While searching for a typical Italian bar, we enjoyed a delicious, strong cappuccino with crispy brioche in the morning. Although the bustling area around St. Mark's Square isn't far away, you can enjoy a true break from the tourist crowds here. Since we liked it so much, we visited the Osteria again in the early evening and once more found a lively bar with delicious and reasonably priced Aperol and beer. The atmosphere was fantastic again in the evening, and the service was excellent.

20/05/2026: In a small street in Venice, a superb restaurant where I ate very well, specializing in Venetian-style calf's liver, which was excellent. The country ham was also to die for, and the boaters come to eat there, so there you have it.
