04/07/2025: I was sorry to know that the restaurant is only open for lunch, I would have gladly returned for dinner because both the food, simple but quality, and the terrace-restaurant overlooking the sea are the characteristics I look for in a holiday and make it more complete. I would say happy. My husband and I came to Bagno Nettuno every day for lunch trying the fried fish (very good), the gnocchetti with scampi (excellent, fresh scampi), the strigoli with cod and cherry tomatoes (a truly welcome discovery). The menu also includes bruschetta, cold dishes, pinse in different flavours. Our compliments to the kitchen and thanks to Mr. Maurizio for the courtesy and availability he reserved for us.

18/06/2025: The quality of the food puts Italy to shame... no desire, no passion. We've been regulars for 20 years, and this is our third attempt in recent years, and we won't be returning.

18/07/2025: It's a shame I can't give you a full refund for your rudeness and dishonesty. They clearly overcharged us for two slices of pizza. When we noticed the mistake (immediately), we pointed it out, and the lady (who doesn't even know the meaning of the word politeness) replied that pizza is charged by weight. It's a shame we paid €8 for two slices of pizza, and the day before, for more than double the pizza plus dessert, we paid €10. If you don't like working with customers, I don't understand why you're forced to. They're all rude and surly (the ones I've encountered over the past few days). You ask a question and they don't answer... absurd! Never again!

18/07/2025: Rudeness and rudeness are the key words to describe my experience as a customer at this establishment. I therefore recommend this bakery not to anyone who appreciates courtesy and wants to be treated with appropriate respect.

06/07/2025: English: We had a great time upon our arrival, very easy parking, the view of the very nicely set tables with a beautiful window caught my attention, especially for the very bright and fresh environment. We were served impeccably with a really good spaghetti with clams, and it had been a long time since I had one like that, the perfectly cooked grilled prawns also arrived clean and practically ready to be eaten, the cheesecake was very good, perhaps a little heavy, but I imagine that the type of milk that is probably used in these areas is richer, the tiramisu was average, my preference is that there is mascarpone and less cream, but the products were very fresh and I really appreciated the bottled water which was particularly good, Sorgesana. We had a great time and will definitely be back. The lady was very kind, we said goodbye with a coffee and I was also offered a very good grappa. I am completely satisfied and will be back soon.

21/06/2025: Terrible experience. Very slow service! We waited 1 hour for the first course to arrive and 1 hour for the dirty plates to be taken away. The second course?? Nothing!!! After another hour we gave up. And yet it is Saturday night and there are only 5 full tables... then everything is empty. And still only one kind waiter, but unfortunately being just a bit inzallanut. In addition, the owner allowed 2 dogs to enter at a table and so far no problem because I love dogs, but she allowed one of them to bark for the entire duration (that is, our 3 hour wait). From 9:00 pm we left at 11:00 pm and we only ate the first courses... including my 5 year old son. I think you are truly the shame of Formia. It is a miracle that you are still open... especially here.

18/07/2025: Die Pizza war sehr gut, das Schweinesteak war gut und der Wein war sehr gut. Service war auch gut. Empfehlenswert. Ggf. muss man etwas Schlange stehen, scheint beliebt zu sein.

16/07/2025: Cena in famiglia in questo ristorante trovato per caso, ma che si è rivelato una bella scoperta. Abbiamo assaggiato primi e secondi, buoni e abbondanti. La pizza, non assaggiata, aveva un bell’aspetto e ci ha invogliato a pensare di tornare per provarla. Sebbene il ristorante fosse molto pieno la cucina ha lavorato in fretta, minimizzando l’attesa, e soprattutto i piatti sono arrivati a tutti i commensali nello stesso momento anche se attribuiti a partite di cucina differenti. Anche il prezzo ci è sembrato molto interessante.

15/05/2025: Mangiare da guerra. Peli nei piatti ,caro come i grandi ristoranti di Napoli, perfetta se non addirittura fantastica la scostumatezza. Conto come la loro scostumatezza. P.s. specialità della casa pelo di f..a, o pelo di c...o, ovvero pelo di capello.

