14/07/2025: Amazing place for raw fish (especially oysters).

13/07/2025: A disappointment, that's all the hype has gone around. We went to eat here after hearing about it for a long time, but we were disappointed. I was expecting a slightly more refined place, but instead it's just a shack in a beautiful spot by the sea. We sit down, order, and wait half an hour. Mussel soup, mussels in need of cleaning, and the soup bread was obviously days old and lacking in garlic. The cacciucco was a paltry portion, and the bread was the same as the mussel soup. Then we ordered tagliolini cacciucca, which were delicious. Next, we ordered a lemon sorbet that smelled and tasted like baking soda. For almost €100, I honestly don't think we'll be back.

12/07/2025: I'm from Vomero by birth and have been a regular at Pizzeria Alba since I was a kid, frequenting it with my parents. The quality of the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere remain consistently high! I've eaten everything from the excellent, light and easily digestible pizza to the flavorful fried foods, the exquisite first and second courses, not to mention the variety and flavor of the desserts. In my opinion, it's an excellent pizzeria and a remarkable restaurant, a rare gem in Vomero. But I wonder, why are the most negative and misleading reviews coming from travel guides? Perhaps they would have preferred not to pay? Before demolishing a culinary masterpiece, you need to be honest, but then again, among us loyal customers, word of mouth is enough; in fact, the place is always packed and the fake reviews slide right off our backs!!! Thanks Alba!

11/07/2025: Traditional pizza restaurant in the neighborhood. Excellent appetizers, but overpriced. The pizzas were good, but we realized in the afternoon that they were obviously too salty, which left us feeling uncontrollably thirsty. Too bad.

01/07/2025: Great food with typical dishes. Kindness and availability. Very good onion soup, of a superior level! Also good are the bigoli with ragù di corte. Not cheap, but great quality food. We will return!

19/06/2025: Dinner for two, I needed to spend a special evening and I had a great time. The atmosphere is refined and the owner, Mario di Natale, was very kind from the start, making us feel at ease. We started with a really good small entrée (zucchini flowers, vegetables and very thin puff pastry), then a spectacular octopus appetizer with burrata and croutons and a second course of tuna on a sweet and sour base that was perfectly balanced. Everything was taken care of down to the smallest details, from the service to the dishes. The surprise even at the cash register with the final discount! I take responsibility in highly recommending this place.

11/07/2025: I went to the Colosseum Bar yesterday, I highly recommend it. The atmosphere was peaceful, the service excellent, especially Michelle, who was kind and helpful. We had prosecco, tiramisu, and maritozzo; everything was fresh and delicious. We'll be back.

10/07/2025: I went to this bar tonight with my friends. It's a very nice place, with excellent and friendly service. Highly recommended. Super fair prices.

17/06/2025: Today we talk a lot about gourmet cuisine, identifying, with this term, a type of flavor generally characterized by scrupulous research of ingredients that are often unobtainable and bizarre, by unlikely combinations of foods whose main purpose is to amaze, by scientific analyses on the best mineral waters to accompany that or other dishes. And I believed it. But today I have completely revised my position on the subject. The simplicity of the dishes prepared in this place is disarming. The efforts are directed exclusively to the quality of the raw materials, favoring the cleanliness of the dishes confirmed by a perfect preparation, without smudges, where the condiments seem almost absent.. and instead no!! Essential but very tasty sauces, fried foods that you can't explain how they managed to jump from the pan to the plate without retaining a drop of oil, and yet delicious. It cannot be described in words, a meal at Percuoco is an emotion. But if you are still convinced that a cuisine is not gourmet if it is not presented in an eccentric and original way, avoid this place, here you eat seriously. And the service? A courtesy from another time, true, accompanied by smiles that soften every course, every request. So what? I liked it, is it still not clear?

13/06/2025: Trattoria a few steps from the Castle. Found on the web, and chosen for the positive reviews. It deserves 5 stars ... and even more ... thanks to Sara, the waitress, for her kindness and availability .. discreet presence, but attentive!!! Compliments to Francesco (chef of the place) for the dishes with real flavors and for the choice of raw materials .... quality !!! And thanks also to the sous chef. Very clean place. I highly recommend it !!!

19/07/2025: Very friendly staff...good food, we tried the fregola and colurgiones...all with two glasses of good Vermentino...quiet atmosphere...more than fair value for money.

15/07/2025: The mixed appetizers were still a bit frozen, but the ingredients didn't seem bad! The octopus was good, and the fried food was excellent! Very friendly and fast!

04/05/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo per una comunione, abbiamo preso antipasto, 2 primi (pasta cozze, zucchine pomodorini e risotto con crema di scampi (ottimo) )e 2 secondi. Ottima cucina, piatti abbondanti e ottima pulizia del locale Ci hanno servito Gabriela e Giovanni che ringraziamo tantissimo per la loro gentilezza, professionalità e simpatia.

04/05/2025: Con la mia famiglia siamo stati in questo ristorante per la comunione di mio figlioccio,accoglienza e cortesia ai massimi livelli, porzioni super abbondanti...bravi! Assolutamente consigliato.

19/07/2025: I had lunch here with my family last week. We ordered the cold appetizer and the chef's first course (which in our case was gnocchi): I didn't like either. For the main course, however, we wanted to try the mussel sauté: it was good.

15/07/2025: Yesterday at this place we received outrageous treatment. We came in hopeful, looking forward to enjoying a romantic meal near the beach where we usually go. A rude and annoyed waitress denied us access to the beachfront terrace, even though there were several empty tables, and she seated us near a fridge on the other side of the room. Then, when we ordered, only my husband's dish arrived. After a very long wait, a plate was brought for me, but it wasn't what I had ordered. The waitress didn’t speak English — how is that possible in 2025 in a beach resort? I thought she would come back with the correct dish, but she never returned. She didn’t seem to notice or care that only my husband was eating, and no one asked me anything. Guests who arrived after us were seated on the terrace. In the end, annoyed, we asked for the bill — and we even had to remind the owner that we were paying for only one dish. No apology, just a receipt and a cold face. What kind of service is this? I recommend staying away — there are better restaurants in the area with more polite staff.

06/07/2025: Everything was delicious and the location was beautiful....I gave three stars to the service, even though the waiter was very good, because unfortunately he was alone and had to jump from one part of the place to another all evening.

25/06/2025: Lovely fish restaurant. We had gratinated mussels as a starter of the fish dish of the day with a delicious sauce. Good wine selection and perfect service

09/07/2025: Excellent Neapolitan pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven. For appetizers, we had a mix of amazing fried foods, each one better than the last. The pizza was delicious, and to finish, we tried the fried angels with Nutella...what can I say? Magnificent!!

07/07/2025: The “honest” pizza. No strange ingredients, gourmet pizzas for €20. No oysters and champagne. A good and digestible pizza at the right price.
