It never gives off a “tourist trap” vibe — instead, it feels authentic and thoughtfully curated. Their wine selection is also impressive, offering a variety that pairs beautifully with the food and elevates the whole experience. A place where you can truly enjoy great cuisine, good wine, and a calm, elegant vibe. Definitely somewhere worth returning to every time you’re in Milan.

My wife ordered a small portion (IT DEFINITELY WASN'T THE PORTION FOR 2 PEOPLE / IT WAS ALSO SAID HE MAKES A SMALL PORTION EXTRA) - but we were charged for a large one, and there's a €6 flat fee for table setting (whether you need it or not). I also don't think €8 for a 0.4l beer is justified. The pizza was edible (the mushrooms and, in my opinion, the artichokes were canned - YOU CAN SEE IT IMMEDIATELY, THE FACT IS, IT'S NOT FRESH AND IT'S CANNED). The risotto was also okay... but almost €60 for a pizza, a small risotto, and two drinks is far too expensive. I absolutely do not recommend this pizzeria.

05/05/2026: We had a delicious meal. They even have gluten-free pizzas. The price is average. The restaurant has been in the family since 1920. The staff is friendly and helpful.

08/02/2026: First time here. The menu is varied, not just vegan but also meat-friendly, so there's plenty to choose from. The owner/manager is incredibly kind and friendly, and knows how to put his customers at ease. The vegan carbonara is excellent (as a meat-eater says). My son chose the bresaola pizza, which had excellent toppings and was perfectly cooked without the burnt bottom. Highly recommended.

22/04/2026: The pizza is truly delicious, with a light, easy-to-digest dough and excellent ingredients. If I had to find a flaw, the acoustics inside aren't great, and when there are a lot of people, it can be difficult to talk. But for pizza, it's my go-to place in Pavia.

01/01/2026: A ruined day!! If you are a tourist, do not pay in cash if you don't want to be scammed. After a walk by the lake with the children, we went in for lunch on December 31st around midday. Everything was fine until the bill arrived — 98 euros, which was perfectly acceptable. We left 20 euros × 6 = 120 euros, planning to leave a tip. When the change came, I was shocked to receive only 2 euros. To be sure, I checked my wallet to confirm that I had indeed put in 120 euros. I counted again and confirmed it. The real shock came when the staff returned with four 20‑euro notes, claiming that we had not paid the full amount. I should add that when the waiter took the money, he dropped it on the floor and spent a long time under the table, even though the money was not scattered around. That's where the missing 40 euros disappeared — into his pocket. Disgraceful behavior and a ruined day! I spend at least a couple of months a year in this region.