04/05/2025: Trattoria un po’ fuorimano dal solito circuito, ma consigliataci per mangiare la vera cucina napoletana e devo dire che le nostre aspettative sono state esaudite. Ha una terrazza spettacolare sopra Napoli e ha il l’antipasto abbondante, classico napoletano Se vi avanza ancora un pochino di spazio, vi consiglio pasta, patate e provola che loro cavallo di battaglia consigliato e soprattutto non è una trappola per turisti .

14/08/2025: Very pleasant and helpful staff. However, the food doesn't live up to the price, and it's truly a tourist trap. €22 for spaghetti with marinated meat, eggplant, virgin olive oil... It turned out to be the most classic spaghetti with tomato sauce and three meatballs, the same meatballs found in the lasagna... Very disappointed with the quality of the food.

13/08/2025: We should have checked the reviews before choosing this restaurant. The food was very bad. The carbonara was overloaded with cheese and so salty it was inedible. The staff was okay, but they kept pressuring us to order more food.

09/08/2025: Ordinate due fritture e due porzioni di spaghetti alle vongole, la frittura era accettabile, limone non fornito, dovuto chiedere. Gli spaghetti avevano un sapore amaro, inspiegabile cotti male e troppo pieni di gusci di vongole.

03/06/2025: 6 commensali per cena lasciati sotto la pioggia. Nonostante ci vedessero e continuassero a dire “che strano, non dava pioggia”, abbiamo dovuto insistere e chiedere se potessero spostarci o coprirci con l’ombrellone dopo aver assistito ad una sfuriata delle cameriere in mezzo a tutti. Tempi di attesa lunghissimi. Tra l’antipasto e i primi abbiamo aspettato un’ora. Non abbiamo mangiato una portata insieme e ci è arrivato un piatto ogni 10 minuti. Abbiamo ordinato la pasta fresca al pesto e ci è arrivato un piatto di fusilli tipo Barilla al pesto. Vino versato sgocciolando per tutto il tavolo. Caffe servito senza cucchiaini. Le aspettative erano alte dato il menu. Peccato. Non credo ci torneremo. Servizio deludente

05/05/2025: Purtroppo abbiamo beccato una serata un po' storta, perchè la nostra cena è stata un po' confusa e con tempistiche un po' lunghe. E' vero che il ristorante era pieno, ma si è respirata un po' di tensione tra lo staff, che è culminata con la comparsa dello chef in sala per discutere in maniera non proprio garbata con le ragazze della sala (discussione che si è protratta anche in cucina). Anche al momento del conto, abbiamo dovuto attendere l'arrivo di qualcuno perchè lo staff era in cucina, e questi disservizi hanno un po' cambiato il sapore di una cena che altrimenti sarebbe stata di livello discreto. Piatti abbondanti, ottimo il fritto e sapori all'altezza del luogo, ma non so se ci ritorneremo

15/06/2025: My expectations were very high seeing the various advertisements on social media, as soon as we arrived we were told that the crudité would be missing scampi, shrimp, scallops and oysters and replaced with other (excessive) carpaccio cut questionably. The swordfish Livorno style was a swordfish sautéed in a pan with tomatoes absolutely anonymous, very disappointed.

A few negatives: the bathroom needs some attention (the water doesn't drain properly and there's often a sewage smell); the restaurant serves good food, but it's overpriced for the portions. Romantic note: you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves.

06/08/2025: In my review, I want to highlight both the restaurant and the hotel where we stayed for two nights: I'll start by saying that the staff was very kind to us. I found it absolutely overpriced to eat a burrata with Cantabrian sardines for €15. The room was nice, an older model, overlooking the sea (with a beautiful view). The only shame was the strong, unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. The siphon didn't work, so the smell of the sewer was unbearable at times. We also noticed a malfunction on the sink lever, which unfortunately blocked the flow of water constantly, forcing you to touch that obviously dirty sink. The included breakfast was nothing more than a croissant and coffee or cappuccino, which for me was insufficient. The price was completely reasonable for the high season. I'm sure that by fixing these things, the hotel could easily achieve higher reviews.
