03/11/2025: Cute, vibey spot by the water with great views and a welcoming staff. The grandpa/owner was more than welcoming, and we felt like family. Half bottles of wine was nice as well. Wow. Get the grilled anchovies. Youll thank me later. All the pasta were cooked perfectly and the seafood tasted amazingly fresh. Probably one of the most fresh ones we’ve had on the trip. Its a bit out of the way for most, but it seems to be a nice hidden gem/locals spot. Definitely coming back here next time we’re in amalfi coast.

08/10/2025: Great food, you gotta take a water taxi there, it’s free with their shuttle with red fish at certain times but if you wanna leave early like us gotta pay for way back 30E. Well worth it tho, rustic local cuisine, friendly service. Polpo salad was delish.

30/09/2025: The boat transfer is a mini trip in itself and a nice way to see Positano and the surrounding area from the water. A nice beach for swimming. In my opinion they shouldn't charge extra for their deck chairs, but the Italian's overcharge for every possible opportunity, which they should improve upon. We had a few different grilled seafood dishes and they were excellent. The side of grilled vegetables was small. Overall a nice day out. It's a minimum half day activity as the return only starts from 4 pm.

09/11/2025: Thanks to a gathering, I discovered this wonderful place. On Saturday evening, I and friends enjoyed a dinner with pizza samples and platters of cured meats and cheeses, which we thoroughly enjoyed. On Sunday, with a large group of well over 50 people, we sampled the courtesy, patience of the staff, and the deliciousness of the food! Definitely worth repeating!

10/09/2025: This pizzeria and restaurant isn't easy to get to, but it's definitely worth it! Generous, no-frills home-style cooking, delicious pizzas, a rustic atmosphere, and friendly, efficient staff. And finally, the prices are incredibly fair. Bravo!

01/12/2025: My mother paid $1200 for accommodations that were falsely represented online. Avoid this place at all costs. They are not to be trusted. Response to the owners reply: You have replied trying to spin the story in your favour, when in reality this is false. My mother, the lady you are referring too, booked a room via a third party booking site, and the pictures she saw (and showed me, not to mention you uploaded to said site) which featured two seperate rooms, but, when we arrived, the room was a single bed room with a sofa. We then proceeded to ask for the room we paid for from the images shown to us before and you denied and said that was the room... which it wasn't. This is false advertising and a scam. Buyer beware, and do not listen to this disgrace of a business owner. Shame on you for scamming an older lady out of $1200 for an accommodation she didn't even get to stay at, and for false misrepresentation of your accodomations online. Which also by the way, are not accessible for disabled people such as my mother, and also you said you'd assist her entry and then left her to her own devices, you also then charged her 30 euros for a 7 minute ride stating that she "can't use taxi's because they are all busy" and that you "know a personal driver who can take her" to then taking her yourself and charging her for that too. She told me all about this and I'm extremely infuriated about how you treated an older lady in a foreign country. Despicable. If you'd like to be a man and a real business owner and refund her, then we can speak about removing this truth from your page if you so wish to hide your wrong doings.

28/11/2025: We'd like to thank everyone at the Pesce d'Oro Bed and Breakfast for their hospitality and for doing everything they could to make us happy during our stay. The property has private parking, is just a few kilometers from Amalfi, and is conveniently located for reaching various tourist destinations or the Path of the Gods. The breakfast is delicious, especially the lemon cake. The lemon house at the back of the hotel is spectacular. We'll have to return in the warmer months to try the restaurant. Thank you so much, Laura and Marco.

14/12/2025: Typical trattoria, but they made us wait 45 minutes before ordering. It's just a shame that two obviously closeted ladies arrived after us and were immediately served. Even the 6-year-old noticed. The spaghetti wasn't quite up to our standards and was super sticky, I repeat, super sticky. There's no denying that. Too bad. The icing on the cake was me feeling a bit nauseous and the little girl threw up in my bed after an hour!! Thank you so much, next time, if there is one, I'll come with the two recommended ladies. Experience is the best teacher. I should point out that we arrived at 7:20 PM and at 8:10 PM they asked us what to eat, especially because the little girl, after seeing the ladies who arrived after us eating and drinking, started to get restless, hungry and thirsty. Merry Christmas to you. Sa sa pronto prova!!!

