25/07/2025: Buon ristorante direttamente sul mare , qualità buona e personale competente e gentile soprattutto il proprietario . Ottimo per una cena sia romantica che in compagnia ascoltando la brezza del mare .
19/07/2025: Ci ha consigliato questo posto una persona di Praiano ma non siamo rimasti particolarmente soddisfatti. Sicuramente la location è bella ma lo era anche dalla spiaggia. Essendo al mare volevamo un pasto leggero, così abbiamo preso le linguine agli scampi (22eur), ma gli scampi non mi sembravano freschi, infatti erano stracotti e non sapevano di mare. La frittura di calamari uguale, non croccante come dovrebbe essere e molto poco abbondante per stare 20eur. Il pane anche quello un po' duro e pesante. Non abbiamo preso altro anche perché per noi prezzi e la qualità non erano in linea.

03/08/2025: Il miglior ristorante di Positano, cucina ottima, tutti i piatti che abbiamo preso sono stati buonissimi e gli ingredienti sono di altissima qualità, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo per trovarci a Positano, il tutto è incorniciato da una vista splendida sul mare e un’atmosfera unica. Un piacere aver scoperto questo ristorante nel quale ritornerò sicuramente.

29/07/2025: Wonderful experience! I'm celiac and was looking for a place to eat that could offer something for me. I called the restaurant, and they promptly reassured me that the entire menu was available gluten-free. When I arrived, I was greeted by the very kind and helpful waiters, who quickly served me a delicious plate of ziti with tuna Genovese, fried fish, and sandwiches. There's also the option of a gluten-free dessert, but the abundance of dishes made it difficult. I'll definitely try that next time. Highly recommended!
29/07/2025: We were greeted by the very kind staff. The food was excellent, the terrace well-kept, clean, and pleasant. Even my celiac daughter was able to dine, choosing any dish from the menu, which was then prepared gluten-free for her.

The dishes are high-quality and delicious. From starter to dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. One of the best restaurant experiences in Salerno. PS: Remember to make a reservation. 03/08/2025: Questo ristorante è semplicemente uno dei migliori che abbia mai provato. Lo chef Giorgio è in grado di cucinare il pesce fresco come in pochi sanno fare. Consiglio vivamente di provare la degustazione dello chef, il rapporto qualità prezzo é assolutamente in linea con ciò che il ristorante offre. Servizio impeccabile da parte di tutto il personale impiegato. Complimenti a tutti, torneremo sicuramente presto!

25/08/2025: Worth all the hype and a real highlight of our trip. I would recommend this to anyone. Despite the fact that almost everyone in the restaurant was a tourist, it still felt like we had all stumbled upon a kind of secret adventure. No part of the experience felt slick or corporate or “touristy”. The staff are friendly and expressive, running up and down the stone steps in bare feet with plates groaning with beautiful food. The prices and specials are still scrawled on a chalk board. There are several cats roaming around who our waiter knew by name. There were as many Italian voices as there were international ones, and people were recognising each other and catching up. Ride the cute boat, eat the delicious food, relax on the private beach, soak up the atmosphere. You won’t regret it! Top tips: book online before you go, and bring a parasol for the beach if you’re sensitive to the sun. There’s no natural shade and it faces the south.
24/08/2025: We had a fabulous time at Da Adolfo! All the negative reviews here are a disgrace and must come from people who haven’t done their research on the schedule of the boat, the prices for the beach, or how to book a table. We booked our table 10 days before traveling to Positano with no issues at all. We requested a table for lunch, two sunchairs and a parasol for the day which were set up as we requested. When we got to the beach, we went up to the bar and ordered some coffee. They’ve just opened up so we had to wait a couple of minutes for the machine to heat up, but were served excellent cappuccini! Our lunch was superb! Excellent! It literally made me shed a tear of joy. We had Tuna Carpaccio, Parmigiana and Aglio e Olio. The pasta was al dente and had a really nice balance between the garlic, herbs and olive oil. The parmigiana was the best I’ve ever had in my entire life - I actually felt sad I didn’t get a portion for myself but had to munch up the leftovers of my girl. When we asked for a dessert recommendation, they suggested we order the lemon tiramisu and boy o boy… The following account actually happened)… After we finished the main course, the sun hid itself behind the clouds and some raindrops fell through the fabric above us. But when the waiter brought out the lemon tiramisu and the very first bite touched my gums, the sun came out again. It was the most delightful dessert we’ve had on our trip to Italy this year, and it felt like god himself was lighting up the sky from above and within. The flavors of this tiramisu captured to essence of Campania. Bite by bite we were lured more and more into la dolce vita and tipped our hat to the chef and his staff. WOW! What a food experience. If you are going to Positano, book a table in advance. There is also a way of booking a table without calling… (research goes a long way 😉) Don’t go to the pier and ask for a free ride as they won’t take you there without a reservation. Also: If you want to show some respect to the workers at the bar, learn the most basic words and phrases in Italian. This goes a very very long way and will make your overall experience so much more pleasurable. Don’t be a stereotypical American or German tourist by expecting them to speak your language. Even if they do… you’re a guest in their country and at their restaurant. Have some dignity, respect and you will be treated with such! 11/10 recommendation! Would and will come again.

06/07/2025: My husband I were in Italy for almost 3 weeks and this was easily our top third best restaurant we ate at! The pizza was out of this world as was the linguine zucchini dish. I tried to get the recipe but no luck so I’ll have to try to recreate it at home from memory. This restaurant is a must!

03/06/2025: 06/2025 a good place to eat, both as a reception and as a normal occasion at the restaurant. Food truly to be praised especially for the flavor of the tagliatelle allo scoglio, and also for the dishes with cod in different cooking methods. I would have found a flaw, the coffee served in paper cups. From a restaurant in Campania I would not have expected it, but perhaps it is I who do not know certain procedures. Affability certainly present in abundance, and therefore the flaw manifested can be overcome.

Complimenti senza dubbio alla cucina: tutto quello che ho preso era ottimo, dalle bruschette con i moscardini alla grigliata mista, peraltro mai vista una grigliata così ricca da nessuna parte fino ad ora. Un abbraccio forte a Mamma Rosa che con la sua grinta gira per i tavoli e ti fa sentire come se fossi a cena dalla nonna!! Complimenti, tanti e di cuore. Tornerò senza ombra di dubbio.

29/07/2025: Having heard from several friends about a place where the food is good, I chose this place, confident I wouldn't go wrong. The place is beautiful, the service is exquisite, but it fell short of expectations. The fish is excellent, but the first courses are disappointing; the experience is lacking. We shared a swordfish appetizer with eggplant cream. The fish was excellent, but the eggplant lacked something to enhance and enhance the swordfish. The two first courses were good and edible, but I would have added a tarallo-style crunch to the spaghetti with anchovy sauce, and some anchovies and marjoram to enhance the flavor. The pasta with Cetarese pesto is missing a spice other than basil, garlic, oil, and pine nuts. It needed a crunchy touch with almonds and thyme, along with some dried tomato powder. Serving someone who cooks is difficult, and I understand. We didn't choose the second course for fear of being disappointed again. Anyway, thanks for serving us.
