Great little restaurant and service was amazing. Food was good!

Our visit to Vecchia Marina was truly a special experience. The restaurant is strategically located right on the beach – perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy fresh fish and then take a dip in the sea. For our starter, we chose the "Crudo di Mare del Giorno" for two. And it was absolutely the right choice! Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. Those unfamiliar with raw fish might hesitate at first. But even I, with my sensitive stomach, had absolutely no problems afterward. For our main course, we ordered "Pesce del Giorno alla griglia o alla pizzaiola" – a red snapper to share between the two of us. The fish was extremely fresh and simply tasted superb. We especially appreciated that the waiter asked if we wanted the fish filleted. Of course: Yes! The fish was filleted very professionally; they even remembered the delicious cheeks. A word of caution: If your budget is on the tight side, you might want to think twice before ordering. The fish currently cost €8 per 100 grams – and it was definitely not a small fish 😄. So you can imagine the final price. For dessert, we had a coffee mousse with ladyfingers. It reminded me a bit of tiramisu, but a simpler and lighter version. If you love fresh fish and your budget allows, I can highly recommend this restaurant. Many thanks also to the restaurant team for letting us change even after 3:30 pm (after swimming), even though the restaurant officially closes at 3 pm. We found that to be very kind and thoughtful.

Beautiful views with amazing fish freshly caught in the morning. If you want to watch one of the most breathtaking sunsets while getting your fish eating reload this is the perfect spot. The owners goes above and beyond to make sure the fish selection and freshness is top notch. P.S. If you complain about the octopus being frozen you don’t understand, octopus in order to be more tender it needs to be frozen so the proteins get more tender.
