11/05/2026: The restaurant, besides being very charming, overlooks Lake Averno. The atmosphere is very peaceful and serene, far from the noise of the city. It's surrounded by a beautiful atmosphere, greenery, water, cats, and ducks. Parking is nearby for just €2 for the whole day. The staff is very friendly, knowledgable, and easy to chat with. There are many dishes to choose from, both seafood and non-seafood, and many of the fish and shellfish were fresh that day. My boyfriend and I had spaghetti with baby octopus (creamy and so large it helped me finish it) and pacchero col coccio (it was a dish with a first and second course inside because the coccio was whole, and my boyfriend had to forgo the second course due to its fullness). A whole bottle of good white wine for the price of just one glass. A restaurant known for its long history but little publicity, but it's been around for a long time precisely because it's never raised its prices excessively and has kept the quality unchanged. It's a restaurant from another era, without frills or strange reinterpretations. My boyfriend and I hope it lasts forever.
10/05/2026: I've rarely found myself giving such a high-quality review, but I have to give credit to a great, quiet, and high-quality family-run restaurant like this. The location is enchanting, the perfect backdrop of Lake Averno with ducks, kittens, and sunshine. The restaurant is wooden, with an old-fashioned style; one of those old-fashioned restaurants that have retained their essence. The menu offers a wide variety; we chose two first courses: paccheri with coccio (a kind of pasta) and calamari and shrimp; and spaghetti with octopus sauce. What can I say? Rare quality and freshness, a whole coccio (a kind of pasta) on one plate, and abundant octopus on the other. Both dishes were very, very generous, unlike anything I've seen elsewhere. White wine paired very well, along with water, berry cheesecake, and a lemon cream for dessert. The service was prompt and, above all, very convivial and friendly, with occasional pleasant conversation. An important note is the osteria-like price, a rare find these days. I recommend it 100% for the whole experience, I'll definitely be back. Long live restaurants like this, the true Neapolitan-Puteolana tradition.
