31/07/2025: Pizze ottime.Ambiente confortevole

06/06/2025: End of school year party, pizza round menu: after an hour 5 pizzas arrive at the children's table (about 20 children), after another 20 minutes 6 pizzas arrive at the parents' table (about people). and so on for another round.. The girl tells us that the oven is small and we have to be patient (that's fine although, in my opinion, if you can't handle such a number avoid taking these tables. Tonight we were 2 classes plus the tables) I wait a bit and then I get up and go to see the oven: the two pizza chefs and do nothing and the owner who justifies herself by saying "we brought the pizzas to everyone". At this point I raise my voice a bit and simply tell her that if for them the service is over they can bring us the bill and at least we are free to go to dinner somewhere else. Magically in less than 10 minutes about ten pizzas arrive! In addition to this they made us pay for the last 2 "special" pizzas and the boxes with Nutella separately. I won't go into more detail because it would be pointless! I don't think I'll ever eat there again, but I promise that if I ever have to go back and find the same service I'll have Delivero come and deliver the pizzas!

10/05/2025: Mangiare qui, davanti ad un panorama mozzafiato, vedere il tramonto sul mare è già meraviglioso. L'esperienza culinaria indescrivibile per la bontà e la genuinità dei piatti. La gentilezza e l'attenzione del personale senza uguali. Vito che sovrintende perché tutto sia perfetto. Cos' altro si può chiedere?

17/07/2025: L'esperienza culinaria più brutta della mia vita. Abbiamo ordinato polpo e patate, senza sapore alcuno, senza condimenti, le patate bianche macerate nel limone x giorni pallide e plastificato! Su consiglio del gestore abbiamo ordinato anche una grigliata mista perché invogliati dalle sue parole " "sicuramente in vita vostra non avrete mai assaggiato una grigliata così"! Pesce avariato marcio!! La grigliata mista andata a male con tanto di conferma del gestore che ha assaggiato il pesce dal nostro piatto!! Siamo scappate via!! Su una cosa aveva ragione mai in vita mai ho mangiato del pesce così! Mai più!!!! Peccato non aver potuto dare 0 stelle!!!

13/07/2025: Serata da dimenticare due ore di attesa per avere un pacchero per poi arrivare completamente scotto da mandare indietro. Un calamaro alla piastra e poi portano anellini alla piastra. Chiediamo tonno alla piastra sottolineando che volevamo granella di pistacchi e no di nocciole visto che si poteva scegliere e arriva la granella di nocciole facendolo notare il cameriere scocciato dice che avevano finiti i pistacchi mandiamo il piatto indietro e poi torna con i pistacchi. Peccato il posto è carino ma il ristorante da evitare.

17/07/2025: Alla porta d'entrata c'era il cartello cercasi dipendenti con sotto una scritta molto educata dove si richiedeva personale molto qualificato e senza voglia di oziare sul luogo di lavoro. Avrei dovuto capire da lì cosa aspettarmi, ma contatto per avere info sul mestiere (non si sa neanche per quale lavoro cercano). Chiedo info, specificando che non potevo rispondere al telefono (per microfono rotto) e che avremmo potuto organizzare un incontro dal vivo senza problemi quando volevano. La risposta maleducata di chi gestisce mail e numero whatsapp è che non fanno colloqui via chat, mi viene ripetuto più volte nonostante dia la disponibilità dal vivo. Conclusione: se avete il microfono del telefono rotto, non potete lavorare per loro! Non ho parole. (E non si sa ancora che tipo di dipendente cercano.)

18/05/2025: It had been more than twenty years since we went there, unfortunately the disappointment was huge!... The food was tasteless and not up to the price, the place very dated.. and the service a bit awkward. Too bad, because once upon a time going to eat at Polveriera meant going to a top place and you came away satisfied and happy. It would have been better to leave it in our memories...!!

14/05/2025: We were here with a tour group this evening and had an excellent meal! This restaurant has an amazing view of the city. Service was fast and efficient. Every course was excellent. I would especially call out the farro soup. It is new to me and I really enjoyed it. Could not be more pleased with this establishment!

12/07/2025: We went there on the recommendation of our host. The food was okay, but it didn't blow us away. It was very expensive, and there was an entrance fee of €2 per person. The host was grim, but not rude. He's an old man, old school. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. It didn't offer anything special. The prices shown here on Google Maps are already past history. They cost about €2-3 more per dish. The picture shows a "pasta carbonara." I'm not familiar with this dish.

26/04/2025: Il posto è molto bello con una vista mozzafiato ma il cibo era veramente pessimo, per non parlare del servizio. Non lo consiglio.

24/04/2025: Abbiamo scelto il ristorante per la nostra prima cera qui in costiera. La cordialità del personale di sala ci fa da subito affascinati. Abbiamo potuto assaporare pesce di qualità e ottimi abbinamenti. Anche i dolci locali sono stati impeccabili e ricchi di gusto e note aromatiche delicate. Prezzi decisamente equilibrati per l’ottima qualità. Ci siamo trovati talmente bene che abbiamo deciso di ritornare più volte. Rinnovo qui i complimenti per la cucina e per la passione che mettete nei piatti e nel servizio.

25/04/2025: Disappointment in every respect Unfortunately our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. We *ate badly* and left unsatisfied. The *pasta with clams was excessively salty*, so much so that it completely covered the flavor of the dish. The *fried squid*, which we expected to be light and crunchy, was actually made up of *squid*, harder and less delicate. Additionally, we were told that the *kitchen was closing* and were asked to order “more of the same,” as if they were doing us a favor. This gave the impression that the service was more interested in finishing quickly than in making us have a good experience. Sorry, but we *won't be back* and can't recommend it.

07/06/2025: The place is really nice, simple but very comfortable. The food is very tasty and not the usual things. Starting from the miserable portions, obscene to say the least. I took the tortellini, on my plate there were 10 COUNTED. For 13 euros I do not expect dishes from the New Year's Eve, but the right amount. And then the waitress, an air of superiority, of the either or nothing type. I will definitely not return, so as not to feel like a burden.

16/04/2025: Great little neighborhood restaurant, lots of locals and family atmosphere, excellent value for money, a first course of pasta with either tomato or pesto sauce, second course of a meatball stuffed with eggplant and cheese, where meat is served with a plate of salad or a bean dish, a delight. For only €13 per menu. The menu changes every day to do without hesitation.

10/07/2025: A friendly waiter made the time pleasant

10/07/2025: I went for dinner last night. I had a grilled meat and vegetables. As soon as the dish arrived, the place filled with wasps, so many, it looked like a hornet's nest around the plate. The waiter offered to stand nearby with a spatula to kill the insects that kept fluttering over the food while we were trying to eat. A pitiful scene! In the end, the meat was cold and the vegetables inedible. Despite the inconvenience and the food left on the table, they charged me full price. Going down the stairs, I saw other people in the same situation as me, struggling with insects to get their food, terrified of being stung by wasps. Not recommended! Cleanliness comes first. The place needs to be pest-free. The price is high; leaving food on the table and going somewhere else for dinner isn't nice. Charging full price, knowing the inconvenience it will cause, is truly terrible management. Don't go.
