14/10/2025: Got food in the restaurant that you enter from the hotel, ordered burgers and chips when the food arrived the burgers were raw and stone cold we said we couldn't eat this food ,He started to get mad and waving his hands around and said he could reheat it we said no we didn't want it we will just pay for the drinks and we did not touch the food , when to pay for the drinks he said we had to pay for the food we said we are not paying for the food as we did not touch the food and it was raw he replied he would call the police which he did we were there for over an hour haven't discussion with the police he wanted us arrested the receptions from the hotel came in looking for our room number so he could charge us for the food we said you're not charging it to our room as we did not read the food if this happened anywhere else you would get an apology and not be threatened with the police we have photos and video evidence of all of this which was totally totally disgraceful the waiter started recording us as we set waiting for the police, we do not know what story they told the police outside the said we had to pay for the food which I said I not paying for a service I did not receive and if you want to arrest us you can which he changed these mind as I said this is the graceful for the police to be called over a burger so we paid for our drinks and left, the hotel reception said it I had nothing to do with him but he still got involved in it, Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from the hotel and restaurant please stay away you have been warned.Your remarks are absolutely disgraceful and Racist remarks for all Irish people considered there so many Italian people live in Ireland and are held in Great respect. We videoed the hold situation ,saying that we were drunk and an abusive that is very strange considering the police apologized to us and we did not have to pay you and the police were ashamed to come out over a burger. 04/11/2025: We ate the fish very well. Fish soup Neapolitan appetizers The deconstructed tiramisu served in a coffee maker was delicious.

03/11/2025: The food is good. The pizzas are excellent; being Neapolitan, I can say they're 80% as good as the ones I ate in my native Naples. Giuseppe is a wonderful, very hospitable person. Prices are within current standards.

We particularly enjoyed the location directly by the sea and in the shopping area, which made for a relaxing holiday. The room was always clean, and the food in the hotel restaurant was very delicious. We would especially like to praise the excellent service, from the manager himself to the entire team. We always felt well looked after and were provided with many useful tips for excursions in the surrounding area. The parking in front of the door at a fair price of €8 per day was also very convenient. Overall, we were completely satisfied and are already looking forward to our next visit to the Hotel Playa. 29/09/2025: Definitely a beautiful location. However: I want to apologize for the extremely SLOW service because it's Sunday and it's very crowded, even though it wasn't that crowded when we arrived. The pinsa with buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto was excellent. Our first courses, especially the one with octopus sauce, had extremely sour tomatoes. I hate to be critical, but unfortunately... Never again.

28/09/2025: The only good thing about this place is the lakeside service, with inattentive staff. The price is expensive for what's on offer, and it's a bit of a scam with the fixed menu service. The menu costs €35 per person, but the fish isn't exactly top-quality and the food is poor, and you have to share it between two people, while the price is per person. I'll definitely never be their customer again.

07/10/2025: Pizza was not good at all. Traveled through Italy and here Pizza was the worst. It's difficult to call pizza even.

03/10/2025: We ate at Al Porto last night, and it was simply outstanding! The ambiance, right on the promenade, is beautiful and contributes to a particularly pleasant experience. The food was excellent: the tomato sauce tasted distinctly homemade, and the pizza base was perfectly cooked—crispy yet fluffy. The gnocchi were also excellent: very flavorful and perfectly balanced in the sauce. Overall, truly fantastic cuisine! Add to that the cozy atmosphere on the terrace with its patio heaters and a view of the lively hustle and bustle of the old town. Highly recommended; we would come back anytime!

31/08/2025: A wonderful experience at this restaurant with a sea view, very charming. The service, I dare say, is worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. Excellent fish and meat menu. Prices are average considering the service and food per serving.

13/09/2025: Quality, combination, clarity, presentation. Everything's perfect. Mother and daughter (also truly beautiful) are in the kitchen. They cook the way we imagine real Italian cuisine. They know the clarity of the dishes, the quality and ingredients, and the precise preparation. They can tell when the pasta is al dente; they don't have to pull a noodle out every minute to determine the degree of doneness. We had a delicious meal; I would give it a star. Pulled skate, lukewarm, with steamed fennel, olive oil, and salt. Mussels with risotto, rice, and tenderly cooked potatoes. This broth is delicious. Then came pasta, with prawns and small sun-drenched tomatoes. The main course was sea bass, perfectly prepared, with just a hint of olive oil. It's an insider tip here in Puglia. We drank a bottle of wine with it. Cervaro by Antinori. Also an insider tip. My absolute favorite wine. We'll be back, definitely. With a big hug☺️🙏

29/08/2025: The restaurant is very formal and reserved, with a very extensive menu (perhaps too extensive) that opens with a phrase that immediately turns heads: "minimum spend per person €50." The waiter was very kind, while the order taker was very cold and aloof, perhaps more interested in calculating the bill based on the dishes ordered. We ordered two spaghetti with clams: tasty, but the portion was worthy of a taste and topped with just five clams (Price €22). For the main course, two grilled swordfish steaks, flavorless and of questionable freshness, a bagged salad on the side, and two glasses of white wine to drink, all for the modest sum of €113. The price for a good seafood restaurant is fair, but not here!

20/07/2025: Benvenuti a bordo sul serio! Ristorante dall’atmosfera elegante e calda. Ad accoglierti c’è Anna, che con la sua innata eleganza, cura tutti i dettagli e con il suo sorriso di fa sentire il sapore di famiglia che non ti aspetti. Cibo perfetto, pesce freschissimo presentato con cura nelle tipiche ceramiche Vietresi. Il locale è in centro dove respiri appieno la comunità e la passione che ogni abitante di Vietri mette per tenere vivo un mondo ormai antico fatto di passione per il lavoro e gentilezza. Pulizia ineccepibile Qualità e prezzo ottimi! Tornerò sicuramente il prossimo anno per festeggiare una data importante certa che sapranno rendere la serata speciale come lo è stata quest’anno. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!

06/06/2025: 25-05-2025 Invited by friends, we have lunch in this restaurant inside a Sporting Club. The internal parking protected by trees is very convenient. The greenery is very well cared for, the structure a little less so. Entering the restaurant, the internal rooms are spacious and but they should be modernized. The outside, where we had lunch, was very welcoming especially for the view of the internal garden and the swimming pool. The lunch was to my taste with quality products. The only negative note, the ears with clams, which was not a very successful dish, on the other hand the fish tortelloni were exceptional. Perfect service with very kind and friendly waiters. I recommend this place. One star instead to the Sporting Club where the structure has its age and it shows. The swimming pool, deckchairs and umbrellas are not the best, as are the red clay tennis courts. The court itself is appreciable but the structures should be fixed. On a negative note, the Sporting managers are not very polite and professional.
