05/12/2025: We were guests at Hotel Poseidon and made a reservation at Il Tridente expecting a safe, professional dining experience. Instead, my family endured an incident that could have killed my son, paired with some of the worst behavior I have ever witnessed from a manager in hospitality. We clearly informed the staff that my son has a nut allergy. Despite this, they placed a starter breadbasket on our table with no explanation whatsoever—and it contained nuts. My son took a bite, unknowingly. Only 20 minutes later did a waiter return with a “nut-free” basket and admit the first one had nuts. We had not been told, warned, or advised at any point. I raced up the entire property—multiple elevators and several flights of stairs—to grab his emergency medication. Anyone familiar with allergies knows that within minutes, this mistake could have become deadly. My son’s life was put at risk because the staff failed one of the most basic responsibilities of a restaurant. But what made this experience truly appalling was the manager. His behavior was not just unprofessional—it was shockingly rude, dismissive, defensive, and outright hostile. As I explained what had happened, he repeatedly cut me off, raised his voice, and insisted his staff “would never” make such an error. He acted as if I was the problem for daring to bring up a life-threatening mistake. The waiter himself then stepped in and admitted the truth, proving the manager wrong. Even after being confronted with the facts, the manager still showed zero remorse. No apology. No concern. No accountability. Not even basic human decency while I was shaking and trying to ensure my son was safe. His attitude added a level of emotional distress that was completely unnecessary during an already terrifying situation. For a restaurant positioned as fine dining, this was an absolute disgrace. Mistakes can happen—but the way management chooses to handle them reveals everything about an establishment. And this manager showed a level of arrogance and indifference that is completely unacceptable in any setting, let alone one where guests’ lives are at stake. I will never return, and I strongly warn any family with food allergies—or anyone who expects even minimal respect or compassion—to avoid this restaurant entirely. No parent should have to fight with a manager while fearing for their child’s safety.

05/12/2025: Best place on our stop to Postitano. Great views, food and service! Get ready for an uphill hike, we were gassed! But it was well worth it!

05/03/2026: We only had drinks when it wasn't the tourist season, but the restaurant was completely empty, which we understand. The waitress was nice, she even brought us some local bread, but the Aprel spritz and limoncello spritz were almost not very impressive and, considering the prices for the food, they were a total rip-off.

09/03/2026: We went to Il Limoneto Restaurant in Vietri sul Mare with a very large group (over 50 people) and had made a reservation. The restaurant was packed, and the wait was quite long. The atmosphere was very noisy, and with so many people, we were a bit crowded at the tables. As for lunch, however, there was nothing to complain about: the food was good and plentiful. Overall, a good experience, even if a bit chaotic.

01/03/2026: A lovely, family-friendly atmosphere: lunch under a lemon grove. Sure, the view isn't the best, but you won't even think about it when you're dining with beautiful lemons and the delicious aromas surrounding you. Worth a visit at least once... and a return visit, too.

Menu: 4/5 Good seafood selection, varied and high-quality, carefully prepared. Service: 4/5 Attentive, professional, and efficient, even with large tables. Bill: 4/5 Excellent value for money.

02/02/2026: Beautiful location, very large room, there are even 2, one downstairs and one upstairs, friendly staff, very good food, the only flaw perhaps is the parking which then forces you to walk up a small hill.

22/01/2026: Spectacular!!!!!!!! The food is divine, the welcome and service excellent... It's not the first time I've been there for family events and other things..... The staff is kind, polite, professional... The owners make you feel at home, they are wonderful!.... I'll go again for my son's communion!!!! I absolutely recommend it. Whatever you want to eat is divine!!!!! It's all delicious!

22/02/2026: A seafood restaurant where my wife and I occasionally return for a delicious seafood dinner. Small but welcoming, the staff are attentive, friendly, and helpful. The quality of the dishes is excellent. It's always a pleasure to return.

31/01/2026: Authentic seafood trattoria, with fresh fish and carefully prepared dishes. The purple gnocchi, lustrinelli, and fried fish are truly excellent. Friendly service and a simple, authentic atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

09/03/2026: Lovely place, really good food! We loved the local fish and seafood as well as the pizza and the wonderful dessert. And the people running the restaurant are just lovely and welcoming. Thank you for hosting us!

15/02/2026: I was very dissatisfied with the service. We were rushed to order, and after just five minutes, the staff were clearly annoyed, rolling their eyes, etc. Any questions were met with irritated reactions. The wine was brought to us by a 13 or 14-year-old who filled my girlfriend's glass almost to the brim and kept getting uncomfortably close to her (due to COVID). The food was okay, but we ate and, more importantly, sat much better at Atrani. In the end, we were presented with a significantly higher bill, which they claimed was a mistake. Well, we didn't really believe that, especially since we also received too little change. It's a shame; we didn't have a pleasant evening. The service was truly unacceptable, and I think this is the first time I've ever written something like this in a review.

27/01/2026: Was pretty dissapointed the food was alright,but we wanted to sit outside near the water and we're attacked by flies so bad we had to switch to inside seats.

03/11/2025: Cute, vibey spot by the water with great views and a welcoming staff. The grandpa/owner was more than welcoming, and we felt like family. Half bottles of wine was nice as well. Wow. Get the grilled anchovies. Youll thank me later. All the pasta were cooked perfectly and the seafood tasted amazingly fresh. Probably one of the most fresh ones we’ve had on the trip. Its a bit out of the way for most, but it seems to be a nice hidden gem/locals spot. Definitely coming back here next time we’re in amalfi coast.

12/12/2025: Amazing authentic pasta and superb service! We had to come back a second time to try out the pizza which was also delicious. You can’t beat the views either.
