01/07/2026: Professional, excellent food, good prices.

22/06/2026: Pappamondo restaurant is highly recommended. And there's a reason, actually, several. First of all, the excellent cuisine, featuring traditional dishes and more. Then the service, fast and friendly. And finally, the icing on the cake, the atmosphere. In fact, the interior is more of a small museum of wonders than a restaurant, where you can find everything from old mannequins and telephones to typewriters. Maybe the owner has a passion for collecting? I don't know, but I found it delightful. Whenever I can, I go there with colleagues for lunch, partly because it offers an excellent, reasonably priced set menu, from which you can choose a first course, a second course, and a side dish. Alternatively, you can order à la carte. Reservations are recommended.

14/07/2026: The food was absolutely outstanding, full of flavor, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. The prices were very fair, especially considering the quality. We also ate at several highly rated restaurants in the center of Rome with thousands of reviews and much higher prices, but none of them came close to the taste and quality of the food here. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious food at a fair price, this place is definitely worth visiting. We would happily come back!

06/07/2026: Yesterday I went for lunch and I was pleased to discover that they also had fish. I asked for a risotto with scampi cream, the cream made by Carmelo, I have never eaten such good rice. Then they recommended an octopus salad and here it surpassed itself: an octopus salad on a bed of potatoes with parsley accompanied by mussels and prawns, superb. Keep it up, please.

06/08/2026: The emergency exit is *blocked* by a table and two chairs!! After what happened in Switzerland, this is the first thing to check when going to a public place!

31/07/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant two nights ago and were really pleased. The food was fantastic: we had a delicious and plentiful grilled fish dish, and an incredible swordfish au gratin... I've never tasted so good! Special praise goes to the restaurant owners: very kind, welcoming, and attentive to food allergies and intolerances. Unfortunately, this isn't a treatment available everywhere, so we really appreciated it. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

24/06/2026: First time at this restaurant, located inside the Tor Vergata Shopping Center, where we often go. One Saturday, we happened to be there around lunchtime, and my husband and I decided to try the kebab. I (a vegetarian) was tempted by the vegetarian options on the menu. I must say we were both so pleased that we'll return next time we have the opportunity. The packaging is attractive, colorful, and very practical, the logo is colorful and inviting, the food is delicious, the fillings you can add or subtract to your liking, the fries are top-notch, and the prices are fair. 100% recommended.

12/07/2026: We were supposed to spend a day in Civitavecchia, and the restaurant made it super. What we ordered exceeded our expectations. Tagliolini with clams, fried cuttlefish with honey, and scialatielli alla Nassa were truly delicious. We also thank the lady who owns the restaurant, who treated us exceptionally well. There were four adults and two little girls. One little girl even had a second helping of tagliolini...

11/07/2026: We stopped by just before opening, and the restaurant was completely empty. A waiter greeted us, and I explained that we wanted to have a quick meal and would be finished within two hours. Instead of simply seating us, he said he needed to ask the manager. The manager was standing on his phone, didn’t even bother to look up at us, and simply told the waiter “no.” No greeting, no explanation, no basic courtesy. That level of disrespect is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. I’ve spent more than 30 years in the restaurant business, and I know that poor management sets the tone for the entire staff. Hospitality starts with leadership, and this restaurant clearly lacks it. If this is how they treat potential customers before they’re even seated, I have no interest in finding out what the dining experience would be like. Customer service matters, and restaurants that fail to treat guests with basic respect don’t deserve their business. In my experience, American hospitality sets a much higher standard for welcoming and valuing customers than what we encountered here in Italy and Spain.

12/06/2026: It's a restaurant you always want to return to, and it never disappoints. Everything is planned down to the smallest details. I recommend it.

05/08/2026: We came here on our last night in Rome with a group of 8. They easily sat us, had friendly service, and the food was made to order. Everything we ordered was cooked perfect and had good flavor. This is a family-owned kitchen and it showed. The one guy seemed intrigued that we were American, and probably thought we couldn't understand him when he talked about my step daughter as we were leaving. 🫠
