07/08/2026: Firstly, you really need to book to guarantee a table, as witnessed several people sadly turned away. The setting at the far end of the town is perfect, quiet and generates a calming atmosphere.
The service was impeccable, attentive throughout the evening, never letting your glass go empty.
The food was divine, can highly recommend the Octopus, seabass and ravioli was perfectly cooked.
Would definitely go back as best of 6 restaurants visited whilst in Varenna.

18/01/2026: A lovely evening with friends.
The appetizers were top-notch, worthy of a 5-star meal.
Followed by a fried dish that didn't live up to the restaurant's name.
The baked sea bass was okay.
The first courses (served last) were passable, perhaps I'm used to bolder flavors.
Followed by gelato on a bed of fruit that was excellent, and a mini cannolo that was twice as good.
Coffee followed by a jug of amaro to help digest the bill.
17/01/2026: Very satisfied, excellent and plentiful dishes. It's a shame they closed at the end of January 😕
We hope they open again...it's definitely worth it 🏆🏅

08/07/2026: I went to Lake Lecco for a music festival. Luckily, I found this beautiful and sophisticated restaurant.
Excellent food, breathtaking location, but the service surpassed everything. The staff were extremely kind and, above all, knowledgeable. A wonderful experience!!!!
07/07/2026: Interesting interpretations of the dishes, everything is delicious. Some portions are quite small. Good wine selection, although the wine list by the glass could be stronger. Service is generally good, but the ordering logic and distribution of food are questionable. Prices are reasonable, but the place is not cheap. Michelin recommended in 2025.

08/06/2026: We were delighted by Lago's menu and entertained by Francesco, who is highly knowledgeable about wines and dishes. He serves dishes his grandfather and father catch in the lake, just a few meters away. At the welcoming Osteria Da Ceko (Grandpa), anecdotes and strong, surprising flavors blend in a revitalizing family atmosphere. Leaving the center for the fishing village is a definite plus when visiting beautiful Lecco. Da Ceko will be well worth the walk...

16/07/2026: Wonderful experience with a family atmosphere! Excellent food, lake views, and impeccable hospitality—what more could you ask for for a romantic dinner?! Oana was excellent and kind in taking care of our experience at the restaurant. Even our dog Roger was welcomed with love and care. Highly recommended! Thank you, and see you soon!
11/07/2026: In my opinion, it was just average. The view was great and the service was great, but the food wasn't anything special, just classic pizza. Maybe other options are better, but when it comes to pizza, I think there are better places.

07/08/2026: The place is well-maintained, with tableware replaced after each customer. Although we didn't just get pizza, judging by the portions the waiter brought to other tables, we could have eaten our fill.
07/08/2026: A truly magnificent establishment; we were speechless when we discovered the outdoor dining area! The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the entire team is fantastic!
Each server speaks a different language!

28/07/2026: The space was cramped and cramped, and the young waitress, no one smiled, everyone had angry faces. It wasn't possible to get a portion of plain risotto for the little girl; I had to order two risottos à la carte (22 euros for two) to get the little girl to eat the risotto. It was also supposed to be a fish risotto, but the fish was fried in batter and placed on top. For someone with gluten intolerance, even risotto isn't a safe option. The prices were above average considering the menu offerings and the complete lack of a lake view. What's more, they didn't give me a receipt!!! I only realized this later.
26/07/2026: Really different menu. If you are over pasta and pizza this is a great place for gourmet food

23/05/2026: Hotel Risi, a gem right on Lake Como
Large and comfortable room, delicious breakfast with everything from sweet to savory, and freshly made cappuccinos, not coffee from machines.
The staff is very kind and welcoming.
The location is wonderful, right in front of the ferry dock and close to the pedestrian area with many restaurants and a lovely lakeside promenade.
A very pleasant experience and highly recommended.
23/05/2026: Excellent value for money. Beautiful location in Collio, facing Lake Como. The ferry to Bellagio departs just across the street (note that on windy days, the ferry frequency is lower than from other locations). The hotel has an excellent restaurant, and many other places to eat are within walking distance. The train station is a 5-minute walk. They have parking 200 meters away. The breakfast is very good, and the service is excellent as well. It's a good option for staying on Lake Como that's not too expensive, quieter, and offers quality service.

10/06/2026: Excellent experience. The restaurant is on the shore of Lake Como, with a beautiful park full of birds from the windows. We had a pizza for four, which was truly excellent. We then shared fried squid and shrimp. The fior di latte and warm raspberry gelato was phenomenal.
All the staff who served us were friendly and helpful, but a special thanks to Jasmine for her professionalism and kindness.
25/05/2026: Good food, good prices. Also has a campervan pitch. All in all, highly recommended.

31/05/2026: Beautiful hotel. Rooms are new and well appointed. The location is on a quiet part of the lake with stunning views from the waterfront. Staff were friendly during check in and orientation to the local area.
