24/05/2025: Siamo capitati a pranzo dopo un evento sportivo di mio figlio, consigliato da alcuni amici... Antipasto misto abbondantissimo e buonissimo tutto freschissimo Alici e cozze top... I primi uno scoglio e spaghetti con le vongole ottimi Frittura presa da mia figlia ho potuto giudicare solo alla vista e direi perfetta, perché tanta l abbondanza delle porzioni che eravamo veramente pieni da nn riuscire ad assaggiare. Servizio ottimo gentilezza e cortesia all ennesima potenza. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo Torneremo sicuramente

19/05/2025: Arrived on Sunday at 3pm with great courtesy they sat us down despite the time, fantastic service and courtesy and delicious food, very fresh fish with abundant portions and an exceptional quality/price ratio. Highly recommended.

01/06/2025: Ristorante di pesce ma hanno anche parecchie opzioni di carne. Il pesce era freschissimo e veramente molto buono. Ogni piatto era gustoso, ben presentato e si sentiva la qualità della materia prima. Servizio cortese e ambiente piacevole. Sicuramente un posto dove tornare! Non abbiamo foto delle portate principali... eravamo troppo impegnati a gustarli!!! Consigliatisaimo!!!

15/05/2025: What a surprise this little place is! Finally some fish dishes where you can taste the sea! No frills that we have unfortunately become accustomed to for a while but genuine flavors. Among other things I ate tagliolini with amberjack and pachino, very fresh, unbeatable, well cooked, seasoned and full of fish. Good good good! Thank you I will definitely be back!

26/04/2025: We went with my dad today for lunch at this family-run restaurant. We were really surprised, everything was delicious, the fresh fish of the day was in the room, we were well recommended by the Chef, the fish was cooked really, really well and the sauces for the mixed starter were perfectly paired. Delicious scampi cream risotto, perfect non-oily frying, sea bream and calamari grilled perfectly without being burnt. The dishes are plentiful. The service was friendly and unobtrusive. Price more than fair. Truly congratulations to everyone. We will definitely be back

06/06/2025: ELEGANCE. Awesome place: location, dishes, high academic level cuisine, top cellar. It used to be a place for a few. Dish that enhances the taste of the dishes and you can taste the sea but DELICATELY. In fact it is all delicate. The staff understands a lot and assists you! Both from the inside, where sober and elegant rooms make guests feel at ease, and from the outside terraces you can enjoy an exceptional view of Ponza and the entire bay. While the owner and staff are always very attentive to the needs of the diners. Top marks to everything.

17/05/2025: I went there yesterday for the first time, a dinner with some friends, I have to say everything was perfect, the service was impeccable, the dishes were excellent, I really recommend it.

02/06/2025: Bad bad! We started with a series of cold appetizers that all had the same flavor: impossible to distinguish the cuttlefish from the octopus from the squid, I only considered the shrimp with parmesan flakes acceptable (which in fact were finished immediately!). Raw with very poor quality fish, the oysters, probably opened by a butcher, had dried up due to the bad opening and the swordfish arrived even half-frozen. We also received some cuttlefish with chickpeas, drowned in a kind of water (probably that of the chickpea can), some terrible fish balls and a fried food with the consistency of rubber, all to make up an appetizer that had already filled us up, but without satisfying us in terms of flavor. The first courses were perhaps even worse! We had paccheri with, perhaps, red shrimp, and I specify perhaps because the seafood flavor was absolutely not there, some decent but not outstanding fish ravioli, and the worst scampi cream risotto I have ever eaten in my life, which probably hadn't even seen the scampi with a telescope. Stunned by all this abominable food, I couldn't enjoy the second course, of which I only had the courage to taste the fish in a potato crust: decent, but badly served (the potatoes, instead of forming a crust, were completely detached from the fish). I then tried to make up for it with dessert, but it was like trying to put out a fire with gasoline! I ate a sort of tiramisu (God forgive me for having associated the term tiramisu with that abomination!) with pistachio, with half a ladyfinger not soaked and a pistachio cream that was faker than the fluorescent green one you find inside commercial croissants. Given that it has clearly eliminated quality by focusing everything on quantity, but I would like to point out that I know dozens of Asian restaurants with an "all you can eat" formula where the quality is dozens of times better and where you pay even less (since in the end they took 40 euros per person from us for a lunch that, the icing on the cake, made four fifths of my family sick to their stomachs). I have to give one star, and I'm sorry because the waiter and owner Leonardo was exquisitely nice, but that alone is not enough to lift a kitchen well below the dilapidation.

19/05/2025: What a gem! This restaurant is delicious. The seafood appetizer was fresh and so good. The mussels were tender, the fried baby octopus was delicious, the shrimp was an incredible bite of food. The star of the show however was their Orechiette L’Isola d’Oro (€20). It was a beautiful truffle cream sauce with shrimp and squash blossoms coating perfectly cooked orechiette. Worth. Every. Dollar. The portion was also huge, and we struggled to finish one plate between two people. It has been our favorite meal so far. Truly delicious and I cannot recommend it enough.

15/05/2025: I had an incredible dining experience at L'Isola d'Oro in Rome. I ennjoyed the seafood platter, the seafood rice and the pasta with shimps and truffles, was exceptional -rich, aromatic and beautiful presented. The staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend L'Isola d'Oro for anyone looking to indulge in high-quality seafood and authentic Italian flavors. A truly memorable culinary experience!

06/06/2025: The best Neapolitan pizza I've eaten in Rome, with a stuffed crust, fabulous and imaginative flavors and the pizza is very soft, fluffy, the place is very nice and welcoming. You have to book days in advance because it's always full.

03/06/2025: Very good flavors, very nice environment with some off-menu treats. Education and professionalism. I took the fettuccine with mushrooms, a stuffed artichoke, the desserts. All promoted for an experience with many well-balanced flavors.

31/05/2025: Pleasant surprise at the end of an exciting morning, during the ceremony of delivery of the furnishings to the Passoscuro palliative care center. We continued the day in this welcoming restaurant, savoring the joy of what we had managed to achieve. Lunch was high quality, tasty and well cooked, with very fresh fish. We were pampered by the owner and his family, who made us feel at home. Congratulations!

11/04/2025: Mmmh, it can improve and go back to how it once was. The service, I was about to give one star, because one of the waiters was a bit "scruffy", without uniform, it seemed like he didn't like serving. I also worked in catering and I was always with a smile even in the worst moments. The place needs to be improved in its furnishings. The food is ok, a little more character in the dishes wouldn't hurt. I have faith that he can improve. However, I recommend going to eat the mussels and other delicacies.
