11/03/2025: In the afternoon we had dinner with the children at “Due Torri”. The gnocchi is a DREAM! The pizza was also very good! The children's meals as well and such a large portion that both children had enough with one portion. The service was incredibly nice! Especially with the children :-) It was quiet and pleasant in the restaurant. Highly recommended! We'd love to come back.

07/03/2025: We ate in the Due Torri restaurant for the first time today and were thrilled from the first moment. Super nice service, great restaurant with a nice atmosphere, we really enjoyed the food and it was very tastefully prepared. I had tagliatelle with truffles and scallops, a real treat! We'd love to come back, if not tomorrow!

You as the boss and your employees smile, are friendly and courteous and give every guest a feeling of security. Impossible? No, experienced it here and it was wonderful. Short information that the kitchen is taking a little longer today, a compliment to the guests for the choice of food. Wow. And the wait is worth it. 02/03/2025: This is an amazing restaurant recommended by many locals and I now know why! If you’ve been in Venice a while and have had your fill of Cicchetti or black squid ink pasta, this is a modern take on Venician cuisine. The plating was as beautiful as the flavors and the bread … they know how to do a bread. But don’t dive into until they’ve brought the olive oil to dip into to it ! The wine suggestions were thoughtfully curated and the owner was extremely knowledgeable. The amuse bouche was out of this world and opened your appetite for what was to come. A meal for two could be a few appetizers and and a pasta, but the fish of the day or the sea bream in broth was amazing. You know a place is good, when they put a hold of 180 euro to reserve.

06/01/2025: Recommended by a local shopkeeper, we had lunch in this delightful trattoria. Friendly, attentive and kind staff. The menu makes you want to order everything, we ate the famous tortellini both in broth and with really good butter and sage, not to mention the exquisite desserts. Super super recommended we will be back for sure. It is truly fortunate that these ports where tradition meets taste still exist.

31/12/2024: Trattoria il Cavallino gave us a delicious lunch during our visit to Borghetto and Valeggio sul Mincio. Emanuela's welcome was warm and professional, while the quality of the food and drinks proved to be excellent. The restaurant, with its family atmosphere and lovely outdoor area, is welcoming and pet-friendly. A place that knows how to perfectly combine local gastronomic tradition with genuine hospitality. Advised!

06/03/2025: Torno dopo molto tempo al Calandrino e lo ritrovo in splendida forma. Menù sfizioso con una squisita zuppa di cipolle (descrizione riduttiva di un piatto con ovetto, tartufo, formaggio e, ovviamente, pane e cipolle); delizioso il risotto, ottimi i dolci. Pane, olio, benvenuto della cucina, piccola pasticceria per viziare adeguatamente i clienti. Carta dei vini eccellente, dove scegliamo un buon Trento doc e un ottimo Sauvignon alto atesino. Servizio degno del fratello maggiore tristellato che è a fianco. Conto in linea con locale, cibo e servizio. Molto ma molto bene.

05/02/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante a pranzo, domenica scorsa. Non possiamo che confermare i commenti negativi di alcuni dei precedenti clienti: portano piatti non richiesti spacciandoli per assaggi e poi te li fanno pagare; il menù esiste, ma non rispecchia quello che ti propongono, quindi non puoi sapere i prezzi di quello che ordini; alla fine ti presentano un conto esagerato senza alcun dettaglio, ma semplicemente con scritto cena. Al momento del pagamento eravamo perplessi, ma ci siamo fidati. Ricontrollando il conto a casa, abbiamo visto che non c’era alcun dettaglio e il documento non sembra nemmeno valido fiscalmente. Abbiamo provato a telefonare più volte per chiedere spiegazioni, ma il titolare si è negato. Il costo è stato il seguente: 180 euro (in due) per 1 antipasto di crudo; due primi (serviti come hanno voluto loro, in tempi sbagliati e ingredienti diversi da quelli richiesti); 2 dolci; una bottiglia di vino da circa 40 euro; una grappa; acqua; 1 caffè. Lo sconsigliano vivamente per la poca onestà. Non ci era mai capitato nulla di simile, nonostante sia nostra abitudine mangiare fuori a pranzo la domenica. Per pranzi di quantità e qualità simili non andiamo oltre la soglia massima di 130.

Traditional dishes, refined seasonal products, tortelli and homemade pasta EXCELLENT! Better than at home.. variety of SUPER cuts, sliced ​​pata Negra. ..STELLAR!! Congratulations... please continue like this!!! Then a walk by the lake (10 minutes on foot) to dispose of it there is... I highly recommend...because I know about quality food!!!

08/03/2025: This evening my boyfriend and I had dinner at this restaurant and we were very satisfied! The location is really nice, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes the experience even more pleasant. The menu offers an excellent selection of starters, first and second courses, and every dish we tasted was really good and well presented. The only suggestion I feel like giving concerns the service: a little more courtesy from the staff, perhaps an extra smile, would make the experience perfect. Having said that, I absolutely recommend this restaurant! Excellent quality and a more than satisfactory price. We will definitely be back!

05/03/2025: The black pasta with cuttlefish is very good, the grilled fish too. We have asked for it to share and it has been enough. About €35 per head with wine and dessert. The cheesecake is very good.

05/03/2025: Incredibly good! A real treat, a small address in a super nice setting, the adorable servers, especially the lady who was really great. I loved my pasta, I think I can say it was the best of my trip. Be careful, this is a very typical restaurant, you have to love seafood! We ate a mix of seafood (€18 I think) and a dish of pasta with shrimp in spicy tomato sauce (also €18). Even the desserts were delicious (tiramisu, it feels homemade, and Nutella cheesecake, the same) Go for it!!

16/03/2025: We went today for the first time for a family lunch. Nice surprise, nice environment, excellent food, excellent service from the guys at the table and a good quality/price ratio. The only discordant note was the behavior of the manager or owner, he filmed the staff in front of us customers and seemed very annoyed, he gave me the bill without raising his eyes for a moment. Maybe we found his bad day. For the rest everything is excellent.

11/03/2025: I've been to them several times for lunch and once we even had a special family occasion. I've always had a great time, we eat genuine food, very good and well looked after. In terms of cost it is slightly higher than normal but for the quality of the dishes and the menu they present I find it correct. I have always found it to be a quiet inn where I can spend time in company without noise or confusion. They have some public parking spaces outside the venue. I recommend stopping by if you have the chance
