizza, not touristy, amazing price point, very good service. They also were very accommodating with our stroller setup!

22/11/2025: The pizza was good, but the meat wasn't (tough, flavorless, and my cut of steak, which I'd asked for "blue," was overcooked). The girl who served us was very good. The atmosphere is simple and not very well-kept (crooked pictures, no paper towels in the bathroom). The location is this place's strong point.
