Ristorante Antico Brolo In Padova

Good standard food We have wanted to try this place for a long time hearing mixed reviews we decided to go. There is nothing bad to say about this place (other than the sticky floors on the way to the bathroom), it is standard Italian food. Nothing to make you go wow, nothing to make you complain. We did notice that it was somewhere people seemed to refuel and leave or as one group stayed and talked even though they had long finished eating. The service is quick, but lacking in anything but utilitarian duty. If you want something that will keep you going, traditional to the area, but don't want to be wowed then eat here. We will eat here again but not in a hurry or when we have people for a fine dinner.

I had lunch in the center of Padua at Antico Brolo l'Osteria, I must say that the food, the service and the location proved to be more positive than expected. Very good at traditional food. The cod croquettes were magnificent 👏

I had the pleasure of having lunch in this historic restaurant in Padua on Easter day. For this special day the restaurant offered a fixed menu with a variety of both meat and fish dishes. This choice was ideal to satisfy all palates. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and familiar. I felt at ease throughout lunch. The layout of the tables and service elements was well taken care of. This helped create an enjoyable experience. The staff was extremely attentive to details and the needs of the diners. I appreciated their courtesy and professionalism. The wine selection was large and well assorted. There was something for every taste. In summary, the family Easter lunch at this restaurant was a success. I highly recommend giving it a try! 🍽️🍷

Found almost by chance while walking around Padua, we booked on Easter day and they found us a place. Excellent menu with right portions and impeccable service, we will definitely be back.

We went there for dinner and had a pleasant evening. Very good food, beautiful and refined environment, excellent service; very recommended place, we will gladly return.

Amazing atmosphere, really nice waiters, but they don’t really speak English. The food was really good, and we also liked the design of the restaurant very much .

Premetto che questo ristorante mi è stato segnalato da un amico che vive a Padova, motivo per cui avevo grandi aspettative. Locale bellissimo, un mix fra tradizione e modernità, che consiglierei anche come location per una cerimonia, quello che mi ha deluso è stata la cucina e i modi un po' invadenti del proprietario. Ho trovato un po' scortese il modo di prendere le ordinazioni, ci ha fatto quasi pesare di non avere voglia del secondo, poi alla mia richiesta se il primo scelto contenesse latticini mi ha risposto che se sul menù c'era il simbolo del gluten free andava bene. Mi spiace puntualizzare che celiachia e allergia a latte e derivati sono due cose completamente diverse. Comunque abbiamo trovato molto buone le crocchette di baccalà mantecato, mentre ho apprezzato meno i pici al ragù di corte, si sentiva un forte odore tipo di brodo che personalmente non amo, ma questi sono gusti. Consiglierei al proprietario di prestare attenzione a tutti i clienti e non solo agli stranieri o a quelli che ostentano soldi, perché magari due giovani apparentemente anonimi avrebbero volentieri consumato di più se si fossero sentiti accolti con più garbo.

Ristorante over the top. Bellissimo locale a pochi passi dal centro. Cucina squisita ottima e raffinata. Ottima accoglienza
