11/01/2026: We went a week ago, and had carbonara and matriciana. It was good, but I recommend getting a portion for two. The kids had burgers, which were also pretty good. The guy who served us was very friendly.

08/03/2026: Good morning, I'm very sorry to give an overall negative review of a renowned restaurant I've frequented over the years, but I've noticed a marked decline, especially in attendance, which is reflected in the atmosphere during dinner. The table service is impeccable, but we were directed to the back room, where the crowd was unpleasant, as if we'd been judged to be of the same standard. Then another table was occupied by people who were again unsuitable for the environment. The food was obviously good, but not up to expectations. I'd like to revise a few things.

08/02/2026: I've been a customer for twenty years, but now they're overdoing it. If you want to stay hungry, this has become the ideal place. Raw fish costs €50 for three small pieces. Garnished with a slice of apple. A fish steak, max 100g, costs €50. €170 for two, without wine. And on the way out, you'll have to find somewhere to eat.

11/01/2026: If you come to Rome, this is not the place for you. I ordered pasta arrabbiata and it tasted like supermarket macaroni with Solis tomato sauce, plus it was incredibly hard… I left half the plate. They charged us €40.50 for the awful pasta, a pepperoni pizza, a beer, and water. The beer costs €8. There are a thousand better places in Rome to eat real Italian food; this is poor quality. We went on a Sunday night and we were the only customers… DEFINITELY DON'T COME HERE.

07/12/2025: Driven by my Spanish girlfriend's desire to try a scampi cream risotto, we chose this restaurant in Anzio. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different. The risotto was disappointing: the rice was still hard, the creaminess was almost nonexistent, and the dish overall lacked authentic flavor. For €20, I would have expected higher quality. The cooked appetizer was decent, but the presence of some fish bones in one dish further compromised the experience, putting us off ordering more. I didn't try the other dishes, which certainly deserved better, but based on what I ate, I wouldn't return. It's a shame, because I expected a higher standard from Anzio.

05/01/2026: A friend took me to this restaurant for lunch. I was a bit skeptical at first, but as I tasted the dishes, I became more and more convinced that I was in a good restaurant. The appetizer was good, very simple but with well-defined flavors. The seafood scialatiello was excellent, making it a real mop-up, and the mixed grill was also good as a main course. The meal concluded with an excellent sorbet. I would, however, point out one negative aspect that I didn't like: the table next to us was served the same appetizer, but in significantly larger quantities and with an extra dish that we were denied. The service was also quite slow, although this may be due to the staff's vacation period. Overall, I recommend this restaurant for the quality of its cuisine, but I would suggest greater attention be paid to ensuring equal treatment for all customers.

26/09/2025: We tried the restaurant, staying at the hotel, with the à la carte menu. The view is the most beautiful on Ponza, a marvelous terrace overlooking Chiaia di Luna beach. The menu is different for lunch and dinner, both satisfying. The prices are obviously high, but for the location and the quality, they're justified. The service is perfect, very professional. For dinner, we tried the fried calamari and grilled calamari on a potato cake, both excellent. The salad was also a surprise. The dessert was a bit disappointing. For lunch, the spaghetti with clams and bottarga was excellent. And so was the seafood salad. A feast for the eyes and the palate.

20/09/2025: Let me start by saying that I'm not interested in denigrating anyone, but rather in encouraging improvement. I'm giving it two stars because you expect more from a four-star hotel restaurant. The location isn't enough—it's very beautiful, and the ambiance is also very good—but the rest is needed. The service could be improved, especially regarding the cutlery arrangement and maintaining the same non-standard servings for two people. Then there's the food. A dish that "ran out" at 8:30 PM should be removed from the menu, and you shouldn't wait to be asked to tell us so. We ordered two first courses, which, based on their names, raised certain expectations, but the flavors were very distant and basic (the base was tomato, and that was basically all we could taste). Then there was the fried fish, which left us unsure about the freshness of the fish, but that's an unprovable feeling. Then there was the side salad (mixed salad with citrus and dried fruit) that tasted like coarsely chopped, bagged salad from the supermarket. With water and a half bottle of white wine, we paid over €100 for two. Now, if you want to stay in that price range you have to raise the quality bar!

08/02/2026: The restaurant is quite spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is pleasant. There's indoor parking, but if you arrive late, you might not find a spot because there aren't enough parking spaces to accommodate the restaurant. Overall, the food isn't bad, but I found the pinsa to be very hard to digest compared to other restaurants.

25/02/2026: Quiet restaurant in a residential neighborhood,mostly local crowd. Not a touristy place, go there if you are looking for upscale, good quality food. Simple ambiance but excellent friendly service, English spoken. Assortment of freshly caught seafood and fish. Delicious food and out do this world dessert. Not cheap but worth it!

29/12/2025: It was Monday, December 22nd, so the atmosphere and environment were chaotic... slow and confusing service... but the food was exquisite, with top-notch presentation and top-quality ingredients!

11/12/2025: The restaurant's location isn't great, but it's clean and well-kept, with a refined interior and tables spaced apart. It's well-attended and not too noisy. The dishes? Truly excellent and refined: the sea bass and fresh porcini carpaccio is beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. The wine is very good. The service is impeccable. Overall, I recommend it, but be careful, it's not a cheap place: for two of us, we spent over €100 without exaggerating, and for two, we had two appetizers, one first course, and a generous second course.

Furthermore, the quality of the food is truly excellent, with generous portions. We ordered an appetizer and a first course and were very satisfied. Not to mention the welcome appetizer: highly appreciated!

16/11/2025: Delicious dinner, attentive and very kind staff. We had a long wait for the main course, but the place was crowded and they gave us a discount for the wait, which isn't something every restaurant offers. Fair price, excellent guinea fowl and tagliata. We'll be back!

15/01/2026: We've known Amelindo restaurant for many years. My grandparents used to come here for dinner when they returned from America. The restaurant has changed since then, but the quality of the seafood has remained the same. What strikes me is the cleanliness and speed of service. The proximity to the sea is also worth considering.
