19/10/2024: Il posto bellissimo è il personale gentile ci siamo accomodati in terrazza. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto della casa un polipo arrostito. Qualità media Poi una grigliata mista e un orata in padella ai frutti di mare. Purtroppo aveva un cattivo odore, non doveva essere fresco, la carne bianca era molliccia e non integra il pesce era 700g. Occorre una maggiore attenzione sul pescato del giorno e consigliare magari le scelte. Delusione non credo torneremo più

02/02/2025: Historic restaurant in Pestum. Elegant and spacious location, with a beautiful external veranda. Typical local dishes prepared with quality raw materials. Excellent and fast service. We tasted buffalo mozzarella with tomato frisella, fried food, spaghetti with clams, artichoke meatballs, and to finish on a sweet note, pistachio and chocolate semifreddo and puff pastry with buffalo ricotta and dried fig jam. All very good. Advised

16/03/2025: I was work in luxury Hospitality.. And here in this small village i eat the best food i ever eat in my life.. I meet many famous cooks who was payed by milions euro..shame..they not deserve that money!! After this lunch im shure that here at Il Ritrivo restourant i eat the best food ever!! Even better then my mom cook..even better then every "famous" cook made. Im so exsited to say this. Bravo again!!! Bravo!!

21/03/2025: I always gladly return to this original restaurant that calls itself an Osteria. Essential but very relaxing environment, located a few meters from the seafront. Superlative staff, impeccable service, (the very sweet Roberta is truly an added value..) Seafood dishes cooked artfully and with attention by a young chef who through his specialties transmits his great passion for this hard work. I hope to return soon..

06/01/2025: Può migliorare,tra i 3/4 locali migliori a Capaccio/Paestum pranzo in famiglia domenica,locale sulla strada,senza parcheggio ma facile trovare posto, ,antipato misto mare con 4 portate, (abbondante €.30,00) primi ben fatti e secondo spigola,con piccola defaillance,domenicale,proposto dal cameriere e da noi ordinata spigola al sale, dice 2,5 kg,e'arrivato senza farlo mai vedere intero,sfilettato nei piatti probabilmente era stato cotto al forno,nessun granello di sabbia e condimento tipico di pesce al forno, grande cantina e prezzi decisamente troppo alti, per bellezza locale,servizio con poco personale (piatti vuoti sul tavolo per oltre un'ora), buona esperienza se si è disponibili a spendere tanto!

21/12/2024: Vengo ormai da diversi anni, e posso dire, oramai con fondata esperienza, che questo posto è l' esempio di come fare ristorazione! In primis, tutto ciò che viene proposto al cliente proviene da una rigorosa selezione di materie prime, e non arriva a tavola se non fresco, ed a kilometri, a volte metri, zero! L' oste, Saverio, ma anche chi collabora con lui, a partire dalla splendida consorte, ti accoglieranno con schiettezza, sincerità, amore per ciò che fanno. Il padre di Saverio è un' Istituzione, ed il corretto rappresentante di una terra meravigliosa quale il Golfo di Policastro. Cosa scegliere? Tutto! Perché se non è buono, fresco e ben cucinato, Saverio a tavola non ve lo porta! Top assoluto, per quanto mi riguarda!

The welcoming environment with attention to the smallest details, perfect for spending a pleasant evening. The food was really great with well prepared dishes and quality ingredients The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff. Another plus was the music, which helped create an even more special atmosphere. Overall, a more than positive experience: I absolutely recommend this restaurant and I will be happy to return.

28/03/2025: Se ti piacciono le alici qui troverai piatti strepitosi!! Locale minuscolo ma grazioso. Ospitalità e belli i colori bianco e blu dell’apparecchiatura. Consiglio scialatielli con pomodorini gialli e colatura: ottimi!

17/12/2024: Tornare al Pinguino ne vale sempre la pena, dopo una accoglienza gentile e professionale, ci accomodiamo per gustare alcuni dei piatti proposti dallo chef. Incominciamo con tranci di focaccia con pomodorini , per accompagnare del baccalà , delle crocchette insieme a delle verdure grigliate con salumi e della provola affumicata, insieme ad un ottimo antipasto di mare. Primi dagli spaghetti ai frutti di mare al tris di gnocchi, fusilli e crespolini cotti in una terrina nel forno delle pizze. Secondi di carne e di pesce di ottima qualità. Volevamo assaggiare la pizza impastata con il lievito madre ma era troppo. Dolci della casa buonissimi fra tutti la crostata ricotta e limone. Prezzo qualità più che ottimo
