04/05/2025: I love this place. We sort of happened upon it when we were caught up in traffic. Soft, crispy pizza, fresh seafood and homemade bread and the staff make huge effort to give you a fun time. If you want something ‘sophisticated’ and high-end look elsewhere but if you want tasty AF food and friendly staff, come to this place. Love it - love it.

01/05/2025: Wonderful restaurant. Excellent cuisine and service. Favorite place in Torreglia. Suitable for a romantic dinner and for a large company. A great place for a Wedding and Birthday. The interior is cozy and beautiful. The incredible wisteria blooms in April.

08/05/2025: Tried the diavola pizza here and it was really good. A classic thin and crispy crust, not in the Neapolitan style but with a nice texture and well-balanced dough. It was prepared quickly and the price was very reasonable. A big plus is the location, just a short distance from Venice airport, which makes it a convenient stop for a casual and satisfying meal

05/05/2025: Next to the Ponte degli Scalzi, a charming little restaurant with a unique yet traditional cuisine. I found the waitress's service wonderful; she makes great recommendations, and with a smile. The food was delicious, and the dessert was spectacular. Highly recommended for tourists who don't want the typical local staples. Service, food, and location are all 10/10.

26/05/2025: We celebrated our daughter's confirmation in this place, choosing it for its convenient location, not far from the center of Vicenza, and for the numerous recommendations received from friends. The experience was absolutely positive: the food, prepared with quality local ingredients, made each dish a real pleasure for the palate. The staff was attentive and kind, making us feel welcomed at all times, even in the face of small unexpected events. A special thanks goes to Mrs. Erika and her team for the impeccable organization and kindness. We will definitely be back.

This is a great place to celebrate an adult birthday party, a company farewell, or just a romantic evening between two people. Nice, cozy, intimate place that is able to accommodate your needs and serve you delicious Italian cuisine.

06/06/2025: The food was disappointing and far too expensive for the quality. The service was good and fast. They skimped on the interior design. However, the restaurant was mostly clean, and you get limoncello shots on the house at the end.

05/06/2025: Average taste for the food. Most disappointed was the bill with double price for mix grill plater. From the beginning waiter inform that this is set for two, but he didn’t inform that he will make double. Even with single the price was overestimated. I will not recommend this place

We started with a stunning appetizer: tiny shrimp from the lagoon, fried whole and served over creamy polenta with a delicate cod mousse made with milk and cream. Then came a beautifully plated octopus dish with razor clams and a fresh young artichoke salad – a perfect balance of texture and flavor. The grand finale: spaghetti cacio e pepe with scampi – a dish so rich and refined, it left a lasting impression. This is not a tourist trap, but a place where you experience Italian cuisine at its finest, made for those who truly appreciate top-level cooking. Service was impeccable, the wine pairing spot on, and every detail of the evening felt carefully curated. Zafferano isn’t just a dinner spot – it’s a world-class dining experience.

18/04/2025: Excellent dishes from local cuisine perfectly cooked, service very polite, friendly, professional and appropriate. An experience, so I can recommend pretty much the entire menu because you won't go wrong. Bread basket is fantastic and large with different types of bread from all over Italy. Biscuits from the kitchen are very good and light, coffee is great. Very nice atmosphere with plenty of space for guests and very quiet. Easy to reach with very long parking spaces but at the restaurant the ticket can be exchanged for free, so it's free.

02/06/2025: Giovanna, una dipendente del combo, ci ha diffamati con parole offensive, insultandoci, perché abbiamo consumato un too good to go nei pressi del bar, too good to go dello stesso combo. Ci ha cacciati a malo modo urlandoci contro. Ha agito in modo giusto ma assolutamente irrispettoso, pessima dipendente… eravamo clienti abituali da molti anni, ora dopo questo incidente non consiglieremo questo posto a nessuno

02/06/2025: Tellement traumatisés par notre précédente expérience au restaurant "Pietra rossa ", nous avons dîné deux fois de suite dans cet endroit si paisible et sympathique. Sur la charmante place des Jésuites, un service courtois, attentionné et des plats simples et savoureux. Le 1er soir, nous avons goûté à l’excellent hamburger et ses pommes de terre frites, goûteux et jubilatoire . Le lendemain, un poke avec riz noir, avocat, poulet... léger et savoureux. La cour intérieure est très agréable pour l’apéritif, goûtez le Hugo Spritz, alanguis sur les coussins du cloître pour vous délasser!

10/05/2025: The location is downtown Padova with pay parking nearby. The seafood is locally sourced and fresh. The staff is very professional and do speak English (they also have an English menu). High-quality seafood restaurant. Interested wine list.
