02/01/2026: Il Faro Restaurant outdid itself on the evening of December 31st. We celebrated the end of the year with excellent food and impeccable service. The music kept us entertained all evening, and the price was well-deserved at €75. Highly recommended.

Everything was fine until the bill arrived — 98 euros, which was perfectly acceptable. We left 20 euros × 6 = 120 euros, planning to leave a tip. When the change came, I was shocked to receive only 2 euros. To be sure, I checked my wallet to confirm that I had indeed put in 120 euros. I counted again and confirmed it. The real shock came when the staff returned with four 20‑euro notes, claiming that we had not paid the full amount. I should add that when the waiter took the money, he dropped it on the floor and spent a long time under the table, even though the money was not scattered around. That's where the missing 40 euros disappeared — into his pocket. Disgraceful behavior and a ruined day! I spend at least a couple of months a year in this region. 26/01/2026: We've been customers of this restaurant for a long time, but with the new management, we were truly surprised and positively surprised. The quality has taken a noticeable leap. We ate incredibly fresh, authentic fish, made with natural, top-quality ingredients, including excellent caviar. Everything was meticulously prepared, with a quality that was clearly evident. The new owners, Vincenzo and Alberto, are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and passionate, capable of providing excellent advice and truly showcasing the finest ingredients. It was an experience that won us over and one we absolutely recommend.

07/10/2025: Hotel directly on the lake, separated only by a promenade. The beach is not part of the hotel. It's a pebble beach. Sunbeds and umbrellas are subject to a fee. Restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. Breakfast buffet, with all the essentials, including a variety of fruit. Clean rooms, with daily towel changes. Friendly, unobtrusive service. There's "actually" enough parking. The sound of the waves is audible. €102 per night per room for early September is very good value. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you very much.

13/01/2026: We went here for lunch. Everything was beautiful, from the location to the service and the food. The only thing missing is the WOW factor, which I didn't experience. Everyone does their job admirably, but without any particular flair. I would gladly return.

07/01/2026: We went before Epiphany with some friends and had a great time. The place is very cute and clean, as are the bathrooms, which are a good indication of the cleanliness of the place. We ordered both pizzas (which the kids also loved) and pasta dishes, and everything was very good. The staff were very friendly throughout. I highly recommend them!
