12/10/2025: A wonderful surprise, eating in the garden, under gorgeous trees. The staff were young and attentive, and the food was excellent. The wine was good, even the rum. I hope to return, as I'm not from the area.

10/10/2025: I really loved it. The food exceeded my expectations. Unique, not classic, but delicious. Prices were normal. There were three of us. Two of us shared an appetizer, first course, and second course. They brought the dishes to us already portioned on separate plates, a rare treat! They changed the cutlery for each course. The desserts were excellent, not too sugary. Perfect!!! The staff was attentive, gentle, and professional. There are no photos because we immersed ourselves in their deliciousness and didn't have time to take them. 🤗 Well done 👏👏👏

30/09/2025: We were welcomed an hour earlier than we'd booked, as a storm was approaching, so we could watch it while we ate. The service was friendly, the food was good, especially the steak tartare—real beef, chopped with a side dish. On Saturday evenings, it was packed, like at any cult restaurant—it's worth making a reservation.

15/10/2025: We took pizza with us. It was delicious.

14/10/2025: The restaurant is beautiful! However, our food (5 adults and 3 children) didn't arrive at the same time. This was especially annoying for the children. I was expecting something other than spinach from the cooked vegetables. I also thought the birds in the cage outside were simply not kept in a species-appropriate manner these days. This may all be nitpicking, but with above-average prices, it's fair to say. :-) Overall, though, we were satisfied with the quality of the food, and the service was pleasant.

23/09/2025: I'll give it a 6=, roughly averaging the food (7/8) and service (4-). The service is extremely slow, almost to the point of being unbearable (I'll explain the actual times: 30 minutes to order, a good 50 minutes in total before we could start eating). No apology or understanding from the staff. The strong air conditioning and open doors create a draft, which is annoying for those in the flow. This has been reported by several customers, but it seems like no comfortable solution was possible. The acoustics are rather poor in a restaurant that is aesthetically new and fairly well-kept. The voices are always loud. Obviously, it depends on the restaurant's guests, but unfortunately, the atmosphere doesn't help. The food is certainly good and the prices are fair, so it gets full marks from this point of view, but in all honesty, I would never recommend eating there to a friend.

21/09/2025: Beautiful restaurant, with clean lines in a modern setting that stands out in the city. We were served by the owner, Mr. Mauro, who was kind, helpful, and never intrusive. He provided impeccable explanations of each dish and offered suggestions for those unsure whether to choose between innovative and traditional dishes. The staff was young and friendly. The dishes were carefully served, with generous portions and moderate prices. One of those places you'll want to return to. Family lunch, November 2024. (Terrine of chicken liver and goose liver with brioche bread and apple compote, and fresh pasta ravioli with pumpkin, smoked ricotta, and hazelnut butter).

12/10/2025: Superb pizza, same great, but the place deserves a little refreshment especially in the 2nd room, and a dessert menu less Chinese restaurant style 🤣

04/10/2025: The pizza at La Cantinetta is truly excellent. It has a crispy base, fresh ingredients, and tastes delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also very pleasant, making you feel at home immediately. The staff was attentive and friendly, making our visit a very successful experience overall. The only minor drawback: a very loud group of drunken guests was sitting near us, which was a bit distracting. However, that's not the restaurant's fault. Overall, it's a highly recommended place for a relaxed evening with very good pizza.

From the first moment, we fell in love with the breathtaking view overlooking Lake Garda, and then we had the pleasure of meeting Sara and her wonderful family. 09/09/2025: We tried the larded scallops, which were very tasty and plentiful. For our second course, we had seared tuna with herbs, which was light and excellent. Another main course was the cod, which was very generous and had the same texture as the scallop, soft and tender. The wine to accompany it was an Alta Langa Pas Dosé, perfect with the entree of pumpkin cream, truffle, and chanterelles, and the other generally fatty dishes. I recommend it.

23/09/2025: We returned to this pizzeria after several years, the first time under this management, but we were disappointed. The pizza dough we were served was burnt on the outside but raw on the inside, with the crust quickly becoming soggy and inedible. Only at home did we realize we'd been charged for a coffee and a sorbet that we hadn't ordered or even bought.

21/09/2025: The best Neapolitan "cuoppo" in Verona. The fried pizza is a masterpiece. Highly recommended.

10/10/2025: Welcoming, clean, and well-equipped rooms. Pleasant restaurant and excellent food. Excellent value for money. Friendly and professional staff. Just steps from the village of Borghetto and Villa Sigurtà. We'll definitely be back.

19/09/2025: Locanda Lo Scudo is a truly interesting, refined, and elegant place. It's a place where you immediately feel at ease, thanks to the cozy atmosphere and the friendly, attentive service. The staff is always smiling and professional. We ate fish and loved it: especially the sea bass, which was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. It was a wonderful experience; we relaxed and disconnected from everyday life. A very beautiful, charming, slightly quirky place, and above all, with truly delicious cuisine.

04/10/2025: The food didn't live up to expectations. The chicken had an unpleasant smell, and the rib-eye steak was actually just a thicker steak. I had ordered a veal chop, but was served a pork chop; I reported the error to the waiter, but received no response. The price was still fair.

30/09/2025: The price/performance ratio is on the high side. The food was okay. The chairs are uncomfortable. We had fish, and the service was spartan.

19/10/2025: A traditional trattoria with simple decor, but not a very large space (it's best to book online). In mid-October, we ate on the veranda (protected by plastic sheeting and slightly heated). Excellent, simple, and traditional food, including vegetarian options; the hummus is excellent. Generous portions and more than reasonable prices. Friendly staff. I definitely recommend it, especially since it's outside the usual tourist area.

18/10/2025: Do not go if you are a tourist! They refused to give us a table even though multiple tables were free, didn’t even answer us or look at us. They told us to leave. Very rude!!!