30/11/2025: Make sure you walk back up to the lemon grove as you enjoy the fine food. We were greeted by the owner - Carlo - who personally set up our table for 6. DELICIOUS!! I bought his book of fine recipes and will email him a picture of my first effort. You MUST try his excellent restaurant. Paul (visiting from Wisconsin/USA). Hello Carlo DeFilippo - today (November 29, 2025) I made the Penne con Salmone e Vodka from the book that I bought from you and everyone loved it. You would have been proud of me. Your restaurant was our favorite. GRAZIE!!

06/10/2025: Caution - Do not eat here. We just ate here and my wife has been puking her brains out within an hour of eating here. The service was also not great. The food obviously, not good considering the food poisoning. Also, the amount of cat pee everywhere outside and in the bathrooms was nauseating

05/10/2025: We enjoyed having a very delicious dinner. I had the grilled tuna and my beautiful wife had grilled chicken with basmati rice and vegetables on the side. We enjoyed the place, the music and the hospitality. Very highly recommended to everyone.

07/09/2025: An experience to forget. I was with my family the other evening. We asked for a clam first course and were told that clams were "out of season." (In my opinion, a high-end restaurant shouldn't be in trouble for such a request, and clams shouldn't be that hard to find.) We were served two first courses: paccheri alla genovese with tuna and provola mousse: bland and tasteless pasta, with barely a hint of provola and seafood bark, including, among other things, mussels (which are indeed out of season here) and shrimp that were more than miniature. The same seafood (mussels and miniature shrimp) was also served in the fish soup, which was also flavorless, bland, and devoid of aroma. To avoid further disappointment, we skipped the fried calamari and shrimp and opted for the cuttlefish strips (it looked like squid) with curry, but again, we were disappointed by the unbalanced sweet and sour mix. The wine list and location are worth saving (but the view doesn't match the food). The service was a bit chaotic (we were told they were short-staffed in September).

16/11/2025: WHAT a discovery!! Just off the main pedestrian street in the town centre, from outside the place looks very small whereas they have a large side area so plenty of room. We went for lunch on a Sunday and we will visit again for sure!. Nello himself does the greetings (he is from Naples so the food is also Naples based) and is a very charming host, then a very happy lady came and took our order. We ordered food and drink and despite the number of customers the food arrived quite quickly. We both chose the "Genovese" pasta which is pasta in a special meat sauce and was totally delicious, plus a side plate of broccoli. Together with a carafe of the house red wine (which was also good) we spent a princely 23 Euro per head, EXCELLENT value for money for sure.

09/11/2025: We found ourselves in the alleys of Castellabate by chance and noticed this restaurant... the lady's welcome makes you feel right at home, and Mr. Nello's sweetness is the best. We ordered stuffed zucchini flowers and stuffed anchovies, oh so delicious. Spaghetti with clams and pasta and seafood beans were incredibly delicious, with fresh, quality ingredients; we had to mop up the sauce with the bread. I truly recommend it; everything was delicious.

09/12/2025: In Agropoli, the journey from freshly caught fish to cooked food has never been so short. Courtesy, kindness, quality, and affordability.

28/10/2025: Excellent fishmonger's shop, clean and tidy: neat and logical display of products for sale; plus, you can order takeout fish-based first courses, second courses, and side dishes, according to a daily menu. As they say: caught, cooked, and eaten!

20/11/2025: Excellent stay, comfortable room, excellent breakfast, all amenities available. Very helpful staff. The location is also magnificent, with beautiful views from the rooms and the veranda (breakfast).

09/10/2025: Don’t bother if you want good food or good service. But if you want a charming location it’s pretty good. All in all probably our worst meal in Italy.
