11/08/2024: Local with splendid location directly under the Odescalchi Castle on the square. The restaurant is welcoming and modern as is its menu. I was not satisfied with the dishes and their execution. I didn't like the octopus with ketchup at all, nor did I like the tagliolini with squid ink, little seafood flavor and too strong acidity tones. The menu is decent and the composition of the dishes is excellent but lacks substance and combination of flavors to be reviewed. 😉

30/07/2024: Typical restaurant, overlooking the Odescalchi castle. Soft and relaxing atmosphere, refined, sophisticated and tasty dishes. Traditional menu too revisited for my tastes. Excellent price quality.

10/08/2024: Abbiamo provato questo locale attirati dal cambio di gestione. Proposte molto valide, materie prima di qualità, il servizio è un po’ da migliorare. Devo dire la quantità di vino servita al calice e’ piuttosto scarsa.

Chef Roberta stands out for her high professionalism, ability and is very attentive to customer needs. On June 18th for my birthday, together with my partner, it allowed us to enjoy unique and particular dishes in a suggestive and relaxing atmosphere. I can only recommend this location

07/08/2024: Nice food. For the first time in my life, there was more fruit than pasta in spaghetti with seafood. It was really tasty. Additionally, there was arugula pizza. She was OK too. Great service. It's obvious they care. I have some comments about live music, it is too loud and fake. Overall, of course, I highly recommend it

03/08/2024: They wanted our main course to come too quickly. We asked to wait. The waiter responded curtly and she gave her ugly looks. That's not a relaxing meal. My pasta was ok...no more, no less.

11/08/2024: My Gnocchetti al nero di seppia con capesante were fantastic. The pizza is nice, not my favourite type of dough though as I like napolitan type. My daughter's Margherita didn't taste only as mozzarella and tomato. It seemed that there was another cheese mixed with the mozzarella. The ambience indoor is very nice and stylish. The service was attentive and fast. Overall a good experience.

08/08/2024: I spent 80 euros to leave hungry, I asked for a fish dish without garlic, impossible to find on the menu. There is no sea view, we were at a table on the corner with the street. For that amount, it's worth going elsewhere for two dinners. I add after reading the response below, that the rudeness of the comments alone, the inability to accept criticism as well.

09/08/2024: Our best experience of a traditional italian restaurant on our trip so far. Firstly, we were not haggled into the restaurant. The staff were happy, helpful, and attentive. The menu was fairly limited, but I feel that's good as chef can concentrate on quality. There was a specials menu in addition. There was a cover charge, but this seems fairly standard in Italy. The cover charge was worth it for the breads, nibbles, oil and balsamic vinegar. The food was delicious! Meals averged around 22 euro some more/less, but it's a tourist area so pretty standard pricing. The Tiramisu was amazing! All in all, it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely go back... and I'm sure we will tomorrow! 😂

08/08/2024: Even though we just wanted a drink, we got a table outside. The waiter was very nice and offered us different grappa to taste, that's a real service! The espresso martini was also extremely tasty! Thank you for the friendly and attentive service!

02/07/2024: La Nassa is a place to dine and enjoy a corner of the historic center of Acireale. Chef Mario puts his heart into all the dishes he prepares with the excellent support of Giusy. Personally I enjoyed an exquisite and impeccable first course. The staff in the dining room, Claudia and Christian, are always attentive and helpful, making you feel at home in every way. Super top. Unquestionable quality/price ratio

21/08/2024: OmG if it's yummy there!!!! In convenient car distance to several "can't miss locations" (Assisi, Citta' Della Pieve, Castiglion del Lago, Perugia, etc), rooms are honest, spacious, ACed and not that expensive!

19/08/2024: Restaurant with excellent quality products processed with respect for their origin and with the right amount of taste appeal to make them modern. Good wine list, courteous and customer-focused staff. I highly recommend, it's worth it.

16/08/2024: The place is nice and the staff very kind, attentive but not intrusive. The menu is made up of a dozen dishes, equally divided between starters, first courses and second courses. (Personally I'm wary of mile-long menus). Wide choice of wines. Plus point: the food is excellent, the ingredients and cooking are excellent. Point against: portions of a starred restaurant. If it were for the quality of the dishes I would certainly give five stars, but we are neither on the Emerald Coast nor on the Ligurian Riviera. My "beef cheek with potatoes and rosemary" is made up of 3 pieces of meat. The "potatoes" are a spoonful of mashed potatoes on the bottom of the beef. We had dinner very calmly, but after 5 minutes we had finished the dishes and the wine was practically all still there. We stayed another half hour to finish it, finishing all the bread in the basket. At the nearby tables the same situation... a family, having finished dinner (after 10') reordered some first courses. We preferred to go to the Corso and get an ice cream... So, if you are not very hungry, you like to eat well and you are those types who manage to exalt/justify diet portions, then go here. If you have children, are hungry, or would simply feel cheated by paying €22 for (1 pound?) of beef, well, look elsewhere.

15/08/2024: After a long time I have the opportunity to dine in this restaurant, I can only speak highly of it, very highly. Courteous and professional service, welcoming, with all the staff very well trained and attentive. The menu is really rich, with a wide choice of fish and typical local dishes. I'm not joking if I say that the au gratin dish (scallops, cannellini beans, mussels and canestrelle) is the best in the last 10 years. Top grill, I also recommend the “Caldone” dish in the photo. Excellent value for money, and the added value, the friendliness and empathy of the owner Mr. Ori.

11/08/2024: Exceptional pasta and fish served here! Started with a mango and lime sashimi which was delicious. Then we had pasta for mains, and the sauce in both was very tasty. We were left cleaning up our bowls with bread!

08/08/2024: Beautiful chalet where you can drink a great Napoletan coffee and eat delicious warm fresh-baked croissants.

08/08/2024: Extremely friendly staff and very attentive to customer needs. Impeccable! Lovely place, exquisite food, fresh fish tartare of the day highly recommended. I ate the amberjack tartare. Also delicious spaghetti with lupins. Cooking also for celiacs. Easily accessible by public transport Super recommended!!!

27/08/2024: An unforgettable lunch! We were passing through Dronero and by chance we stopped here, we ate LEGENDARY castelmagno gnocchi, excellent and exquisitely prepared grilled vegetables and a platter of cheeses, each better than the other. We had a great time! Their house wine is excellent, you can understand the care taken in choosing their products. Highly recommended!
