One day, however, I decided to go in, simply to have a look without obligation. I was greeted kindly and with a smile, and they said, "Sure, you can look without obligation to buy." From that moment on, everything changed. This fishmonger's shop has now become a daily stop: the staff is always available, HONEST, and TRANSPARENT. They never try to sell at all costs; in fact, they tell you clearly if a 🐟 is from the day before or if it was caught the day before. This HONESTY is RARE and PRECIOUS. THE 🐟 is of excellent quality, DIFFERENT from what you find elsewhere, because they have special suppliers: boats that fish especially for them, guaranteeing freshness and variety. They also offer a KITCHEN service, preparing truly tasty ready-made dishes, allowing you to take home not only fresh but also pre-cooked. 23/10/2025: Loud music was coming from the kitchen, and in the dining room, other loud music was playing, and a television was playing. The young waitress seemed very unmotivated; she was busy on her cell phone, and the cappuccino was cold. Not recommended.

16/08/2025: A terrible experience... we ate pizzas with a strangely sweet dough... therefore, no salt. I ordered a pizza and received a completely different one, which I sent back. The tragedy, however, came with the bill, where they charged, or at least attempted to charge, us for the pizza they had made the mistake... which we promptly had deducted... 12 euros for nothing. (And they knew this very well when we requested it.) Finally, as if that weren't enough... two one-year-olds in this restaurant were charged a 3-euro cover charge (for what, for the use of the space?) When we pointed this out at the cashier, the husband and wife team verbally attacked us! A truly terrible experience.

06/09/2025: We went to Barbanera for dinner today, September 6, 2025. An experience to forget, left to our own devices. The grilled fish was embarrassing. I've never seen anything like it. 17 euros for a tiny piece of fish and a skewer of shrimp. It was incredibly sad! The other diners also had broken squid, just four tiny pieces on their plates. A mind-blowing price for that miserable dinner. I honestly feel like I was being taken for a ride. NEVER AGAIN!!!

06/04/2025: In un aprile che sembra gennaio siamo arrivati al posto di confine tra Stato pontificio e Regno Borbonico. Qui, da anni e con passione, viene preparata una ottima cucina del territorio, con grande fierezza. Abbiamo mangiato triglie marinate (splendide), insalata di mare tiepida (sapore molto buono), riso ai frutti di mare (grintoso), brodetto di pesce alla sanbenedettese (unico per tipicità) e un sorbetto al Montepulciano d’Abruzzo capace di fare digerire splendidamente il tutto. Pranzo in atmosfera accogliente, con servizio attento. Eravamo in tre (io, mio marito e il barboncino). Quello più coccolato è stato il barboncino. Quando una persona ama i cani e il suo lavoro, ha un grande cuore.

19/10/2025: Birthday table. 18 people. Seated at 8:30 PM, first pizza served at 10:15 PM. Despite my complaints, when I booked, I specified if there were any problems since it was Saturday. Answer: NO PROBLEM. Another sore point was that the last pizzas, around 10:35 PM, were small. So, the pizza was good, but the staff was disorganized and unprofessional. Last but not least, the cutlery and plates for the cake were delivered intermittently. For those reading this, after that, would you go back to eat pizza after a two-hour wait?

13/09/2025: As a Neapolitan I can say that it is an excellent pizza, the atmosphere is rustic and welcoming, the staff is very kind, when we pass through Gaeta it will become a regular stop
